61  Economy / Securities / Re: [AUTOTRADE]BTC hedge fund by BtcAutoTrader(The first automated BTC hedge fund) on: February 06, 2014, 03:21:02 PM
I hate to point out the obvious here. Without BtcAutotrader disclosing its wallet address there is no way in knowing whether they aren't just paying dividends straight out of other peoples investments (that's what I would do). With the amount of capital raised they could keep doing this for the foreseeable future and still make a nice early retirement.

...and?

And the whole thing could be a big Ponzi-scheme and noone would know until it blows up. There is no evidence of actual trading being done to fund dividends instead of dividends being paid out with investor money.

Well yeah.  This is Bitcoin Securities, Ponzis are the pinnacle of excellence here.  That means the issuer will give back a portion of your coin before pulling a runner.

It's great that you running ads, but imo thats something you do after you have a nice website.
It's probably not a good idea to get people hyped with tv spots when you can't deliver something that keeps them hyped after googling your product.

TV spots foster enthusiasm and buoy up investor confidence.  If a forum post generates millions in investor money, think what TV can do!
NeoBee -- you children can dance to it while it saves you money! <-can someone offer a Greek translation?

@utens:  not sure how i feel about the "flea in the ear" thing...

KnC is using 4 dies in one package, so our chip is very close to what they have done.  Our chip with 4 dies would be 120 GH/s.  We are working on increasing the number of cores.

Ken,

How many die would you package per chip and how many chips per board? Die Size?

Over 9000!  Die size: ~wafer size/9000 Cool

Quote
Do we know estimated power requirements yet for the 28nm @ 30GH/s.

98% of total draw power, with Intelliwatt(tm) set to "Max Money" Cool

If you say you are considering leaping to 20nm; what gains do you anticipate from this and at what costs (NRE, time, etc). Help us to understand your thoughts; don't leave people assuming that you aren't fully considering everything in your analysis.
...

28nm = moar profit.  Ken is your captain.  FUD-spreading amongst the rank and file will not be tolerated.  Cool
66  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 06, 2014, 02:18:56 PM
IMO, if the 20nm can absolutely positively be online WELL before the 55nm stuff is useless, with room for error...

Ken should skip 20nm and go straight to 14nm.
Paydirt! Cheesy
67  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] Mintspare (MS) Bitcoin Electronic Trade-in Service - Official Thread on: February 06, 2014, 02:00:57 PM
...But I thought it was a shame, to see successful fund-raisers on kickstarter who give 0% equity, then seeing this great concept getting blasted for giving 20%.

That's because people *donate* money to Kickstarter projects.  Just like they do to a bum, Salvation Army or the guy playing slide dobro on the subway.  The Florida d00d passes this off as an investment.  If he billed this absurdity as performance art, fewer people would laugh.  As it stands, he's selling illegal, unregistered securities through an unlicenced Panamanian exchange.

Sure, I know you see unregulated exchanges as your ninja way of sticking it to Da Man.  Sadly, each time someone (predictably) loses an eye, bitcoin "investors" turn staunchly law-abiding, quoting the same chapter and verse they laughed at just days ago.
...only to learn that nanny state is neither eager nor able to make their fuckups all better.  The press points fingers and laughs.

Quote
There's another reason one would profit for investing with Mintspare: it will give visibility to Bitcoin, and ...

Bitcoin has enough scams and dumbass ventures.  We don't need another idiot child losing/making off with your coin.
I'm not here with misguided altruistic designs to save you from yourself.  I am doing this for purely selfish reasons.  The media paints us with broad strokes; if i don't want rats scurrying in front of my house, i have to make sure my neighbor isn't breeding them next door.
thx

[15:05] <xxx> So ken seems to be logging in every so often and selling down to .0005

Let's see if financial wizards will keep buying > .0005 Smiley

equip - please don't quote the Trolls, if you do you will be ignored also. This one has just posted under one name (mainline) and mistakenly answered under another (eduardo) - it is the same guy. Thanks.

My idiot friend:  EduardoDeCastro account was made for you - you insisted that I was Eduardo de Castro of HashFast.
Got to keep tinfoilers happy, amiright?

72  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 04, 2014, 09:55:01 PM
If Ken was an honest guy, people should expect to get .0025 in dividends for their .0005 investment, or 500% ROI*.  But people aren't buying Ken's stories, that's why they're not buying his shares.
Actually they bought 57000+ shares last 24 hours.

Sure, there are pro financiers here who are convinced that a 20-fold price drop means "awesome deal."
Mistakes happen.

With 20 or 30 shares selling at 0.01BTC over 2 weeks it doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine the price was too high...

Nor does it take a rocket scientist to tell that .0005 is way too high, but someone bought.  I guess it's not just rocket scientists who "invest" in this failscam Undecided

At current BTC prices people will get 100% ROI on the purchase price within the first month of mining. $0.1/share mining revenue...

1.  BTC price is irrelevant when calculating ROI -- both the investment and ROI are in BTC.  Learn to BTC.
2.  If Ken was an honest guy, people should expect to get .0025 in dividends for their .0005 investment, or 500% ROI*.  But people aren't buying Ken's stories, that's why they're not buying his shares.

*going buy the incorrect definition of ROI used on these boards.

3. Ken/the company doesn't care what price the shares are sold for, save for the fact the 100BTC+costs needs to be recovered. Leaving some shares for Ukyo is not a consideration. Liquidating the shares to recover 100BTC+costs is the ONLY consideration.
...

Ken promised to pay .0025 in divs for the shares he is selling @.0005.  If you take Ken at his word, he is effectively taking out a loan @400% interest.
Shrewd business move, or ?? ?
So much arithmetic fail in this thread...

Crumbs you are really as stupid as you sound.

These shares have already been sold once before clown.

OHAI, Bargraphics!

Keeping these shares (destroying them) would mean that Ken would not have to pay .0025 in divs per share.
And your last comment means i don't need to ask - I know you are as stupid as you sound.

Ok, I'm sure now you are in bad faith,

I am simply referring to US law. You don't have to take my word for it do some research on lien.

You should be quoting Belize law.  Active Mining is a Belize Virtual Identity Cheesy

Wait, don't seized assets get split between ALL the debtors?

Just stop it.  This is two pickpockets stealing from each other.  No need to bring corporate law into this.
78  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 04, 2014, 03:21:39 PM
Yep, and only 6.72 BTC being offered for the remaining 80%.

You don't understand how an exchange works. It a bit like a shop. Not every customer is in Walmart at every second of the day. Not everyone - infact very few big buyers - use buy orders.

If Wal-Mart had an 80% OFF EVERYTHING SALE... Cheesy

Everyone at Neo & Bee are now involved in this resolution process.
and
When I say no monetary cost, then NO ONE who works for Neo & Bee is involved, then I mean just that.

Hilarious.
He has also said that they are doing it on their own time and not taking away from NeoBee. So, it's no different than if he and a couple of his friends were working on it.

Did you purposely forget to grab that quote or?...

Nah.
I forgot nothing.
I included both quotes - his claim that NeoBee is involved in the resolution process (see top of this page for extra lulz), and him denying that NeoBee is involved.

@NanoAkron:  This thread is about all things NeoBee, not just pics of press clippings and chrome yellow logos.

Look at it this way, Ken's main responsibility is to his shareholders investment. If he did not act to safeguard these monies and we later came to need them he could also be taken to court by the shareholders.

This could represent quarter of a million dollars by Q3 and we could need these funds at that time, they could become crucial. So Ken is looking after the company's bottom line. That is his role.

Dear minerpart:
A gutter full of retarded junkies who just discovered crack would have better "safeguarded shareholders' investment."
Your particular blend of desperation and imbecility is getting tiresome.
Now stop.
