Do you know how your account was hacked? My password and email was changed at a similar time, and I haven't logged in for a long time.
Also, my password is secure. Imho seems like there is a security issue with the forum in general?
I think it's a security issue too, because I saw quite a few accounts hacked by the same IP address. Password and email changed too. This is the address, 78.26.198.233. My email was changed to a YopMail email. This forum software is 10 years old so no surprise if it's a security issue. Lol, This happened because of the following reasons, - OP used his/her password somewhere else the one he used for his BCT account. - He got phished or social engineered. - He got rekt by RAT. I don't think there's anything else to happen, correct me if I'm wrong. I mean, that's the higher possibility, but this forum is anything, BUT secure. 2FA would've helped, email change confirmation would've helped. The software is 10 years old and yeah, maybe it's been upgraded, but this wouldn't be the first hack that happened to it, there are a few big ones that are public information. |

How to sign my Bitcoin Address?
I would like to do it in order to keep my account safely and for later use in the worst case when I lose control on my account.

Well, this is depressing.
The only thing you can do is - keep bumping the topic after every 24 hours and hope an admin/mod notice it and unlock it. There are no such time frame unfortunately. Good luck mate. Thanks mate. |

Provide the information that has been suggested by trapatalce, and any other information that you think is relevant. Although, I would only try to include essential information to avoid it getting drowned out by useless information. Be prepared to wait for a very long time as there seems to be a massive backlog of lost/hacked accounts.
They should have more people working on this. |

You need to provide a signed message from an address you have posted somewhere as per this post. I recently dealt with this, check out my recently created topics if you want more help. Plenty of good people helped me. |

I've posted my ETH Address here. Should I try signing it? That post in only a couple months old, it probably won't be accepted as proof. I just looked through all my posts, there isn't another one. I will surely cry if I don't get it back, 392 days and 750++ posts.. |

No 2FA, email and password change without email verification..
I am fairly familiar however like you, we all are also wondering about all these. We discussed about all these in various topics, several times. Have a look... I guess it's not a priority for theymos at the moment. Maybe he doesn't have enough time or something else, but I think there's a lot of people that would love to work on this forum. I think you're one of those people. |

my account was hacked but I was able to click on the link to lock my account, which is a problem for me how to get back my account  , and how my status account now will admin restore that account to the final data before the mail and password change and send me a new password ?   If you've not locked your account, yopmail allows you to open any email registered with that domain, just use the forget password option and open the email on yopmail and then reset the email. On another note, the same IP Address hacked me and a few other people. |

You have a very cruel sense of humor. Those who have lost bitcoins, it is not funny. They're upset. So what do they need to go to McDuck to work now ? There's lots of people throwing this kind of memes around. Not everyone is depressed about it. |

I suggestion is, you want to read this topic: Email security notificationsThere are some useful comments under the topic as well. Do read them too. The topic creator is theymos himself (the admin). Sure, but this does not add to security and changing the email without a confirmation from the old email is not secure. |

I also got hacked a few days ago and from the same IP(78.26.198.233). I just hope the admins are fast to recover my account.

How does a McDonald's logo on hat applies here? How it shows the sentiment of being poor? Is it like after investing all your fortune in bitcoin at peak price, you now lost all your saving and you have to work in mc donald's outlet to survive? Found bit confusing but price is pretty high..Is it your design? I'm in a group with friends and we got this joke going on, decided to put it on a shirt. Invested at 20k and now we're at lots of loss, not all of us did this, but it also reflects on alts and we all have some losses. |
