people holding coins are losing a lot, I know a guy holding 60k ltc that he bought when it was $8, and he is still holding now, do the math
LTC is going to die, I can't believe this guy still hold it. I doubt very much LTC is going "to die". I doubt very much LTC is not going to die. The writing has been on the wall for the past year; how anyone can't see that is beyond me.

Its not going to stay at $20. It will be lucky to stay at $2. They are dreaming about it lasting generations, great bit of humor there Can you please let me know when its $2? Thanks. It's $5.31 now and at the rate it's dropping at I'd say it will be at $2 in another 4 days. Lolololol Goddamn crypto is hilarious. I'd give it 2 more days.

Seriously, BitAssets are gonna be huge. Everything FandangledGizmo said is 100% accurate. When that turning point comes and people begin to realize the significance of a stable, high-interest yielding, fully decentralized currency...watch out.
Can't wait for 1.0.

This is quite interesting. Are there any wallets who compete on the amount of functionality that Bitshares has ? bitshares core is modified ripple code, you can easily make sure of it trying this https://download.ripple.com/plus, their peg concept is not working as intended, unless crypto community believe in this project and put strong demand to bitassets https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=7843.0;allso, nothing prominent as yet. Really? You provide a thread from AUGUST to prove the peg is not "working as intended"?? BitAssets were launched in August! The peg has been working perfectly ever since price feeds were introduced to the system. And I'm not sure where you're getting that BTS is modified Ripple...? BTS is like Ripple, but a hell of a lot more decentralized, and that's it.

This is how Josh manipulates his clients : https://hashtalk.org/topic/25119/gaw-is-about-to-move-the-markethttps://archive.today/erGhzI have heard many of you ask:
Since Paybase will buy our coins at $20, what's stopping me from buying now at a lower price and selling?
The answer is: all the enterprise accounts we just set up at all the major exchanges. We are going to start aggressively pushing the market up ourselves.
Want to know how we will offer a $20 floor? The answer is easy. We will move the market with our buying power. The market will be above the floor.
Plus, all the coins purchased on Paybase will be purchased from the market!
While the delay for Paybase is unfortunate, it does have a silver lining.
Monday marks the first week day for POS.
It's show time.
My little bots are everywhere.
@Allen1980s I threw the one up ok cryptsy. Just for you
https://hashtalk.org/topic/25190/what-floorhttps://twitter.com/gawceo/status/547037721727107072https://archive.today/CVIzaDid someone say something about a floor? Target price is $25.$25 is where we take a breath #XPY
Indicating that he is directly manipulating the market for a target price of 25USD instead of 20USD to get more of his existing clients and new greedy victims to buy in. Over the last 5 hours we have seen his wall shoot the market up to ~16USD to than crash to around ~13.8USD far short of 25 dollar wall. They are combining the spam marketing promotion with social marketing hype to feed off of their quick market manipulation which is trivial to do with such thin volume. Than he goes on to hedge his bets from the disappointing turnout by making comments like this: https://hashtalk.org/topic/25210/i-am-calling-on-you
I am calling on you not to look at XPY as a stock or profit vehicle.
That's the exact thinking that makes BTC the way it is.
XPY is a currency; it should be treated like you treat your cash. Spend it on things.
Right now, rather than play the market to make a quick buck, call friends and store owners.
Paycoin happens when we work together, and it will mean setting aside some short-term upsides.
We have done a lot of work to get XPY here.
I am calling on the community to rise to this challenge.
I appreciate your belief in mining HPs to make this day happen. But the truth is, it's far from the first time others have invested in a coin.
So let's pat ourselves on the back and move on to the stage where most coins fail.
Let's do the thing no one has ever done, let's forego short-term profit to make this something bigger than ourselves.
I know many of you need access to cash, so I am not asking those of you.
Keep in what you can, and stand behind XPY.
Now is when it matters most.
Which is ridiculous because there has been practically no merchant adoption of the coin(Another lie / exaggeration by Josh) and paybase still isn't open so he is asking people to spend it on things when they cannot while simultaneously pumping it as a get rich scheme with that spam blast and than chastising people for treating XPY like a profit vehicle. You are being manipulated and this is going to end badly.Holy hell I knew this sounded ridiculously scammy, but I didn't realize just how bad it was. "$25 is where we take a breath #XPY"?? Are you fucking kidding me?? Please don't fall for this shit. You don't just call out a random price you're looking to push a coin to unless you're a pumper, i.e. a scammer. (If Josh was so intent on making paycoin a currency that should be spent immediately, what difference does the price make anyway? Hmm??)

Remember, BitShares PTS holders receive a perpetual dividend in the form of ownership in every future BitShares DAC.
Thats false advertising. Core I3 DACs (Bitshares, MUSIC and PLAY) are already allotted, and the future 3rd party DACs have no obligation or incentive to sharedrop on alphaBar PTS (stop calling it Bitshares PTS). For all those who are confused with the Bitshares name, PTS was originally one of the two sharedrop vehicles for I3 DACs. Last month Bitshares decided to merge and also awarded stake to the PTS holders, and as far as they are concerned PTS is irrelevant. alphaBar, with support from some of the community, decided to create a DPoS version of it and keep it running. Agree 100%. The devs saying they "support" this are doing so as a good faith gesture so they don't look like bad guys going against the "social consensus" (that was effectively eliminated upon the merger). And they know there's no way to completely eliminate PTS or someone else will just try to resurrect it all over again, so might as well support it. The devs even returned all PTS donated to them over the past year to show they no longer have any affiliation to PTS after ultimately buying them out with an airdrop of BTS. I cannot support alphaBar PTS as it is no longer indicative of the core BTS community whatsoever. BTS is where it's at.

possible Pump announcement: Kittehcoin (MEOW) due to very good fundamentals I am only small fish so it needs to be community effort.
The internet needs cats! Go!
this is groundfloor - only suviving and possible catcoin (internet and cats can't go wrong). Only 1 LTC per day right now cost of running network, low inflation, low sellresistance. Chain running good. Listed on 3 or 4 exchanges. Halving reward: yesterday. Get it going people! It's all yours and it'll work. Don't overpump though. Be reasonable.
We did this already. Lol back in January-February...I still have my poor kittehs bought as high as 100 sat...now that was a pump. Too bad I didn't understand how pumps work back then...good lesson though.

Some of you guys will never learn. When the price rises 10% over a couple days, you need to ask yourselves, "has anything happened to justify this increase?" If the answer is no, then it's a pump and dump. Every previous rally was triggered by some type of event or sentiment. Chinese exchanges opening, the US government softening its position, or major retail adoption. But none of those matter anymore.
What's happening now that could possibility rally people to buy bitcoin? Increased competition from Apple Pay? More regulations incoming? So... basically nothing.
Wow riiiising, that was actually incredibly insightful. And 100% accurate. Props bro.

Judging by his last post (below) he's not bothered about the short term price swings. I am back Been busy doing other things since I sold my house for bitcoin, and haven't really been following the price that closely. I check every so often and lo and behold it is back to $660+ right now!!!!!!! Well it looks like my $400K investment is going to make me a millionaire very soon. Now back to what I was doing... enjoying life. lol you actually believe that? He may be "enjoying life" when he "checks every so often" and the price is in the $600 range, but I can guarantee you he is shitting bricks right now (notice how he stopped posting since then...)

The dilution is likely to be less than 2% per year, and goes directly to funding worthwhile projects (as voted on by the shareholders) to build the entire BTS ecosystem. This is way less than bitcoin's 8% dilution and the new money actually goes to increase shareholder value as opposed to waste it like bitcoin mining does. And the dilution is hard capped at 6.3%, but only the amount shareholders vote for will actually be diluted. Personally, I think the ability to fund BTS growth in this manner is absolutely a killer feature.
BitUSD is mainly traded on the internal BTS exchange; there's too little liquidity on Bter for it right now. That'll change with adoption.
