61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: August 14, 2020, 06:32:41 AM
I am new to the crypto world. Im planning to invest in Eth because i have an instinct that this will rise up in the future. Any thoughts? Help .

That is a wise choice for newbie as you because the safe of Ethereum just behind Bitcoin in this market, maybe the profit will come slowly but if you apply the average price strategy to buy it also be good for long time
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: August 14, 2020, 06:25:27 AM
Do you even know the difference between Centralized wallets and Dec wallets? Days back I lost my coinbase account and the team aren't helping, I'm glad I only have little Bitcoin on the account, would have been a different story if I use coinomi or atomic wallet because they give users 💯 control over their funds, private keys and recovery seed are important, always remember that

Example of Centralized wallets
1. Coinbase
2. Nexo
3. Luno
4. Xapo
5. Freewallet

Any wallets that ask you create an account with mail and password is centralized, they monitor your private keys for you, be smart

Thanks for your warning, I am also holding Ripple in Coinbase and before, I quite believed on it and Blockchain.com. Maybe, it's time I should save my money in cold storage wallet
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: August 13, 2020, 06:35:39 AM
A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.

Dogecoin is one coin that I always hold in my wallet from I start to join in this market. In the beginning, I used it for trading between small exchanges together. And now, when Binance list it, it is easier for me to transfer my money to big exchanges with lowest fee
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: August 12, 2020, 11:20:11 AM
Hello, according to the website: blockchaincenter.net, these cryptocurrencies are most searched among cryptocurrencies:
1.  Bitcoin (80,8%)
2. Ethereum (14%)
3. XRP (8%) followed by Litecoin (4,7%), Bitcoin Cash (2,7%), IOTA (2,5%), Monero (2,1%), Tron (1,8%), Dogecoin (1,8%) and Cardano (1,5%).

They processed information based on Google Trends.

When you compare it with the market cap, then where is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, EOS or Binance Coin?  Shocked

I am quite surprise about Dogecoin, I don't think that it is also of much interest Smiley). One coin everyone thinks is useless but is increasingly climbing to the high position on ranking crypto
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: August 12, 2020, 11:03:34 AM
I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.

If you are a pro trader, you can earn money everytime and everywhere, it doesn't matter if the pandemic has happened or not. But you are a bounty hunter it is as a main job, I think that there are just members who have high ranks can maintain their life
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: August 12, 2020, 10:36:46 AM
I notice that when there the price is going up so many people are joining the train and they also buy because the price is going up and they are going to make a profit, why people are not buying when it is down when the price will eventually go up and they can make a lot of profit.  Huh

This is simple thing because when the market go down, you will not listen many news about market and invitement at that time will not be attractive people join in. Only really people who understand the market, they know that is good time to buy
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: August 11, 2020, 08:09:31 AM
In my opinion, Bounty is one of attractive sections that lead many people know Bitcointalk and also be a usefull playground for people that love cryptocurrency. They both share their information and knowledge and can earn additional income. There are scams everywhere, instead of avoiding it, let's live with it together and learn the way how to control it
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx or Eth ? on: August 11, 2020, 07:53:49 AM
Both of them have a lot of dapps and they could both go to the sky.
Vitalik and Justin work hard to make their coins better too so i am not sure which one could be better in the future. What do You think about this ?

We can not compare them together in term of theory, each of them all have their own pros and cons. The better system is not sure to be used more and vice versa. Now, ETH are proving to outperform Tronx in terms of the applicability of the Defi. But in the future, we can't predict that ETH can maintain its position as it is today or not?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention for bounty work on: August 08, 2020, 06:43:53 AM
Bounty is not a must on bitcointalk even if you look for work here. I see a lot of services offered and they do not talk about bounty. Coding, signature designs, and portraits are just some of them.

Yep, I agree with you, just not only bounty hunter which is job at here. When the market grow more than, there will be more jobs which involve to cryptocurrency and blockchain will be recruited right here.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: August 07, 2020, 09:07:25 AM
The title sound funny right. It is not news that the crypto market is booming now, I hope you are already putting every necessary things in place to maximize the state of the market now and the state to come. If you are yet to start investing in one or two promising project by now, it means you are still sleeping. Wake up and do something. I have seen a lot of post complaining about how they missed out of 2017, are you sure you are not going to miss out of this? Hmmmm.

The market are on the strong accumulation period, like a springs is about to blow up and the market will be extremely exciting in the future, I think it's even more explosive than 2017. If you really love this market, like this owner topic say, don't sleep anymore, buy and research more about this market before it's too late.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? on: August 07, 2020, 08:52:38 AM
More and more blockchain games choose EOS instead of ETH (and I believe it's the same with ICOs)

Hey crypto gamers! What do you prefer more?

example:
https://gameunculus.io/blog/94

In the future, when there are more Dapps run, platforms like as EOS, Tron, Stella will be used more. At that time, the competition will be fair between platforms just not focusing only Ethereum like now
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple’s $0.3 Sideways Action May End With a Huge Move (XRP Price Analysis) on: August 07, 2020, 08:39:43 AM
XRP saw a strong 23.5% increase this week as it climbed as high as $0.321.
The coin has dropped slightly as it trades at $0.30.
Against Bitcoin, XRP reached as high as 2800 SAT before falling into the 2555 SAT support
.

XRP/USD: XRP Bulls Find Resistance at Bearish .886 Fib Retracement

XRP saw a massive push this week as it surged above $0.3 to reach as high as $0.321 (bearish .886 Fib Retracement). More specifically, the bulls were unable to close above $0.31 (1.414 Fib Extension), which caused the coin to head into the $0.30 support today.

The price hike this week put XRP back onto the positive footing as it created a fresh 6-month high. It would now have to drop beneath $0.215 (200-days EMA) before being in danger of turning bearish again.

XRP-USD Short Term Price Prediction

Looking ahead, if the bulls push higher, the first level of resistance lies at $0.313 (1.414 Fib Extension). This is followed by resistance at $0.321 (bearish .886 Fib Retracement), $0.331 (1.618 Fib Extension), and $0.35.

On the other side, if the sellers break beneath $0.3, support lies at $0.291 (.236 Fib Retracement), $0.28, and $0.268 (.382 Fib Retracement). Additional support is found at $0.26 and $0.25.

The RSI has dropped slightly from overbought conditions as the buyers regroup for a breather. Additionally, the Stochastic RSI produced a bearish crossover signal that signals a brief retracement is on the way.

XRP-BTC Short Term Price Prediction

Moving forward, if the sellers push beneath 2560 SAT, the first level of support is located at 2434 SAT (.382 Fib Retracement & 100-days EMA). This is followed by support at 2333 SAT (.5 Fib Retracement) and 2250 SAT (200-days EMA).

On the other side, the first level of resistance lies at 2631 SAT (bearish .5 Fib Retracement). This is followed by resistance at 2700 SAT and 2800 SAT (bearish .618 Fib Retracement). Above this, added resistance lies at 2850 SAT, 2900 SAT, and 3000 SAT.

The RSI has dropped from overbought conditions but remains above the 50 line as the bulls are in control of the momentum. Likewise, the Stochastic RSI produced a bearish crossover signal, which would help to send the market lower.

Thank you for analysis about the price of Ripple. I invest Ripple on exchange and I am hesitant that I should sell it at now (around 0.3 USD) because I wait the stronger increase price from Ripple. I have bought Ripple from 0.25 USD to now.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes late bounties can still pay rewards on: August 06, 2020, 07:15:44 AM
the project you promote 2years back can still come up and give you awesome reward, delays takes place sometimes that makes project team keep postponing listing on exchanges,  imagine promoting a project in 2018 paid you big reward in 2020 after you've already zero your mind that it's over? I want bounty hunters in the house to verify this, true or false??

Anyways, do not underestimate projects you promote a year or two years ago, they can still pay up and secondly do not leave or exit their telegram channel no matter how many years it's been, if you do you might be denied of your rewards

I don't beleive this thing and have never seen projects like that before. They let us keep garbage and hope for a long time. I had experienced with some projects like this , so now I don't put too much emphasis on what I will be received anymore
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 06, 2020, 07:07:54 AM
Fake project is really frustrating if you're one of the victim especially for investors and bounty hunters.
I had read an interesting way to make sure the project is real. You can identify the project is fake by it's address of the company who is running IEO/ICO. Fake project would be indentify with this way because they put fake location. You can check it with google maps to verify if it's real.

So how do you indentify if the project is fake?

Using fake address just be right with small scam projects. There are many projects that they invest a whole marketing team and many other departments in a building with a clear address. But when they want to go, everything will disappear quickly
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do we really need stable coin? on: August 06, 2020, 06:57:55 AM
think if we should look back in 4 years back in cryptocurrency industry, crypto do very well to be stable in the price value, but is very difficult this days to see crypto that's actually valueable, not until we started seen stable coins in the crypto market but there's no change in the value, Do you think we need stable coins?

Stable coins act as intermediaries in this market as the way that USDT and other stable coins are doing and after in the future, maybe they will usually be used in daily life, replace to cash.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 05, 2020, 08:44:32 AM

What if, for example - like after that twitter hack - the President wakes up (in a bad mood) and decides with an executive order to make all crypto illegal in the USA?

Of course this probably will never happen in today's world, as the there is big money is invested into crypto currencies; but do you ever think that it is even remotely possible...

Or the next elected president is so "old school" and decides that crypto needs to go?

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?

I think it is very normal to issue a ban in individual countries, like China or some other countries. But their citizen still have many ways to trade and own crypto that they want , and when a whole host of countries in the world accept crypto, those countries can't be outside
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: August 05, 2020, 08:33:48 AM
I currently have my interest in airdrop and bounties but the truth remains that the payment rate for bounties and airdrop is reducing, blockchain holds great promise and I feel it's necessary that one start taking courses on programming, because i see Blockchain technology becoming a major additives for applications, its never too late to stay relevant.
Sure! I'm currently have interests in bounty campaigns also. However, it's true that there are too many problems with bounty campaigns right now. For example, no reward, scam, low reward rate, too many participants, etc. However, if you know how to choose  a good project to join, that can be beneficial to you. I'm seeing a lot of developers are fixing those errors in bounty by changing their way of doing bounty campaign.

It's hard to choose a good bounty projects to participate. Sometime, I had lost a lot of time to participate bad projects and don't receive anything. But long ago, I feel this job is an indispensable part in my life, like reading newspaper everyday. So now, I don't put too much emphasis on the rewards that I will receive anymore.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: August 05, 2020, 08:22:12 AM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it

When I decide to invest on those coins, you should just put an aim for short time when you have profit because those coins usually take to you more profit than Bitcoin. But if you determine to hold your money for long time and have the absolute safe , Bitcoin and Ethereum is the top choices.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: July 31, 2020, 08:26:50 AM
Some are coming back to join and invest again in cryptocurrency. The indicators were the growing market of  cryptocurrency may it be bitcoin or altcoins. Bitcoin and other altcoins had positively recover after some time when bitcoin was halving way back feb of 2019. I thought that bitcoin that time will be dead. However I was wrong and seeing now cryptocurrency still alive and kicking made me feel happy again.

I had now coming to a search again on which crypto could be good for investment and lead me to yahoo finance site on their listing of top 5 best crypto to invest with.

yahoo finance noted on the top 5 best crypto for investment. This is their list as follows:

1. bitcoin
2. ethereum
3. neo
4. eos
5. ripple

The basis were market capitalization and liquidity.
More of the stories here is the link

https://finance.yahoo.com/

Basically the choices were good and I guess many could agree with their list. Bitcoin is always good for the newbie in investing crypto so this would be the best choice. With regards to ethereum, I can't say anything about it but ethereum platform is next to bitcoin because its platform has been paired to new projects like ICO projects but most of ICO are scam. Neo is also good but in my case it is not available in exchanges or app that I am using same as neo. Ripple is available and one of the volatile crypto good for starters in trading crypto same as BCH.

Since I only used exchange to which being approved and given licensed from the government to operate and it influence my choice of crypto and come up with a different top list of good crypto to invest with. Here is my choice,

1. bitcoin 40%
2. ripple 30%
3. bch 30%
4. ethereum 10%

What do you think of this list?

I think percent capital that you invest on Ethereum is quite small, while I suppose that ETH is the most potential coin just after Bitcoin. I am investing in the following ratio:
 1. Bitcoin 50%
 2. Ethereum 30%
 3. Ripple 20%
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: July 31, 2020, 07:40:26 AM
Currently, USDT daily trading volume is over the Bitcoin trading volume and fourth highest market cap according to Coinmarketcap. My opinion is We can't trust the centralized stable coin to keep the money. Also, news around the USDT is not good, and it may be shut down by the authorities.

What is your opinion about the USDT coin?

I use the DAI to keep the stable value & will shift to the SAI in the near future where the money I'm not investing.

Any coin all has so many things around them including good or bad things and USDT is as well. You don't believe it but the vast majority of investors in this market still use it everyday despite many bad rumors
