61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 07, 2017, 01:45:42 PM
The miners shows it. Starting diff is 0.5 or 1 last days, vardiff after.

yes, but if you set your difficulty manually using the password field - p d=0.064, it will start off at .5 then after like 30 seconds or so switch to the diff you set in the worker.
Not working for me from 2-3 days, told you. Ccminer and sgminer.

just tried it, twice...

first time, with the -p d=0.064 in the bat file didn't work,  but the second time did it.

i also added the same line in the pass field for the worker on the site itself.  not sure if that's what did it, but it's working now.

Now

No payments for 28062 and 28064. And this is permanent for fast blocks. Proportional shits.

Wel difficulty spiked up to 40K thats why i think on that moment you get low shares

Its from prop payout system.

are you using the vafdiff, or have a worker diff set manually ?

Manually not working from 2-3 days. And does not correspond. You just need to have an accepted shares for the block mining time.

manually works for me.  the diff the pool displays for the worker is different then what you set, but it does work.  for example i settled on a diff of 0.064 per gpu (1070), and it shows as 16.3 on the pool side.

a lower diff may just give you a fighting chance to at least submit something during those fast blocks.

Hello everyone, this was my post yesterday.

I've been trying to mine this coin for a few days and it just keeps crashing my rig. I have 6 GTX 1070s and I've tried the given ccminer and the palgin ccminer...both crash after 20 minutes or so.

It is not the hardware as ethereum mines fine for days, overclocked or on stock.

I tried mining it on stock and on OC settings and it crashed the same way.

Recommendations posted were to increase virtual memory & to lower my intensity.

I expanded my virtual memory and lowered the intensity to 17...but I'm getting the same results.

Any other suggestions? Thanks

Check your power.

Eth is a very low power algo.  My 1070's, without any adjustments (full stock), run it at close to 60% wattage.  Skunk is not as efficient, and your cards are drawing more power, which could be the reason you're seeing crashes.  Try lowering your tdp a bit and see if it helps.

the hype will last till the last coin will be mined
Rly? When will be this(last mined)?
Nobody knows, I know 1 thing right now, current price is way too high for the current difficulty Wink

it's halving in like a day and a half, so it's not for long...

whattomine calculations is way off. it is not giving accurate data when it comes to coin rewards. dont use it.
They are accurate, same as mine on http://nullspam.ru/nodes/signatum/
Reward is calculated based on average diff for the past 24h.
If diff spiked during the last hour and you are getting half the coins that doesn't mean calculations are wrong.
Difficulty is unpredictable, so any predictions for the next 24h will be even less accurate.

i wish i could say i am wrong. unless i am reading my numbers incorrectly, but i don't think i am. here is results that whattomine gives me:
http://whattomine.com/coins/191-sigt-skunkhash?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=431.24&p=2500&fee=0.0&cost=.12&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

right now as of this post it says about 46 coins per hour or 1103 per day.
suprnova shows me my actual stats at:
Last Hour: 31.80104194
Last Day: 905.03889363

those are the numbers that matter in the end. i am not getting 1103 coins in 24 hours, i am getting 905. and i am not getting 46 coins i am getting about 32 an hour.

taking the actual numbers and calculating them with the current market value of the sigt coin is vastly different then what WTM is giving me on estimates.

unless i am understanding or reading the actual numbers from suprnova and comaring it to wtm, it looks like a lot less to me.

the only thing WTM is getting right is the cost of the electricity.

Nova is running at about 120% luck the for the last day, so you're making 20 percent less then any number a calculator will give you.  You made 200 coins less then what the calculator predicted, which is right around 20 percent.

lol 2000 + miner from this morning on suprnova.
hype on hash is crazy  Cheesy Cheesy

if bittrex list SIGT after halving we go to the moon  Tongue Tongue
How long roughly until we reach the halving, what are we at currently? Or how can I find out?

The halving is at block 30,000.  It's at 27,100+ now, and there are 1,400+ blocks found per day = 2 days or so.

Again, unscientific math, but should be close.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 06, 2017, 07:55:45 PM
last 24hours luck for top 2 pools
1 suprnova 120%
2 pool.mn 111%
Please write info about pool you mine.
i can get any info about luck at yiimp pool if someone know its please write it.

cant find anything on luck with YIIMP

however, in last 24 hours pool has found 151 blocks with an average hashrate of 192.5 GH/s and BTC value of 7.69820541

My completely unscientific calculation puts nova slightly ahead of yiimp on luck.

nova's hashrate for the last day was right around 1ghz, so about 5 times and like an extra 4 percent higher then yiimp.  yiimp found 151 blocks, times 5 is around 750 then add another 30 or so for the extra 4 percent - you get something like 780 blocks.  nova found 840 blocks in that time, so doing slightly better.

Again, these are incredibly unscientific calculations.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Custum Rig Slowing Network Internet Badly? on: August 06, 2017, 07:42:02 PM
Depending on the model of router you have, you should be able to adjust QOS settings to give higher priority to video streaming.  You should also be able to isolate your mining rig, and give it the lowest priority.

Some routers (like my old Asus) mistake mining traffic for gaming traffic, and by default give it the highest priority.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 06, 2017, 07:23:49 PM
Has the difficulty increased in mining this thing?

Don't really understand why the price is increasing so much at the moment.

Some blogs also are reporting it'll be added to Bittrex, which they say would increase the price 10x. Of course that's all just speculation.

what you mean speculation ??  it has 317 btc trade volume. Bittrex has lots of coins cant reach that volume.

i think by speculation he meant the 10x bump in price, more so then the listing on bittrex.

at least that's the way i read it.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Windows 10 version to GTX 1070 rig on: July 04, 2017, 09:36:50 PM
if you can get your hands on win 10 LTSB enterprise version, do it.

this is the enterprise version meant for appliances that are always on, like cash registers, hvac systems etc.

this version comes with no windows store, cortana, edge or other nonsense that comes with regular win 10.  it also receives no feature updates, but does get all the security patches etc.   the 2016 LTSB (the latest version),  is basically windows 10 version from this fall (before the creators update).  It has all the advantages of the new os and looks like windows 10, but acts and feels like windows 7 (no random rebooting to apply updates, spying or junk apps etc).

you cannot buy this version, unless you're a business that needs a boatload of licenses.  you'll need either a friend with a msdn sub, or use a torrented copy.

75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining LBRY with 1080 ti on: June 28, 2017, 04:13:08 AM
experiment with difficulty setting in your miner program. It makes a huge difference. try setting it to d=4 or d=8 or d=16 and see which pays out more for you. ccminer x64 d=2 on my settings.

Hi, may I know how to set the difficulty in miner? I am using ccminer 2.0, 5x gtx 1060 6gb hashrate 990mh/s

What diff amount should I set in miner base on this spec?

you can set your worker diff by using the password field in your bat file.  instead of the usual -p x, use -p d=256 etc.

they actually have a note explaining it that is always on top of the dashboard, just look up Smiley

You can now use d=? in worker password field for static diff. For example "d=16" gives you a static diff of 16:
./sgminer -k lbry -o stratum+tcp://lbry.suprnova.cc:6256 -u suprnova.1 -p d=16 -I 21 -g 4 -w 256

Is the payout good with Skein?

about $6/day right now

Im doing ~875MH with 80%TDP, +160core, -100mem

Your math may be off, with 960 mh/s I'll be doing around 9.60$ a day.

or perhaps my calculator site is wrong lol

As i mentioned earlier, i am still thinking whether i want to get a 1080ti, so don't have one yet.  But i did an experiment with my 1070's mining skein, and i think your estimate of $9.60 is off.  Maybe a couple of weeks or even days ago, but today it should be somewhere at closer to $7.  This is with the dgb price at 0.00000819 and btc at $2,450.

I base these numbers on what i earned with my 1070's during my tests.  I have 3 identical "triplets" (built same day with identical parts etc) workstations each with a 1070.  Over the last couple of days i ran a 24 hour test on 3 pools - suprnova, miiningpoolhub and blockfactory.  I ended up mining 172 dgb on blockfactory, 184 on nova, and 192 on miningpoolhub.  1070 hashes at 525.

My best earning for the 24 hour stretch was 192 dgb.  My card hashes at 525 (60%tdp, 110w), so let's pretend that the 1080ti does double for quick and dirty math, and mines at 1050.  192x2 is 384 dgb, which is around $7.70 per day, and this is a very optimistic estimate, since most 1080ti's don't hash 1050, and are closer to 950 then a 1000.  At 950, using my lazy math and just subtracting ten percent from my previous number, you should make close to $7 per day before any power costs.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 27, 2017, 01:03:01 AM
Is the payout good with Skein?

you can get a pretty good idea of what kind of payout to expect by following these two links.

1) yiimp benchmarks - http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=skein&chip=387
2.) skein (DGB) calculator - https://whattomine.com/coins/114-dgb-skein?utf8=✓&hr=900.0&p=200.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.25&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

The first link will give you a list of benchmarks for various models of the gpu currently mining skein on yiimp.  This includes hash and wattage.  Plug both those values into the calculator in the second link, and it will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.

I don't have a 1080ti, but i have been thinking of getting one, so i started doing a lot of reading and stumbled upon this thread.

It's obvious that this card is not overly efficient, especially when compared to it's cheaper cousin - the 1070.  But when fine tuned it could be ok for skein, and pretty  much skein alone.  Zcash, eth or lbry it struggles on when it comes to efficiency.  If you have free or dirt cheap electricity, then 1080ti is a good way to go, but if you're like most of us that has to actually pay an electric bill - you may want to consider a different gpu for mining.

Hi can you tell me your powerlimit value?

powerlimit is at 80.

i tried 75, and it worked fine (no crashes or anything), but dropped my hash by like 10sol.  monitoring it in afterburner, i can see that with my settings (+150 clock/ +600 mem) the tdp fluctuates right around 75-77 percent, so 75 was choking the card a little.  i left it at 80 to give it a little cushion, and the past 24 hours everything has been running great.

i am a bit alarmed at the direction of this thread...

i am all for good old fashioned mob justice, and have my torches and pitchforks ready... i am all for exposing this douche for the scammer that he is...

i am however more then just a little uncomfortable with seeing messages from his mother begging for a loan, or the texts of some random cunt (be it his wife or someone else) telling how "her pussy is all wet for her hashking"...

if the goal here is to truly help expose a scam, and to save as many potential current and future victims, this is not the way to go about it...

It is what it is. I do not agree with it either but it does show the mindset of someone who wants to suck a genius cock. She fucking knew what was going on and to some that has put her in the crossfire. I think that this group has been pretty restrained thus far. For example, have you ever seen the titty pics posted here?

Didn't think so.

Since a general call went out to keep kids and NSFW picks off of here, it has been respected.

So expect some to leak through. Consider it a blip in the revelation of a multi-million dollar scam.

oh, i understand... and i get how showing that a man who is flashing his Ferraris yet wouldn't lend his own mother a couple of hundred bucks so she can visit speaks about his character, but still... somehow that whole part just feels "wrong"...

all that said - i have my pitchfork and torch ready Smiley
