Hi Guys...
Same here... im getting at the point i will have to power down allmost my farm...
Profits are getting so low, and BTC is not worthing that much (411), these two combinations are killing any profit...
Im in Portugal, and paying 0.15 per Kwh add to that + 23% IVA (VAT), so my ratio if we where taking 0.01BTC per 1Mhash as 10 days for electric bill (1btc) and 20 days for proft... Right now it seems that i will take allmost a month to get 1 BTC...
I have partially change my farm to be 75% waffle 25% Middle, to see if i can get any scraps that will help on the payout... But atm im kinda worried about this whole crash...
I have even thinked and move all the miners to dogecoin only...
What to do?
Im averaging 4 Sistems all at 1000w consuption and close to 10mhash processing.

@Poolwaffle, nice politically correct answer.  I will not provide you "any meaningful suggestions" as, to be honest, I want you to fail because (and I didn't know when I started mining but I am sure of it now) these 1.0 auto-profit switching pools are pure evil, wrecking the coin markets by operating the way they do. I hope these pools like yours (and even the 2.0 ones) become even more useless soon when more coins start to implement custom/different protocols requiring modified mining software. We've already seen this with Keccak SHA-3 and Scrypt Jane and the different CPU only coins. I'm only hoping someone won't develop auto-protocol/algorithm-switching mining software then!  Ohhhhhhhhhhhh boy.... Please... I hate this moralism crap!... Keep the good work PoolWaffle, and lets all get money (and i mean good money), and do "rape" alt coins if they get us some good profit... Just to say...
What a missed oportunity...
MC had everything to be the best multi-pool...
The lack of capacity of the Operator is staggering...
No comunication, site broken, low payouts...
I did like this pool on the earlier days, but now ... I have moved on a few weeks ago, in hope that the OP wake up and get their stuff together...
Well i see now that is not going to happen...
Have a good life with all the BTC we have give you H20...

If you use Windows then Remote desktop. If not then i have heard Teamviewer.

I was using Logmein Free, but now is payd and is very expensive for 5 computers...
Any good and cheaper or free alternative to Logmein?

I have asked allready twice with no reply from you...
I have 3 machines with a total combined of 6.0 mhash (1.7 + 2.2 + 2.1).
They are accepting shares, and working at full pump...
All my clients are giving me stable hash...
But on the site and even on the payout, im seeing allmost 1 Mhash less...
Why is that?
Please email me and we can figure out a time to troubleshoot this. Its unfortunately very difficult for me to just give an answer (tons of variables). Pieces to include: full worker names (address+worker), expected rate per worker, endpoint that you're connected to. Any params you're using on your miner would help as well. Im expecting at least 0.01 per 1 Mhash on this pool, but im getting a little less...
Any explanation?
Because we're on average earning a bit less than that With the increased hashrate, we need to make some changes to our profitability switcher to perform better. I've been testing variations all morning, but its just a tedious process. Make a small tweak to half the pool, wait for 2-ish hours to hopefully mitigate some variance, try again... Trust me, I'm way more pissed at the performance than you, and am doing my best to get it up higher Hi PoolWaffer! Thanks for your reply... I will separate all the workers on the 3 mining machines and will send you a PM with all the workers names, configurations and all the expected rates for each GPU. H20 Has responsabilities to the pool and ppl who put 3.88% on his pocket...
I donīt care about him... but i want a properlly runned pool... I pay what he asks to use it...
So if the pool donīt work wel... i pickup my stuff, and move along (like i did to waffle), i will not waste time with crappy talk and popcorn...
In the end who is Fuxed is H20 nothing more... i will get my coin, one way or the other...
No go on vacation H20 and fux off...

I don't have time to continue developing this -- sorry! CGWatcher may be a better interface if you are having problems with cgminer crashing and needing to be rebooted.

I have a mini-farm and i use your software + logmein instead of CGWatcher and Remote...
But the lack of news, features needed and support, are making me thinking in changing to something else...
Can you please say something about this aplication?

I've found using the username 1CVTp4Bk2GkbRDdfVCuEuVXphmzyYJq3Cn seems to reduce the number of rejects I recieve (and hopefully improves the payout), you're welcome to try it out and see if it works.  Let me know how it works for you, the more people that try it the more accurate the results... I wish I had time to add more features, however MC2 (which I work on voluntarily, for free) and my graduate program takes up most of my time right now.
The github repo is available in the first post if anyone wants to fork it and play with it. However, the code is messy and it'll probably be difficult to work with.
As GPU scrypt mining will also be obsolete in about 3-6 months because of ASICs, I also don't have a huge incentive to update the program.
Thanks for the recent tips everyone. I appreciate them.

I entered all the correct details into guiminer but it just shows "starting" or "connecting"

. Hi! Try lowering the TC to less value... Sometimes the cards donīt go to well with some high TC numbers on the GUI Miner... Try this and then work from there on... Best Regards, LPC |
