63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mobcoin (MOB) - X11 PoW/PoS - Smooth launch! 19900 blocks to mine, get on it! on: November 28, 2014, 02:05:34 PM
it should be noted that not everyone can mine, so coin dumpers are actually good if they are not numbering the majority of the miners, as many just come and buy in early to get their coins and hold. though I would guess any number of coins possibly this one too, they will be kicking themselves in say 3 years when the coins they dumped for dollars end up being worth 100,000's of dollars LOL

bitcoin pizza anyone?

the fact that it is rising while all other coins are tanking is kinda odd, either something nefarious is afoot or else you are right and it is self correcting from those couple errors in judgement, I really hate the multipools for that very reason by the way. if they held and sold for the selling prices to get more money for the miners it would defeat some of the destruction they do to the market and the miners would get a bonus on their payback, so it would be win-win, but the multipool owners and miners are too short sighted for that.

this is more and more why I think these coins should be abandoned the second they are created and the github code is posted so the community can take over right from day one.

I hope the dev is ok.  Moon, looks like another promising coin, and I am looking at it as a means to let people pay for their stuff in a system I am planning now to launch, that allows 3D play, real world auctions and sales, a social network of sorts that is much more anon and controllable by the user, (mining the data will be nearly impossible at this point and I hope to keep it that way for as long as I can) and with a ton of things that will allow people to learn new things like electronic engineering and the like.  Already looking at allowing them to use Dogecoin  to do this, and if it all works out I can allow extraction of funds from the system too via the crypto of their choice (that is used by our system.)  I will be watching to see when the new site is launched, but the biggest problem I see with the link you provided is it showing as a virus, why is that? is the new source code available on git or some other opensource sharing platform for the code monkeys in our ranks to look it over? anyone had a chance to look it over? would love to hear back from those that have.

oh Whoops, sorry that was directed as a response to Winner's last message lol.

so why is the moon site down? is this an indication of it failing??? Sad

all that stuff needs to be updated....there is going to be an updated thread soon.

there is also a new website http://mooncoin.rocks

that site contains everything about mooncoin from wallets to regular news.

if so then why is the OP not updated with this new address? makes things kinda sketchy for me, since so many files are made to steal peoples coins.

the site is broken and keeps saying "error please no proxy" which I have never and am not using now. also it hangs and does nothing before this wasting a ton of time, which I am sure is sending anyone that used to use it away.

so this coin is dead or is there something going on that stops being able to update the blockchain?
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A few miners for sale on: October 24, 2014, 05:28:15 AM
yep and I can say having 5 of the GAW miners I really like them, but with them going up like they are, I am thinking of unloading all of them and consolidating on a single larger hash power miner with the extra earnings LOL.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: anyone know of a better pool for 42coin than HASHFASTER's ? pool down 23hrs & ct on: October 24, 2014, 01:59:23 AM
been on poolwarz a while now and not a single problem, been out of curiosity, checking the status of HashFaster and finding that even though Poolwarz has not been down ONCE, Hashfaster has been down several times and now that I am not telling them it is down, it has been down for over 30 hours this last time, kinda wondering how long that goes on since no one is complaining, showing they do not keep up with their own equipment at all or check in on things, and shows their lack of concern over other people losing out.

going to use my screen captures too of the orphans and everything else and do some block chain exploring and if I find someone is stealing coins I will definitely post here. Tired of people scamming.

heh anyone notice how the price went way down then started going back up, ? just wondering if anyone has any clue as to why they did this, (been a reoccurring pattern I have noticed)
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A few miners for sale on: October 23, 2014, 08:29:28 AM
30 bucks total in all ? wow I hope you did not go for that, hit up ebay, you will get more than that per unit of the GAW miners at least lol.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Hashfaster is once again down on: October 18, 2014, 06:02:59 PM
and no replies ever to the messages I have sent, no not one.

As soon as I see it I disconnect from a pool, and I am thinking I am going to set up a protocol for myself where if I see it down more than 3 times in a week and I get zero response from the pool team, then I am just going to stop mining there, and take my hash else where, and let people know when I find a better pool. Right now? poolwarz.

man you can not make it too good of an exchange, if you do I will have to do all that work to find a new pet name for the site LOLOL
78  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CRAPTSY GETTING READY TO GOX US? on: October 18, 2014, 02:14:18 AM
good to hear that you think you have things solved, but in the future you might consider some scheduled downtime in advance, and then go ahead and do scheduled upgrades to handle this stuff, or better yet have a redundant system that allows you to do hot swap upgrades and increase your network. just some ideas as this is what I would be doing.
79  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CRAPTSY GETTING READY TO GOX US? on: October 17, 2014, 07:29:54 PM
lol at all, and yes we do accept the risks, I have most of mine on a site that is and has been much more stable, thankfully but as I get more coins I am definitely cold storaging a large amount of it and being a bear as to what I am willing to hazard on these sites, may have to work on both a coin, and an exchange, and possibly a pool of my own so I can either be personally responsible for things, or can at least box the ears of anyone that is responsible if they drop the ball lolol.

**EDIT**
the reason there is no info in my above post is that others have beat me to most of the info I was going to mention, basically just more assurances while the site is still down and we can not make any money off trading, which is typical when a spike or a dip is on us and we could be making money, that the site be down, just glad that the other site I am on is not experiencing any difficulties
