delete everything in your ldoge blockchain folder what has the wallet.dat except the wallet.dat file. Backup your wallet.dat file and put in this updated blockchain download

Thanks, that worked.

Looks like it's been on a wrong chain.

@Dev,  c-cex wallet of XVG is under maintenance. when will it be fixed?

That's a question you need to ask C-Cex. Send it through their support link. Pretty sure they have one.

@ coins101 and/or KarmaShark

I was not in the AMA so not sure if this was asked.

About the snap shot. Are only coins in local wallet counted?

Basically what I mean is if coins are on an exchange will we have to pull them out and put them in our local wallet or will you exchange one for one with coins on say BitTrex and then it will be up to BitTrex to distribute the coins?

It is but natural to hold your SPR to your wallet. It is the only way to hold your relationship with the stake  via SPR address. Addresses are unique and reside on the blockchain so you must keep your coins to local wallet.

We are in discussions with Bittrex to help assist. If they are in agreement then users will be able to hold their SPR in their Bittrex controlled address / wallet. Bittrex would be acting as the third party here, crediting the addresses it holds in their wallet. If you have your SPR in a wallet you control then the entire redemption process will run through you, opposed to a third party in Bittrex.

Friendly reminder to come join the Helium Slack channel, which is by far the best place to find out information and become involved: https://heliumslack.herokuapp.com/

Thanks for the response.

We are talking crypto here.

Not everyone holds their coins in their wallets for their own personal reasons. Some put coins on an exchange and set them at a predetermined sale price. Others put coins on exchanges and forget about them.

I personally leave my coins in my wallet (my sig is a tongue in cheek about all the cryptos lost from exchanges "going under") until I am ready to move them. I asked the question because it needed to be asked. Might not have been for my benefit but questions need to be asked and answered for every to be aware and might not have thought to ask.

EDIT: Also it has been known in the past for coins to be "lost" from exchanges during this process. It has happened and no I am no saying BitTrex would do this. I only used them in my example here and above as that is my main exchange.

A lot of miners are tards, I wouldn't be surprised if their cards are either throttling or they have a low TDP selected from mining Equihash.

Someone is instigating drama here. Not sure who pissed in Alexis's cheerios today, but it's showing. Probably something in a IRC channel somewhere. I've never actually seen him post on BCT before. It's a brand new account.

Epsylon can you confirm this is the same guy that made the miner? Based on the hate SP gets around here and the seemingly lack of any sort of coding knowledge by this 'Alexis' (can't deconstruct .exes for comparison for instance, just wants github code), I'd say it's a smurf account for trolling.

Trolling.

Funny coming from you.

You should really know who the devs are.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: April 18, 2017, 02:12:22 AM
Here is just my  three cents on the asic front.

Does not matter if the devs plan on using the, building them, selling them or anything else down the road. Whatever algo is chosen and the coin does well and other coins follow then you can bet asics will be out.

Hasn't this been the pattern? Sha, scrypt, all the x's, quark and the rest.

You can bet if spread-x would be more popular and worth it then the asic companies would have built one.

Also don't think we won't see an equihash asic if the algo stays popular and other coins use it.

Just about every algo that has been "asic proof" has been "proofed". Also don't think those asics just popped up. They were used for months before being sold to the public.

Is there an actual Windows compiled wallet? Can't really see one on the Git.

wallet, and client its all in one Smiley

for non-tecky people i guess the latest one click installer is at:

(tho DAMN, look at all those dev builds, getting WORK done they are! Cheesy )

Thanks for that. There was so many choices and the wallet was not labeled the best I could find.

From the picture it looks like we have send our SPR to Escrow and receive them back along with HLM.

I am not the craziest about sending my coins from my wallet to someone else and getting them back.

Is there a time frame for the swap? Does all the coins have to be sent at once?

I set up the conf like Lercker said.

I'm thinking that I'm just not getting the block because of my low Mh. (and maybe it's mining fine.)
I'll let it run an hour and see if I get a yes at some point.

It would be helpful if you would post your bat instead of others posting theirs.

You should not have that many boos back to back and a short time in between them with your hash rate.

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: March 25, 2017, 12:34:31 PM
That another nvidia thread got flooded (Cool) so I will ask here:

980ti. I don't care about power, heat, noise just pure hash/ €. I have very limited time to test os/miner/algo combinations. Dualmining, equihash, lbry maybe?

Good answer and I will send some ethbeer.

NVIDIA CAPACITY FOR SECONDARY COIN IS GOOD--

With Claymore's miner, if you turn the intensity up for the secondary coin it can increase the yield of the secondary coin a significant amount, at least 2X compared to default intensity values.  The primary coin is not affected a great deal; you will need to experiment.

If energy and heat are not a concern, you can really increase your earnings.  Short answer, and off topic.  Epsylon3 likes a clean thread.       --scryptr

With the memory bus on AMD cards, that's not really all that true. The performance ratios on 480s are pretty ridiculous when you match them with Ethereum. Nvidia got it's niche from being obscure, it's no longer obscure and it no longer has a niche because of it.

You can earn $3.27 mining Eth+Dcr on a 480 or $3.36 per day mining Zcash on a 1070 or $3.54 mining Eth+Dcr. Nvidia is trash right now. Too many people bought in on their cards because they had higher profits on certain things, but those were all niche coins and there really isn't a mega coin that is computationally hardy enough to make Nvidia hardware stretch it's legs. Dual mining depends too heavily on memory bus to make it work and Nvidia doesn't have that.

Furthermore the computationally hardy algos eventually end up with FPGAs on them, which trash the profits... Like SIA for instance. DCR as well, although not nearly as bad. Cryptonote is too hardy and resulted in CPUs still being competitive and botnets took over.

Comparatively speaking. Lyra2v2 is the 'best' coin Nvidia is good at compared to AMD and there is only a handful of really small coins on it. The deck is stacked against Nvidia and too many people flapped their gums in forum threads preaching about the holy efficiency of Nvidia, collectively destroying what we had.

You sure do complain a lot.

One day you will figure it out.

No dev wants to do their work for free without people donating or donating to anther dev for "improving" on their work. And don't start with the crap about adding a fee. From what I can see all of these Nvidia dev except for one follow the rule of the spirit of using open software and will not violate it.

Keep the crap over in sp's thread. Or better yet since you have so much negative to say sell your Nvidia and move over to AMD. Sure they would love to hear you every day asking for this or that.

75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 13, 2017, 11:24:00 PM
DASH is $78. I used to own a masternode when dash was down at $5... 1000 dash. Would had been worth $78,000 today... Sad

Yep, one year ago I made a test with eth profits, 5 btc for a 5x970 rig and another 5 btc to dcr pos-rig. Looking back now I should have never bought those 970's, should have gone all-in dcr.

I can't even look back some of my old sells, felt like king back then making huge profits but now I can see it on different light. I should have never sold for btc except those pure shitcoins.

Example from 2014, mined 480 dark in one night and sold it for btc, got about 10 btc. Felt like a good deal but look at it now, 10 btc=$12,000 but 480 dash=$37,000. Fuck.

Don't kick yourself in the ass. You had a strategy and sell point and stuck with it.

Last summer before going on vacation I told the wife I would sell my EGC for spending money so we did not have to spend out of pocket. At the time I was the second largest holder. Turned out to be about $1,200 or $1,300. Not too bad for the amount of mining for it. About two or three months later it would have been worth about $45,000 or so.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource (tpruvot) on: March 11, 2017, 12:47:06 AM
guys you all now ive all the free time i want, and i only work to let sp selling my/our code... without even sharing his changes... (GPL rulez version sp)

Im exhausted by this community... Want more for less... never happy... etc, and sharks all around... I think this v2.0 with be the final one... forever

This is the exact reason why I posted in the other thread what I did.

You have added all these new algos yet people want to "donate" to another dev because he raised the intensity in his version when people could have donated to you for adding these new algos and with a litle work got the same speeds from his.

I asked before what algo he actually added to his version and the question has been unanswered but it does not need to be answered because I know it. None.

It's a damn shame that people are always asking for this or that but don't really give back in return.

It's just too bad that people have not realized where the real work has been coming from these last few months.

So I would like to say thanks Epsylon3 for the work that you have done.

Also to cbuchner1, chris h, tsiv, djm34, alexis, sillyolbear (if I remember that name correctly) and any other Nvidia devs whos miner I might have used and forgot.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 09, 2017, 12:30:35 PM

There are quite a few new algos in this release that we would not be mining without his work. You don't need a faster kernel as his miners are more about stability and not the fastest speed. If you want a faster kernel donate to him anyways and try OC your GPU slightly or play with the intensity.

 1. lol... Everyone OCs. Faster kernels yield more speed to begin with and the OC on top of it makes it that much faster.

I could really care less if I have to restart a miner every couple hours if it's 10-15% faster. Well worth it, especially cause you can set up a bat file for it.

2. That being said, I do mine on his pool whenever possible, which I think is fair.

1. Evidently you don't get it. I guess that why you keep burning out cards and blaming the fans.

2. No it is not fair to mine "whenever possible". Especially when you cry every day or two about another algo. Here is an idea, quit complaining about other algo's and miners and do it yourself.

There is a reason why no one takes you seriously.

Any news where new version?

you are in the wrong thread for the open source versions : its there https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770064.0

Awesome work on the 2.0 Epsylon3.

To all others in this thread.

I hope we all can see the value in the work that Epsylon3 does and support his work with some donations. Not because you have to buy his versions but because he does this for free and releases his miners.

There are quite a few new algos in this release that we would not be mining without his work. You don't need a faster kernel as his miners are more about stability and not the fastest speed. If you want a faster kernel donate to him anyways and try OC your GPU slightly or play with the intensity.

Again I hope we all see the true value in his work and releases and can help support him to keep these awesome Nvidia miners coming for our side of the mining scene.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: March 05, 2017, 04:42:38 PM
I have been thinking about it, and I believe I have a solution for how to handle the coinswap that is very different from the idea coins101 originally put forward but solves all the problems we have already discussed (and a few we haven't).  Burn the SPR.  Hear me out....

There are 2 types of investors who are taking interest in HLM right now, previous members of the SPR community who are happy to see they have free HLM coming to them and people like me who just bought into SPR for the first time.  As HLM attracts more attention and the run up to the swap grows near, we are going to see a run up in the price of SPR financed solely by new investors for the sake of getting HLM.

What do you see happening to the price of SPR the moment the snapshot or coinswap takes place?  EPIC CRASH.  New investors will be racing to dump their SPR, as they will have a chance to recoup their initial investment (OR MORE!) and still have their HLM.

What do you see happening to the price of HLM the moment it launches?  EPIC CRASH.  It will never be able to sustain the marketcap it establishes for itself before the economic fork.  Long time SPR holders (and even the new investors who are able to dump their SPR to recoup their BTC) will have no skin in the game when it comes to HLM.  They are free coins to them.

The SPR market is in reality the SPR+HLM market until HLM launches on it's own.  With a burn, the value the market places on SPR+HLM can be cleanly and gently split in two once HLM launches.  With a coinswap (or more accurately the 1:1 coin match), you are attempting to take the value of SPR+HLM and **poof** double it in an instant when no appropriate investment has been made to justify it.  The markets will be ugly because they will correct for this.

SPR holders who would like to be involved in both coins may not be happy about this, but they should think of it this way.  Let's say 50% of all SPR gets burned.  Any SPR holder who burns 50% of his coins will end up with essentially the same number of coins if they view their holdings as a proportion of the total coin supply (which is the correct way to view your holdings anyway).

There are other positives to a burn :

-No worries about people scamming by swapping the same coins multiple times

-Transparency (everyone will be able to view the public burn address on the SPR block explorer)

-No need for a snapshot

-No need to get Bittrex on board

I agree with coins101

I am not in favor of a burn.

As you said you are new to SPR but some of us have year/s invested in SPR to just burn them.
