Where are the DEVS for Octocoin and do they have anything at all coming out for this coin anytime soon?? They are quickly dying off on Bittrex and it's not looking good!! I hope this coin can pull something fantastic out soon cause I have faith that it has potential but the books don't lie and not too many people are buying into this coin anymore. Just food for thought!! Still very supportive for this coin but hate to ask for one of the DEVS to acknowledge something regarding details of the path they are headed with Octocoin? Don't forget the part where you buy plenty of Octo at a really cheap 600 satoshis because some holders have gotten worried and sold theirs. This isn't the first time this has happened, people need to take notes in trends. To add to this, now is literally the worst time to sell off your OctoCoin as the devs have recently announced that a new wallet, and hub project are being released soon. If anyone is planning to sell any more Octo at these cheap prices feel free to post here, if i don't buy em, I'm sure ShellBunner, Squidsin, GWCalvert, djslick, FrameLALife, or Joshycoin would happily take them off your hands as it is hard to buy large amounts of Octo anyhow. Always buying! Send me a PM! I ran out of BTC on Bittrex buying the past few days.  Now I'm in the process of shuffling coins around (arbitrage, selling, etc) so that I can spend more BTC there and not allow Shellbunner to buy up all of the cheap stuff. All it does it promote more scams, especially with all these new coins that come out that are straight PoS or PoS + PoW where the PoW is done after a week. You are essentially creating something out of absolutely nothing, putting a value on it and watching people get scammed out of money. The exchange makes money, the devs make money and the traders are stuck with a coin that no one wants. I've said it before, there needs to be an exchange that only dealt in established coins with an established community. Of course it will never happen because greed runs way too high throughout the entire altcoin world. |

i seems the ipo not good Not good? The price is stable and bittrex already sold more than 30 BTC Why wouldn't the price be stable? Unless people are willing to sell for an immediate loss it will be stable until the mining begins. |

Octo doesn't have a strict POS element but the devs are working on a 'Bank' to store your coins which may pay interest. The Devs probably won't answer you as they only really post when there's a development (which we're expecting in the coming weeks) but to get an idea of what's happening I'd recommend finding the Dev on the forum and reviewing his post history. Dev, if you manage to actually get those BTC out of Bittrex, that's some pretty nice cash for a week spent copying TAC. I bet in a week we gonna see a whole new wave of smartasses trying to do the same. Oh well, if there's sheep, you shear them, so good on you!
im not sure about the exact agreement for releasing the ICO funds to dev but it would be nice if it were accountable for example: - need .5 btc for promo video > release .5 btc then show proof of payment (TX ID) and actual video too much work though for bittrex probably but would be nice and give confidence in the ICO Way too much work and too many promises. All holding the ICO shows is that Bittrex is OK with their algo and acts as an escrow service for coins and BTC. Outside of that I doubt there is anything else for them to do. It's nice to know you will get what you paid for, but beyond that it means nothing about future value or dev involvement. |

I have seen a few people bragging it up about secretive Skype conversations and "big things to come." All the dev has come out with is a screenshot of something that looks like iTunes and a plan to release v2 of the coin in 3+ weeks. All just blind trust.

How much do you think a bank have in assets?? 6 billion for them is not that much, plust to this it will be like 20 years till 600 million will be mined and this 400 million left will be from the people not from us, and 200 million of the premine is nothing crazy to the bank, that’s why its visible and not hidden…. Yes, it was kinda like BONE, higher the DIFF the higher the reward. Problem was they had no miners and the reward never increased.
So here we are, the miners who have been here since the beginning, and it's our cost of electric that will make this coin look attractive to other miners.
Why should I mine this coin for fractions of a WACG? I should I waste my 50Mh/s mining this when I can make much more mining something else?
