61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Confirmed Bad News Sources Thread - No FUD, Just Facts!!!1 on: February 04, 2014, 06:26:59 PM
I would please like someone to either stamp this as CONFIRMED or FUD

http[Suspicious link removed]cuting-withdrawals-now-owes-clients-38m-in-disappeared-money/

CONFIRMED! in fact, sources say that nobody was able to withdraw from MtGox since 2009, so it was actually operating as a money trap, with positive reports all from paid employees.

how stupid are you so you actually do believe that nobody was able to withdraw from MtGox since 2009 ?
are you saying since 2009 all trades on mtgox are fake? or even people can't get money out from mtgox but still sell/buy bitcoins at there?

SEPA wire takes around 2 weeks, JPY japan bank wire takes 2 days

Stop crying.

Stop FUDing

some banks closed user's account for the same reason, why? because bitcoin is supposed to destroy them! bank and paypal of cause will fight back!
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: PAYPAL STARTED MASSIVE ACCOUNT BAN ON ANYTHING BITCOIN RELATED on: February 04, 2014, 05:08:20 PM
You were selling a physical item that was perfectly allowed and they froze your money because they didn't like it...  How is that not illegal?

sue them!
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEEMS LIKE LARGE BTC HOLDERS TRYING TO KEEP PRICE AROUND $800 on: February 04, 2014, 03:11:39 PM
I am holding half a million dollar of bitcoin at current price, if i give this $$$ to my bank investment manager and join a low risk wealth management plan, i could get around %7 income per year which would be $500000 * %7 / 365 * 30 =  $2876 per month, therefore i hope bitcoin price move !
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEEMS LIKE LARGE BTC HOLDERS TRYING TO KEEP PRICE AROUND $800 on: February 04, 2014, 02:44:29 PM
i need a raise to $5000 then a drop to $2000, so i can make some $$$, the current market situation is bad for investment, money in bitcoin is stucked, $0 profit, even worse than the Bank saving interest
67  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Shared send feature gone????? on: February 04, 2014, 02:39:49 PM
what if the dice site gives out your received and destination address to the FBI?

Why would I mind? I have not done anything illegal.
Besides, FBI probably have all my addresses already.

you know, many users of Blockchain.com do care very much about this
68  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Shared send feature gone????? on: February 04, 2014, 11:34:23 AM
Most people who got there btc from legit transactions wouldn't need any mixing service.
If I really want to "mix" my coins, I will probably just send them to a dice site and withdraw.

69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation Bet: Bitcoin will hit $600 (non-gox price) by 3-22-14 on: February 02, 2014, 09:47:44 AM
send the bitcoins to escrow!

Stop and Ban those alt coins copycats now

Almost all(in fact, all) of the alt-coins out there are going to be a waste of time.  They're being created to take advantage of people who get super excited about different things and then get pumped and dumped.

Most alt coins are completely pointless and just poor replicas of what's already out there with little to no improvement.

Those alt coins(junkcoins) are spreading the investment of bitcoin and can't be good for crypto as a whole, they will also destroy people's trust of cryptocurrencies after their crash and run and disapparation. only their "developers" or "early adopters team" will get rich quick by taking your money away.

Bitcoin has a limit of only 21 million, however with all these so called "alt coins", the total number of crypto is in fact unlimited and make all cryptocurrencies end up into a ponzi scheme(only detract from people's perceived value of Bitcoin and the legitimacy of cryptos in general)

Stop and Ban those alt coins copycats now, let the money flow back to the bitcoin!

Itīs like sending money to Gox.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Bitcoin exchanges are all mostly fucked up.. I sincerely doubt that bitcoin will go mainstream with the likes of Mt.Gox (fake fiat), Huobi/BTCChina (regulatory limbo), BTC-e (anonymous gypsies) dominating the market.

and bitstamp? it gonna be put in jail by Russia/Bulgaria government?

They r in Slovenia which is not anti bitcoin, also they r doing well so far.

thanks for the information

He's following the stated rules
Is this true? It is not clear to me whether bank transfers were explicitly allowed/disallowed.

No, All chinese banks are not allowed to do anything Bitcoin related, he is trying to use the "PBOC said people can trade bitcoin, which it's just nonsense" stuff to cover up his "accept bank wire deposit again" illegal action
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: We might not see Cheap Coins anytime soon thanks to BTC China on: January 30, 2014, 08:50:11 PM
It's a very risky route he's taking i agree.

Looks like a win-win for Bobby Lee, as far as I can tell.  He's following the stated rules, and he's very high international visibility.  If he gets shutdown, he loses his business, but that was toast anyhow.  Worst that can reasonably happen is that his exchange gets shut down.  At this point, either they change the rules or he's free to operate.  All the alternatives are pretty much cut off by the international visibility factor.

he might lose his freedom too
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: We might not see cheap Coins anytime soon thanks to BTC China on: January 30, 2014, 08:43:53 PM
So Huobi and OKCoin can have bank accounts for deposit/withdrawal, but BTC China can't? Hmmm?  Interesting...

no worry, they will soon all meet each other in a small dark room...
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: We might not see Cheap Coins anytime soon thanks to BTC China on: January 30, 2014, 08:31:38 PM
As another poster mentioned, it looks like the volume surge pertained to a bot exploiting a market order bot using the maker taker structure. The market order bot has since been turned off.

Was the bank transfer story confirmed? Last night it was just a reddit story confirmed by "John Winklevoss."

It's real, Bobby lee even confirmed it:

Bobby lee is going to be put in jail by China government for this

Wink

Now its the time for USA agents to revenge,

All Bitcoin Business is in fact less/more relating to SilkRoad, SilkRoad makes Bitcoin's sucess today

It's just about the timing to investigate this fact and get a reason to destroy Bitcoin, then arrest Mtgox/TradeHill/Bitinstant etc..
