We wanted to remind everyone that there are now added bonus goals for total BTC raised. To requote it,

Shortly following the initial sale, after we have completed testing with our beta testers, we will be releasing a prototype game which will act as a simple prototype for what we're developing. At the start, we will issue a test currency to make sure if anything goes wrong or works as intended nobody loses any real money while testing this. Perhaps going forward, we can offer testing of various things in the future as a sort of faucet for LIR however this is still currently being discussed.

We think that it's important that our users understand how provably fair games work and what the point of making them provably fair is. A provably fair game means the client (the user) has control over some variable which affects the outcome of their roll. Given this, once the server variable is released at the end of each day a client can go back and verify that the number they rolled was indeed the correct number there by making it provably fair. To ensure the server doesn't cheat by changing it's variable, the server must provide a hashed value of it's hidden variable prior to releasing it. The third variable used is called the nonce which is a value that continuously increments as the user continues to make rolls.

Simply put, there exists some function R such that it produces a real number between 0 and less than 1

In layman terms, there are three variables:
C - Client Seed: which you have control over and can be changed arbitrary
N - Nonce: A number that goes up after each roll
S - Server Seed: A hidden variable held by the server until the end of each day
H(S) - Hashed Server Seed: A hashed version of S so that you can verify that when the server releases S, it is indeed the correct value.

Using the three variables, you generate a number between 0 and 1 (for example: 0.222, 0.442, 0.25, 0.89, 0.9912, etc.)

To then produce a satisfiable result, you can then use following calculation to generate a number between min and less than max

Card games (as someone asked) are a little different. Several rolls are actually involved in a card game. What makes a card game provably fair is how the deck is shuffled. The verifiable method for this is checking how the deck was shuffled. One example of a simple algorithm that can be applied here is the Fisher Yates shuffle. Taking our previously defined function R,

We have raised about 291.5 BTC with bonuses factored in, it represents about 316 BTC. Of the ~24.5 BTC that exists as bonuses, 9 BTC (~37%) of bonuses belongs to the group of people who have deposited 5 BTC or more. We expect to be paying out no more than 100k LIR for other bonuses such as twitter and signatures.
Just wanted to give everyone a clear picture of how many bonus BTC are in play. Deposit bonus has ended so these numbers will not change moving forward.

We sort of found it funny how speculative everyone was about the end reward being a bonus % for deposits. That's not quite what we had in mind. More so, we were thinking about offering everyone a chance to try out a simple dice game where you "spin" to win. If you're lucky, you will be able to win 10% of your investment back (capped at 0.2 BTC). Of course, this will also come with an achievement since this is a one time only event . Investors who invested within the first 240 hours, will also be entitled to participate in the same game however with a cap of 0.3 BTC.

Just wanted to add to Phoexix's last post. Currently we have a lot of things planned and already underway in terms of development.

One of these things is tournaments. Tournaments will offer you the ability to play games in a p2p manner to see who has the most skill (or in some cases, who is the most lucky). We'll be looking to create some innovative dice tournaments which we have previously talked about that will use a tournament bracket-style ladder to determine the ultimate victor. Tournaments will of course be paired with achievements (next section). The frequency of tournaments available will depend on a few factors such as given interest in participation, volume on our platform, etc. so it's hard to given an estimate at this point in time how often they will occur but we hope to be running them daily.

Achievements will be a feature on our site that lets you earn cool rewards as you use the site. Achievements can be based on almost anything and don't entirely have to be about winning (for example, "Biggest Loser", "5x Loss Streak", or "Biggest Winner", "5x Win Streak", etc). Achievements will allow you to unlock new game modes and settings on our site as well as offer a customization aspect so you can show off in our trollbox/chat. Some achievements in the future may offer permanent bonuses to your account such as increased rewards or extra shared profit.

As mentioned by Phoenix, we are currently in the process of researching a style of betting which will allow you to bet on the house winning or so to speak "insure" the next block of bets. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot go into too much detail on this until our research has completed, our math is verified and development has started, Plus we don't want to give away too much to our competition. In regards to card based games such as poker, blackjack, etc. Yes it's possible to create these games in a provably fair fashion and we'll look to release technical write ups on this in the future closer to the release. Card games are not our number one priority thought and at this point in time as we are currently focusing on developing the dice aspect our site first.

For the dice games offered we will of course have various modes with varying house edges. Depending on which mode you choose to play, the game may have special bonuses enabled such as rewards for streaks, participation in progressive jackpots and as mentioned before achievements. Hey guys, I want to apologize for our down time today, let me explain our course of events.

We had an attack on our website which caused our host to temporarily take down our site to prevent any damages until we could mitigate the problem. When first notified of the problem I was unavailable to immediately address the problem. Once I was back at my work desk, it took some time but I managed to mitigate the attack and I thought we were good to go so I started driving home (rush hour traffic).

Phoenix shortly after I had left then informed me that he still couldn't reach our site, however I could from work so I found this very strange. I had him ask a few other people to test it and we noticed some could reach it and some couldn't. I instantly realized it was a problem related to the DNS. This was unfavorable timing since I was stuck in traffic with just my phone. It was pretty difficult to remote into my computer at home to diagnose the problem so I was forced to temporarily pull over to the side of the road. Once I had done everything I could the last bit of it was left up to the technician of our host provider and waiting on DNS propagation (which took forever).

Finally, here we are now and everything is up and running as intentional. Please let us know if you experience any abnormalities using our website/services.

I love to see many great questions like this so allow me to fill in the blank . The 10% will be split proportionally between the the top 10 investors. The reamining 15% is split between people who allow us to hold their coins on our web wallet interface (so if you're in the top 10, you can also participate within the 15%).

Money pot is just that - a money pot. We're not allowing other sites or developers at this time to use our bankroll, however we will be adding an API for this in the future. We will be developing our own platform and suite of games under our brand Let It Ride. Keeping your coins on the site will stake (eventually; it's not implemented at this time but will be soon after the end of sale). At this point we are currently in the process of registering a business officially under the brand Let It Ride. Once this is done, we will post an announcement in regards to this.
