It's not 'weird' . They have said over and over and over that they won't announce Visa cards until they are approved.
Seeing as they've said that cards will be sent in september I am guessing they will get approval in the next 2 weeks

The whole point of the app is to allow people to sign up for a card.
I will be very surprised if it doesn't have that functionality.
The cards are scheduled to be shipped in September.
I don't think they'll be shipping a non-visa card.
If they do then yes it will tank probably.
They're doing a good job of keeping us in suspense.
