61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: August 17, 2018, 04:40:09 PM
It's true that I've been in projects that don't even appear in the exchanges at the end, so I'm left with a lot of useless tokens in the wallet, but those that are really worthwhile, are excellent, and it's important to invest in them, we can't lose faith in the ICOs, since many solve real problems that many people may be facing, for me that's very important, now the ICOs have to solve a real problem, it's not enough to want to raise funds, that's a thing of the past.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top cryptocurrencies in August 2018 on: August 16, 2018, 09:12:08 PM
I like the list, although a little conservative, they are practically the top 11 of coinmarketcap, bitcoin is always a good investment, at any price, because until now it has always recovered, of those currencies mentioned, I would stay with ETH, because I like a useful currency and a good platform, although people are losing faith I still consider it a good investment, I also consider it a good investment, I am very interested in ripple too, I see it as the future of transactions and many banks are putting their trust in them.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: August 16, 2018, 08:34:17 PM
I think it will depend in how much time they hodl the token, if they only dump at the end of the bounty I don't think they are investors, or at least not committed, many seem to be a contractor worker, come do the marketing work, help a little the ICO and when they get paid they leave, the investors are the ones who stay because they like the project and believe in it, many only care about receiving the token and that's it, of course, they will have their reasons, but that's the way things are.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: August 16, 2018, 07:29:52 PM
I think we all should be educated investors, we can't just put our money into the ICO with the best buzzwords and flashier websites, we have to investigate the projects thoroughly, I know it can be tedious, but it's worse to lose your money on a very obvious scam just because you didn't spend some time analyzing if the ICO you put money into is really worth it.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: August 15, 2018, 08:17:30 PM
I think it depends on how much you bought and at what price, if you bought at ATH any time is a good time to sell, because it will hardly reach those prices soon, maybe in December again and i'm being hopeful, it is always good to ask yourself why you are here? if it is purely for money then try to sell until you feel comfortable or have enough to cover your expenses, but remember that this is a long-term market and we are all here for the future.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: August 15, 2018, 06:08:33 PM
I'm still fairly confident in ETH in the long term and i think it's a much better bet than BTC. I think its developers understand the nature of the society in which they're trying to succeed far more than most of the BTC crowd. I think once people realize what PoS actually means vs. PoW, they're going to embrace it in a big way. I think ETH is gonna do well (maybe not to-the-moon well, but it will prove to be a decent investment in the long term).

Right now, though, I don't feel all that great about it or crypto in general, and I suspect things are gonna get worse before they get better.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is the best investment way for altcoin ? on: August 14, 2018, 06:13:41 PM
Just my personal take. If you buy low sell high there are still plenty of opportunities to make money. Take profit when you can, don't put in money you are not willing to lose and be realistic. While you might not be making 2000% in a week given the current market, even a few percents a month in gains is not bad at all. Ask yourself is the reward worth the risk and volatility of crypto. Are you ok with more realistic short-term movement or do you want to hold for a later date? Point is that even in shit markets, someone is always making money and someone is always losing money. That's true with every market and more into one as volatile and unregulated as this one.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO DO A SIGNATURE BOUNTY on: August 14, 2018, 05:36:45 PM
It is quite simple, although many campaigns have specific rules, some require reports and others require personal data that not everyone is comfortable providing, the main thing is to have a wallet in the tokens offered by the ICO, either their own tokens usually you get it on their website, or some token compatible with EC-20 tokens that you can get them on sites like MEW, but be careful because they are usually victims of phishing and you can fall there, after filling out their form, you put your signature on account information and you are ready to post .
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS ICO SCAM 👺👺👺 Wow! Can you believe this? 👺👺👺 on: August 13, 2018, 11:23:45 PM
I can’t really speak for anyone, but the way I understand there are two main points of contention. 1 - premine aka ico and distribution rather than a pow mine from 0 2 - Dan has started and not exactly finished, or at the very least - in many people’s eyes - not seen his previous projects to the end, sometimes things seem to be a little bit of an over-hype, money grab and move on kinds of situations. I think he’s developed decent stuff, and he’s definitely smart and capable, but it’s hard for me not to share the opinion on point 2. In the end, it's a scam? Maybe it's hard to set limits on this unregulated market, it could simply have been overhyping with the intention of obtaining investors.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope? Can we still make a bigger profit from altcoins this year? on: August 13, 2018, 11:01:09 PM
the price of bitcoin and ETH may have been hit in recent months, but there are always currencies that emerge victorious in those crises, ideally you should analyze the coinmarketcap and see which currencies are holding or even rising, I assure you that there are more than one floating for different reasons, these are the currencies you have to investigate if you want to make a profits.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why is the crypto market down day after day? on: August 13, 2018, 09:57:30 PM
I think that in part it is a little bit to the FUD that I see with many new investors who think that this is over, that there is nothing else to take advantage of, many expected profits x10 in months and when they saw that this was not fulfilled they decided to withdraw their money from the market, maybe that type of investment does not do the ecosystem any favor and we are better off this way, with a low but stable price.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: August 12, 2018, 07:23:42 PM
I find that in people’s pride, they don’t want to sell. They’ve been saying HODL, and don’t want to relent. But at some point they’ll jump. I was a long time holder but even I pulled out to see what will happen (for what it’s worth, it was an enormous sigh of relief). I told my wife if it hits a certain value, I’ll go back in. Too much risk, too much speculation, too much global uncertainty. I love the technology and it’s here to stay, but I wasn’t willing to lose my initial substantial investment.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart money is buying cheap ALTs like Cardano! on: August 12, 2018, 06:46:03 PM
Although I consider that ADA has a lot of potentials, I still prefer alts like RIPPLE, ETH or NEO, the first thing for anyone is to have a portfolio based on these currencies, throw there some bitcoin to ensure the investment, after having about 70% of your portfolio with these currencies you can start to have more risky investments as Cardano, req or ven, that would make a mixed investment of high and low risk with different rewards.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bank and crypto industry unite or be linked? on: August 11, 2018, 10:35:33 PM
Well we can see an intermediate model, which I think is what Ripple is doing, doing business and partnering with different institutions to offer services that please both audiences, I think in the end it's going to have to be something similar, because otherwise the banks will start to block the accounts of people who are working with cryptos and that would really be a problem, because it would be a disadvantage to the people working with cryptocurrencies and I think we already have enough inconveniences.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: August 11, 2018, 09:01:58 PM
I believe that this is the fault of the over-saturation of the market, there are too many bounty hunters now and the ICOs are very permissive with the number of participants they accept, I believe that all the ICOs should have a limit of vacancies so that we could all take advantage of the different campaigns that there are and the reward, the truth is I don't know what the bounties were like last year but everyone said that they gave more rewards, also last year the market was going up exponentially.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto money will kill fake money on: August 10, 2018, 08:22:32 PM
no system is infallible and cryptos also have a lot of bugs, you may not be able to fake them for now, but they can be hacked and lost easily if the user is not careful, I don't think BTC will replace fiat at any time soon, what I think is going to happen is a union to have the best of both, in the end I don't think bitcoin is intended to replace fiat,Is just here to streamline and improve processes already established
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: August 09, 2018, 10:27:16 PM
Although a lot of ICOs are scams, I'm one of those who believes that there are still business opportunities here, you always have to be guided by the product, not by what the developers promise, it's better to invest in an ICO in which the token has a good utility in the real world, and also try to make it something innovative and revolutionary, it's quite difficult to find an ICO like that, but they do exist.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many altcoins on: August 09, 2018, 06:53:09 PM
Although I believe that the market is over-saturated, I also believe that the variety is good for diversifying the economy, many altcoins do different things, but it is true that we have up to 5 altcoins doing the same job, but there will be no problem, because as always the market will regularize itself and only the best alts will survive.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or litecoin ? on: August 08, 2018, 08:11:52 PM
Just talking about spread and adaptation, Btc has only 21 million units. Psychologically speaking people are not comfortable working in small decimals. I see bitcoin becoming something you store your wealth in or buy a yacht/house with etc litecoin I see being used for buying maybe a car with or smaller things but still relatively large.

There are just not enough coins in the world. I know people like to repeat that you can buy a fraction of a bitcoin but this just won’t work for everyday life because of the aforementioned reason. I believe bitcoin and litecoin will live side by side with maybe a third coin with a much larger circulating supply filling the everyday needs. But this, of course, would be the day that crypto money is accepted en masse.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: August 08, 2018, 06:33:26 PM
I think the best advice I can give you is to be patient, many ICOs are scams yes, but there are also many worthwhile and those are the ones we have to try to invest or participate, getting those promised ICOs is quite complicated because you have to do a lot of research and have the experience to filter them, so far the ICO kartblock goes great, if it continues like this I will buy tokens when It  goes to the exchange
