I believe end of june. The anonymity that Cryptcoin hopes to produce is an archaic form of technology that will not work, and has been proven as such. Not only that but the majority of coins just hit the market in a dump, showing that developers dumped their instamine and are more than likely abandoning ship. RIP. Mindfox was involved in the peer review of XC code, the one that people spreading FUD requested. Days later Cryptcoin was launched and now Mindfox is the lead developer. The thing is that XC still has the p2p protocol, the EXACT thing that he is working on right now for CRYPT, but its already in the wallet. This means that Mindfox took the source code from the wallet he reviewed, stole it, and is now racing to implement it into CRYPT. This can be proven as the technology already exists within the XC client. Furthermore, CRYPT has no ambitions of blockchain 2.0, its simply being manipulated in price so that whales can make a boatload of money before the crash. This lack of goals for the future should strike anyone as alarming, as CRYPT's future is short sided. This scam is spreading, and people are caught up in the hype, but this cannot go unquestioned. If he is trying to rip off the code just goes to show... XC knows what it's doing...... If this is true though it is not exactly a vote of confidence for Crypt.. I doubt XC will be doing peer review of code again in a hurry.... I just woke up, did this guy seriously rip off our code? Running this as a local server will allow users to visually access their wallet and other coin data from anywhere. idea is flawed. open to replay attacks.
idea is not yet mature. it is open only to improvement this flaw is fatal and cannot be eliminated. LOL. Zero points awarded until you can substantiate. There's already a huge messaging overhead on the system, but the Crypt protocol would add significantly more messaging. This will be a disadvantage for scalability, but the real problem is replay attacks. An adversary can easily DDOS the system by replaying the encrypted messages (they don't need to know the contents), just save them and resend them needlessly. Every peer must decrypt each message it encounters (pubkey/privkey crypto is expensive!). Note: the adversary doesn't need to perform any crypto, he can just replay messages over and over again for free. Everyone else has to do all the hard work. Bye bye network. Idea sounds like it was written by a nigerian scammer. You're just going to get more and more angry while this money runs away from you. |

So bring me up to speed on Cryptcoin, I will work on reading the last 60 pages but I'm at work now. Is this a pump and dump in the early stages? Does it have long term potential? Am I a sucker if I buy in now and start mining it? I have BTC sitting in an account and I just committed to buy 3 more 7950s with part of it this morning, I could sell my Hirocoin and Global Denomination and add it to my remaining BTC and buy a couple thousand CRYPT if the price holds at 70000 satoshis. But no matter what price I buy in at.... if I buy, and it goes DOWN the next day.... I'm gonna be pissed.  And if I don't buy, and the price continues to go up..... I'm gonna be pissed. Damned if you do, damned if you don't!! This is the speculative price, before the expected nodeless-anon functionality is released. So this is the accumulation period in preparation for the actual feature getting added, meaning that people expect it to go much higher with that news. I believe the next block halving is in a month or so, and the reward will be very small. I'm not sure if it is cheaper to mine or buy at this point, but you may not get much from mining in a short period as this coin has a pretty high net hashrate and is quite stable. I can't make your purchase decision for you, but I'm holding on tight to the coins I have! |

yup there or around mid 60, we are defo gna break 0.001, i think mintpal have a sale around 0.0009 which when gets destroyed is gna moon I think you're right, consistently 68k and above right now across MintPal, Bittrex, Poloniex, and Cryptsy. Nice high price, but I'm still buying so I'm prepared when we colonize the moon |

mindfox is the current dev who has stepped in to fix some of the features that the coin had promised. mindfox is the 'go to' guy for coin devs when things need to be fixed and they can't figure it out or are out of their depth. He's basically the MacGyver of the crypto world for wallets, so the coin, and your investment is in safe hands.
While I don't think anything needed to be fixed, Mindfox is definitely the "go-to" guy for ambitious projects. Looks like he was already on board, but his identity was revealed to give investors some confidence...definitely seems to be working. |

Long time lurker, first time poster... Please excuse the 0 activity, but I saw Moosa, Koolio, and King Tuna in the same thread and could not miss out on history in the making. I'm sure glad I picked up some CRYPT this week!!!! I can hardly contain my excitement! welcome! Thanks, I think I'll stick around for a while  EDIT: Can anyone tell me when Poloniex and Cryptsy will be changing their tickers from CRY to CRYPT? They're really dropping the ball on this one, especially Poloniex because they keep saying they'll do it soon! It's ruining all sites with aggregated market stats, and bots are getting confused also... |
