I was very excited when I saw the release of this coin. I have been making music in some form for about 18 years. I went through my old compositions and made a music coin account here: https://musicoin.org/nav/artist/0xdc79c328dc1514d4bc8f23b94f8156c251570b9a
This makes me want to jump back into sound engineering and busting out the old guitar!

When will we see this coin on Cryptopia?

Cryptopia is extremely expensive to have a coin listed. Upwards of almost 3 btc. His coin is still in its infancy and needs time to grow thus allowing it to be listed on multiple exchanges.

Hey guys after running my miner for like 1-2 hours (sometimes less sometimes more) I get this problem :

WATCHDOG: GPU 5 hangs in OpenCL call , please restart the miner Sad

It's always the GPU 5 . Im running 6 Rx 580 8GB MSI Gaming with this codes :

"-cclock 1150 -mclock 2150 -cvddc 900 -mvddc 850 -dcri 16 -wd 0"

Any fix for this ? At the begging this was running 24/7 for atleast 1 week without any problem.

Thanks !

I had tha problem a few weeks ago. It seemed it was claymores miner getting wrong temps with radeon wattman and my -tt -fanmax settings were getting screwed up. I stipped using wattman process, took out my -tt -fanmin -fanmax settings in bat file and controlled fan speed with msi afterburner. Fixed the problem for me

Just for reference. I am running 2x MSI Radeon R9 390 8gb Gaming cards stock at 1040/1500 getting a total of 780 sols. Power draw per card seems to be around 190 with a 220 spike.

Hello Claymore.

I am using Dual Eth miner on my Linux servers to mine for Nicehash. Nicehash offers API which I use to find out what coin is most profitable to mine. Sometimes it is ethereum, sometimes it is not. My problem with your software is that when I stop mining other algo and I start mining Ethereum using your software, there is a big delay until your software starts actually mining. It does something for preparation, I do not know what it is, perhaps generating some DAG, or some other things. Anyway, my rigs are effectively making zero profit during the initialization of your miner, which can be 30 seconds or even more.

Would it be possible to implement something into your miner to allow it to start mining faster? I would suggest maybe two solutions, but I am sure you may came up with even better one. My proposed solutions are:

1) if there is a need to prepare something on miner startup, would it be possible to implement some commandline parameter, which would cause generating of the initial data only once, on the first run, and store it on disk, so it could be reused from disk later?

2) alternative solution, if the idea with temp data files on disk doesn't work, would it be possible to, for example, implement a command line parameter for your miner, which would specify a path to file to execute, after your miner knows it is ready to start mining? This way, I would keep my previous mining software running, then I would launch your miner in parallel, and your miner would execute my custom script just before it starts mining, and this executed script would simply kill the previous miner. So this way it would at least continue mining the previous algo during your miner initializes.

All of this may seem complicated, so perhaps if you know a better solution how to make your miner start faster (ideal is immediate), then it will be greately appreciated.

Thank you

Its loading epoch. Did you read through his readme? All miners have some load time, this is 2017, not 2170

MSI R9 390X
connected directly on pcie 16 slot, undeclocked, overvolted. Only below 1000 MHz (1080 stock) and over +35 mV i get any kind of stability (hour or two)

Keep getting GPU 1 hangs in OpenCL call error.
Windows says "Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to unexpected system failure".

Current drivers 17.1.1, this hapened with 15.12 too.

Furmark QHD + 4x MSAA crashes when reaches around 40% of the test.

Is this card candidate for rma?
Anyone had anything similar happen?

Rest of the rig works fine no matter the driver version.

Need help.

I use Crimson for clocks and msi afterburner for fans. Fixed my opencl issue I was having for a week.

Does anyone have better performance on old version of AMD drivers than the latest ones? Or is that a thing of the past?

Did you set radeon settings to performance rather than balanced? Balanced setting will screw with multiple cards. Did you lower intensity in crimson? Not all cards are made the same, even if its the same card. Also, did you purchase new from store or used? Someone could have modded the bios and thats why you read them differently at "stock" settings

Actually I uninstalled all those settings and only the driver remains... Maybe I should do a clean reinstall. Do most people just install drivers or the whole package with Wattool, Settings, etc...? All of my cards are new.

Do a clean uninstall with ddu, reinstall latest crimson. You dont need ReLive part of crimson install. Once its done and restarted, Right click the little crimson tray icon to make sure its set to performance. You could flash your bios, not sure what settings you want with your cards (make sure you save original bios rom though) or just try to lower intensity on core clock and up memory clock with wattman.

I am having trouble with the gpu hanging at random intervals forcing me to reboot to release it.  Longest it runs is 6 hrs before it hangs. Sometimes it is as soon as 1 hr.

system specs:
AMD FX-8320E
Ram 24GB
GPU: MSI Red Devil RX-480 4GB @ factory O/C settings
OS: win 8.1
display drivers: 16.12.2 (note: need this version for equihash miner to work)

bat file:
set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool exp.suprnova.cc:3332 -ewal name.x-1 -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins exp -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal name.R-1 -dpsw x -mode 0 -tt 1 -ttli 80 -tstop 90 -fanmax 100 -dcri 30

miner version is 9.5

Temp stays around 75 and fan gets up to 35%

Ethash is 24M  and dcr is getting ~735M

any suggestions on what to change to prevent hanging?

I was having the same problem and i tried everything i could think of, reinstalling windows, different psu, reseating everything, different risers, different settings and I may have found what was causing it. The -tt setting coupled with -fanmin and -fanmax wasnt registering or would only work for a little while. I got rid of those options and set my fans to 75% in msi afterburner. Seems to have fixed opencl hang and temp errors.

Hi, guys!
How many incorrect ETH shares are considered normal in dual mining mode?
I am getting from 0.3% to 1.3% incorrect shares with ETH (ethi 16) + DCR (dcri 20-30) with my RX480. In solo mining mode - from 0.1% to 0.5% incorrect ETH shares.
What are your results?

I find that dcri 16 works well with sia dual mining and dcri 24 works well with dec with my rx480 8gb cards, keeps my eth hashrate around 26-28 which is what i like.

Anyone have big drop eth speed when mining eth+dcr with 9.5?

Yes. Me! Why? With eth-sia too. Genoil miner shows my 3 cards hashing at 80mhs where as claymores show just over 35mh TOTAL. Whats the deal?

You need to lower dcri.

Dcri 16 worked before, why not now?

Ay why is claymore miner broken? Im getting 17mh/s per card but in genoli im getting 29mh/s per card. Whats the dealio? Claymore has run fine for a long time but now all of a sudden its hashing low and crashing?
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 25, 2017, 02:41:31 AM
Ok.
Ive been running every version of Claymore since 9.2
I had 2 RX 480 8gb ref cards running non stop for a couple months. Then I added an xfx hard swap rx 480 8gb and a powercolor red dragon rx 580 8gb with powered risers. I would mine fine for about 8 hours before crashing. Using these settings for all cards:
-16% Core Intensity @910mV
2200MHz @920mV

My bat file looks like this:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x7CB5eA7Dc754Da82B49b4E8ac06639b5AB4c4797.Ajek -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://siamining.com:7777 -dwal b2057104a7ce21ea0e9d38783a48c425884fc40df7ca320c85f96d6c34aa414b57e3ef7684bc.ca rbonjawed -dcoin sia -tt 70,70,70 -fanmax 95,95,95 -fanmin 65,65,65

I have been tweeking settings for the passed week, Ive unplugged, cleaned, reseated everything, Ive DDU'd several times, I took out the RX 580 and Ive changed my risers but now I cant mine for more than 30 seconds before it crashes my system. Ive tried -gser -eres -r functions -wd 0 and now I get no MH on one of my cards and Claymore will crash. Not even opencl hang ups anymore just crash. I just finally modded my bios and still getting nothing on that card. Im at my wits end. Do you think maybe one of my pci-e ports is fried? Would a dead card still register in system and wattman but not work? Someone please help. Here are my system specs:

Win7 x64
MSI 970A‑G43
AMD Athlon II X4
32GB DDR3 RAM
2TB SATA HDD
XFX Hard Swap RX 480 8GB
VisionTek RX 480 8GB Reference
XFX Reference RX 480 8GB
Crimson 17.6.2

Think I finally have a good setup with the rx 580 8gb without modding the bios.

In Wattman im at -16.5% intensity with states 6 and 7 mv at 910 and 929
Memory clock at 2200mhz with a mV at 875.
Been hashing at 27mhs for almost 12 hours now.

Smiley

What memory your gpu have??

Samsung Memory

Nevermind. Crashed just after 12 hours. Angry
Volted memory to 879 now. Lets wait again

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / POWERCOLOR RX 580 8GB Problems. Wattman settings? on: June 19, 2017, 11:10:54 PM
Howdy all!
Currently I have a problem with the rx 580 8gb card in ethereum/sia mining. My rig will run for 8 hours at a time before crashing/restarting my PC. Here are some specs:

Win7 x64
MSI 970A‑G43
AMD Athlon II x4 630 @2.80GHz
32GB DDR3 RAM
2TB SATA HDD

Crimson ReLive 17.6.2 drivers
XFX Hard Swap Radeon RX 480 8gb
XFX AMD Radeon RX 480 8gb
VisionTek OC Edition RX 480 8gb
Powercolor RX 580 8gb

I have all cards set, in Wattman, to
GPU @ -16.5% Intensity
State 6 @ 910mv
State 7 @ 929mv

Memory @ 2200mhz
State 2 @920mv for the RX 480's
State 3 @930mv for the RX 580

Im getting 27mh/s across the board but after 8 hours of mining my PC restarts. Ive been running the 480's fine for months so I know its the 580 crashing. Ive tried some tweeking but every 8 hours my PC will still crash.

Does anyone have Wattman settings for the rx 580 8gb? Im trying to find that sweet spot but its a pain having to wait 8 hours every time to see if it crashes.
Newest 580 settings are at stock mV for core clock @ -16.5% intensity with auto/stock mV @ 2150 for memory. Its been 2 hours........
