61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Conspiracy Coin (X11 Pow + PoS) Launching TODAY! on: May 23, 2014, 01:55:23 AM
There is not much btc left to pump shitcoins, most of the btc goes in Darkcoin, atleast for the next 2 weeks....

The question is, can DRK get to $100?  Grin

It's only a matter of time, it can go to 100 or 1000 or even more. Short term 100, mid term 1000, 3 years 10000. But only if Darksend is secure and if Darkcoin gains mainstream attention and if the Tor markets switch to Darkcoin and if Darkcoin get used as an anonymous commodity. Thats a lot of ifs.... But sure it can happen, look at Bitcoin.

Whats the consensus about getting some more t-shirts done? Somebody created this: http://teespring.com/darkcoin the other day - if we had any profit put into a bounty it could be quite good? tbh Id prefer to pay with fiat - dont want to sell my drk just yet.

bought one, although they could have the same logo in front than on the back. Now it looks a bit unprofessional, but they are cheap and we have to spread the propaganda to the street.

Bitcoin rises 10% and suddenly pretty much all altcoins are in the green. HAHA, I am so looking forward to BTC = 1000$...

I can't wait until BTC-E and Bitstamp pickup Darkcoin.

What makes you think BTC-e would add DRK. I would be great but don see this. They havenīt changed their coins since months.
Even DOGE wasnīt added.

Maybe the fact they DRK can be taken seriously?

...and FTC can? Yet it's still on there. Hard to reason logic when illogical things happen.

They have made so much money I doubt they even care at this point.

If it's all about the money, they should have added Doge.

It's most likely not about money for BTC-E...but the quality of a coin they add. I have no doubts they'll be adding Darkcoin because of the innovation it brings to the table.

Coins BTC-E added because of their innovation:

Primecoin (XPM)
Peercoin  (PPC)
Litecoin   (LTC)
Feathercoin (FTC)
Namecoin (NMC)

Edit: Flutter to Feather

It is always the money.... When SR 2.0 switch their payment system to Darkcoin instead of Bitcoin, all exchanges will add Darkcoin.

Hi, i'm new here. Is it safe to transfer Darkcoins to a Paperwallet address? The price goes up and up and i don't know if paperwallets are working with all these wallet updates? Can anyone lead me to a sure paperwallet?

Great question and was thinking about this today.

There is a wallet generator here -> http://paper.darkcoin.io/

BUT, I don't know if it is OK. There is no link to the wallet on the site, so maybe they wanted it not to be used.

Can you see in the darkcoin explorer if the coins are on the paperwallet? Or is the blockchain totally unreadable?

Of course you can, just check the address on the blockchain to see your balance.

Ok, i will try it with one coin... Can i send more coins to the paperwallet after?

To be honest, it was much more fun to hold these coins when I knew "they will double or even triple in price very soon" (yeah, it was a pessimistic underestimation) than holding them (the same pack) now after they jumped ten times higher crazy fast. Now I have this "a massive dump is imminent" feeling. A simple halving (which is very possible from a total dump and a follow up panic) would result in more loss than the gain from the initial doubling (which I expected and welcomed).
I know it's silly but that's how my psyche works anyway. I feel stupid for not selling and trying to buy back tomorrow (a lot cheaper) even though I know it's extremely risky in this craziness. Grin

I voted for 2-3 dollar until end of may!

Can we move on some constructive discussions on the coin? (email the damn pool admin and stop spamming the thread)

So any ideas on the multipool , logo , bounties for translations and community ?

Is the Zerocoin feature working ?

No answer from the dev is also an answer. Claimed this coin to have zerocoin implemented to hide his premine. Tomorrow this coin is dead.

How does zerocoin work? I don't see an option in the wallet to change dreamcoins to zerocoins? Does zerocoin implemention mean that nobody can check wallet adresses and the coins in it? In other words, is the blockchain completeley unreadable and there is no possibility to check if there was really no premine? Please explain the zerocoin feature more in detail!
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] X11 | POS/POW | 5 Days of Mining | Zerocoin on: May 12, 2014, 12:10:47 AM
Has Zerocoin been SUCCESSFULLY implemented into Libertycoin or is it just planned?

The OP includes this line...

Quote
Truly Anonymous Transactions with Zerocoin technology implemented.

How does this zerocoin implemtion work? I don't see an option in the wallet to change coins against zerocoins... Please explain... Sorry i am a noob.

Does zerocoin mean that the blockchain shows only transaction ids and not the amount of coins in a wallet? If this is the case, how can you check if there was really no premine?

Perhaps you should remove the sentence "darkets, exchanges, and coin mixers..."

I don't think that there any "ANC coin mixers", and even if there were, these would always be less secure than using zerocoins.

perhaps you could change the logo to something not so illuminati pyramid style... found the logos with an ? better.

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MUN] Muniti: Malta's cryptocurrency - X11, D2D system - on local news on: April 18, 2014, 01:29:22 AM
It has been another extremely busy day for all of us. We started promotion out on the streets, with the sticking up of posters onto prominent places and informing passers-by about cryptocurrencies in general, before mentioning Muniti to them and giving them an informative flyer. We had to split individually as we're only six right now, but with the positive response which we received today, we are optimistic about the numbers growing bit by bit. These are pictures of some of the posters we managed to set up; lots more were spread around and we will be continuing on Saturday, as tomorrow is Black Friday.

none of these walls look like "prominent places"... After the Edgecoin scam you have to show us more than this....

If you want a successful anonymous coin without insider instaminer, you need also a gui wallet.
