62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did people buy bitcoin and other cryptos back in the old days? on: March 22, 2021, 08:08:19 PM
When BTC was just launched in 2009, it wasn’t popular so no one bother about how to buy it. Some people mined it for fun, all those who mined it thought they have some kind of shit money they can use nowhere. Really, when first miners got possibility to buy pizza or coffee per a lot of BTC they thought they were lucky to get rid of their shit digital currency. At the time, almost no one expected that BTC would one day be pumped up to even $10 rather than $100 and furthermore, hardly a lot of people expected that BTC could one day reach $60 000.
63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: March 22, 2021, 07:42:14 PM
Experience has shown that 90% of gamblers can’t stop and lose all their assets in on-line gambling as well as in real casino. I like very much film “Wild card”. You can see there how the very skillful and cool dude in one moment had lost everything because of one wrong card. It’s only a film but the reality is very similar. Trading crypto is different. If trader invest in several reliable assets, make/cancel different limit-orders the risk to lose money is minimum because of volatility of crypto. One day it will pump investor need just to catch right time.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: March 22, 2021, 07:27:50 PM
Everything is easy: continue don’t to use crypto in your business. More risky and wealthy companies such as Tesla, Microstrategy, Galaxy Digital and a lot of others had invested in BTC huge money and hold it to make profit. Volatility of cryptocurrencies brings them (and to all the traders as well) benefit so there is no practical need in making crypto stable.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sources of information on: March 22, 2021, 07:14:28 PM
You can also find a lot of useful information in crypto exchanges. For instance here is a link on Binance page: https://www.binance.com/en/support where you can read tutorials, announcements, lots of info about spot and margin trading, p2p, security, terms of use, ect.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 22, 2021, 07:03:26 PM
For a trader 50$ start-up capital is a very small amount. It will take a lot of time for him to make a good profit from this money, so it’s better to invest more. When I just started trading my start-up capital was 2000$ and it took me for more than half a year of day by day trading to managed to double them. That is how unskillful newbie traders usually trade. In fact, more unlucky newbie traders lose everything.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2021 on: March 22, 2021, 06:55:59 PM
I think that soon they will disqualify the participant from Georgia. He recently wrote this post

Quote
It's sad that there is such a reality, when we have to use this shit show Eurovision to promote a song," the musician wrote. - I'll leave it here and your right to watch the music video or not, but if anyone says something negative about the performance - I'll fuck (rape) your mother. Thanks to everyone who is on my side."

Refs and star players have big impact in the game, so if they'll rig the game it could give a big impact to a certain sport.

I don't think the star players are involved in corruption. The top athletes have very good contacts and earn a lot. Besides, they have contracts with big brands. I don't think they would risk everything for a few hundred thousand dollars. After all, if they were found out that they were involved in corruption, they would lose everything they have.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 22, 2021, 06:08:30 PM
Though not everyone is involve but as long as there's one person in a team that will do the corruption, it already has a huge effect especially for the bettors. Imagine, the 0.5 difference in sports betting could case a huge loss already for the bettors, that if a player will intentionally achieve a certain number to hit a certain point spread or even the totals.

Refs and star players have big impact in the game, so if they'll rig the game it could give a big impact to a certain sport.

It seems to me that we are growing because there is some manipulation of the markets. The main players in the economy are the U.S. and China. China was very quick to deal with the pandemic. The American government invested a lot of money in stabilizing the economic situation and they also gave money to ordinary people, which in turn helped some people, and some people invested their money in stocks and cryptocurrencies.

And as for betting, people always bet even in such difficult times.

An Interview with Andreas M. Antonopoulos regarding 51% attacks on Bitcoin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w-Q2GOZJSQ

73  Local / Oбcyждeниe Bitcoin / Re: Реклама биткойна знаменитостями. on: March 21, 2021, 09:10:06 PM

74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 21, 2021, 08:51:50 PM
I'm betting on English clubs to win UEFA Europa League this year. See Arsenal in semi final, Slavia Prag is easy opponent for them. They have nothing in league so winning UEFA Europa League will get them a Champions League qualification ticket.
Manchester United can eliminate Granada, this is one of regular clubs in Spain. It's not as hard as Sevilla or Valencia. Manchester United is waaaaay better than Granada. Easy semi final for English clubs.
You are right, EPL teams will play against relatively easy opponents. Slavia Praha and Granada are not strong opponents. Arsenal and Manchester United will win easily. But the other two matches, Axax vs Roma is a very strong team. It will be a very exciting and competitive match. Dinamo Zagreb and Villareal are two teams of almost the same quality. This match will also be very exciting.

I also think that some English club will win the Europa League. Still, it turned out that it was an average club and a very strong one. The British clubs have a better chance to win because they have a stronger championship and more intensity in the game. Although, as we saw Dinamo Zagreb did not prevent the great intensity of Tottenham to win it. They are far behind and I am not sure that they will pass Villarreal. However, anything can happen.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 21, 2021, 08:36:34 PM
But we can still play gambling by using altcoin, which I am sure will not too expensive compare to bitcoin.

That's the same if that money is coming from your signature campaign earning, altcoins could also rise and in fact, ETH and BNB has pumped a lot also, especially BNB which surprised us this bull run with a higher percentage of increase compared to bitcoin.

Last year and this year were very strange in a good way. There was a lot of growth in cryptocurrencies. But if you look at it, absolutely everything was growing. Stocks were also giving too high percentages of profits. Take Tesla, for example, its shares are going up all the time. And shares of other companies are going up as well. But after that growth there is always a drop.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 21, 2021, 08:07:51 PM

Louder. Corruption is a thing, and will continue to be a thing yes, but removing it from the scene, even if temporarily,  is still a huge benefit to everyone in that scene. Sides, you can't exactly expect for only a single group to eradicate corruption in a group/scene for all eternity right? They'd have to commit mass genocide for that to even work. Maybe if we were to ignore a person's privacy rights and let everything be publicly reflected, it could be reduced to the minimum, but in the end, it still needs to have that central figure that wouldn't allow corruption.

No one person can control everything. In sports, as everywhere else, there are a lot of people working. Even if the head is not involved in corruption, it does not mean that his subordinates will not be involved. It seems to me that corruption is a thing that is inevitable. At least as long as people will make the decision. Or it is necessary to build a maximum vertical of power to minimize it, but even then it will not disappear.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on: March 21, 2021, 07:52:48 PM
Being emotionless would really be removing out the true essence of excitement when you do gamble but i do understand on some bettors to be on that way because of aiming on making profits
and not really totally minding about on the enjoyment or thrill that they could obtain on making out bets. Some doesnt care as long they do enjoy and that whats more important.
Strategy is always been a common thing and would differ on each of everyone..Betting on other sports without knowledge on it? Im not really that much of
interested with that because i dont really feel up the thrill and excitement but for others then this isnt an issue.

Probably first you need to define for yourself why you are betting. If you do it for pleasure and emotion, you need to understand that you are likely to lose in most cases. Because you will bet irrationally. If you want to make money on the betting, which is very difficult to do. Then you need to abstract away from the sport on which you bet. Follow it, but don't get carried away with it.
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: March 21, 2021, 09:49:43 AM
Trading cryptos may help a nation tackle unemployment however how passionate are the unemployed who wanted to learn trading as their main source of livelihood ? we aware that trading is not an easy job, its requires high skills and expertise encouraging unmotivated and uninterested individuals to trading cryptos in the name of creating jobs may amount to losing huge sums of invested capital rather it should left to those who are serious and eager to learn trading.

That’s what I've also thought about. Trading crypto can become a good job only to the small amount of the unemployed; others in trading passion can lose everything they have. Nevertheless in this world nothing is impossible to clever people that intend to develop themselves.
