61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How fast can one achieve Crypto millionaire status with meme coin? on: January 24, 2024, 06:03:48 PM
Interestingly, Meme coins are becoming more and more popular with significant indicators of the bull market. They're a cool type of cryptocurrency that combines internet memes inspired by popular memes and cultural trends. With the advanced technology like the Solana blockchain, these coins brings people together who are excited about and hold such tokens. While Meme coins are very risky, investors are excited to throw in their funds and if you ask them, they'll tell you that individuals who invest in meme coins before they become popular, it is possible for them to become wealthy or at least earn some money.

I read an analysis of Shiba Inu (SHIB) coin, which was launched in 2020. It was clear that purchasing $11.87 worth of SHIB at that time, an investor could have become a millionaire only one year and three months later because of its significant price increase. I need your opinion here, how fast can one achieve a millionaire status with meme coin? Asking because, after my analysis of the profit ratio of the likes of Shiba Inu, Pepe, Bonk etc, I am also on the look out for good meme coins to try out. The recent one I found and still considering is Dogwifhat WIF recently listed on Bitget, Raydium and other cex probably or what do you all think? Can we truly become Millionaires with meme coins?
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look Out For When Picking Your Favourite Coin? on: January 23, 2024, 08:47:50 PM
I am not an active trader but one thing that I considers is checking the community of the project that I am spotting on. If there's so much valuable information that's being spread through its community then that means that they're helping each other and keeping their community informed on what they're doing. Like with the examples about the progress that they make and updates about listings, etc.

Honestly, most of them are just the same in terms of all of the purposes and updates but they're just choosing different chains on where they think is going to be best for their project. Some may say about the supply limit of the coins, well, I'd put that on the last list of my factors because many of them won't be considered valuable even if the supply is just few and they're just following the path and structure of Bitcoin for having a limited supply.

Keeping the community up-to-date with information concerning the project Development along the roadmap is key in a project I settle with too. Infact it is part of what I consider whether I will hodl a token long term or short. That said, the team organization is the most vital factor I look out for and the performance of token on Exchanges if it's already listed.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the possibility of discovering a memecoin that could change your life? on: January 21, 2024, 05:12:48 PM
The chances of discovering a memecoin early enough so that investing in it can change your life is low, really low. Normally you only become aware of a successful one when it has pumped so hard that it is trending on social media or talked about in crypto circles. By that time most of the parabolic price action has already happened & you are just potential liquidity for the developers & backers to dump on. You would have to be extremely lucky to find a memecoin that does really well & invest before it explodes upwards, giving you enough time to sell & get rich.

While you have a clear point here but there are also those on X. who are influencers that are reputable for promoting good meme tokens over time. Yes, not all of it gets to he life changing but following some of those influencers get you closers to finding some. But you you have to be willing to keep throwing in some $$ you're willing to lose. Another place you to find new promising tokens is being active on Exchange communities. So of these Exchanges announces the listing over time, giving you opportunity to research the token early enough.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Islamic Coin- the Shariah-Compliant Digital Money for the HAQQ Ecosystem ! on: January 20, 2024, 03:54:32 AM
To me, this looks like a failed attempt because there is no correlation between cryptocurrency and religion because, to a great extent, most of those that deliberately separate their coin development along either religion,  ethnic or tribal lines have all failed since the project may fail to attract the right audience and investors.
I am sure that this project could do better if they discover a need in society and seek ways to end it that is by providing real-life services, this is the only way a project can build good liquidities that will propel the project to success.

Talking about attracting the right audience, you're right. A lot of folks are in the Crypto space not to fratanize with religion but for the enrichment. No doubt the project so far has tried to project its concept around the faith. As the reading ISLM mission as the native currency of the Haqq Network, there's much expectations which I'm waiting to see the outcome. I saw the project early enough and now it it beginning to hit Exchange, I have position myself with the listing reward pool on Bitget. Hope the project turns out a better narrative among projects driven along religious lines.
65  Local / Deutsch (German) / Web3 Opportunity for France/Germany/CIS Region on: January 18, 2024, 01:05:33 PM
Hey, people! I am not German and this isn't an official announcement here. It's just me who've been looking to contribute meaningfully to this space and luckily, I found an opportunity someone here might be excited to grab. So I thought to share.

Like most Crypto jobs, they're seeking for one with a proven experience in team building and leadership, preferably in the tech or financial industry. A person with Strong marketing and branding skills, with a track record of successfully driving user growth. Experience in community management and building engaged user communities is also part of the requirements, with ability to identify and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the local market. Flexibility and adaptability to navigate the evolving crypto and blockchain industry. As well as the passion for technology, cryptocurrencies, and the future of finance.

As the title suggests, this opportunity was published by Bitget Wallet, a leading crypto wallet app that provides users with a secure and user-friendly platform to manage their digital assets. They seem to have a strong presence in the Asian markets, and now seeking to expand its reach to the European and CIS regions. To spearhead this expansion, Bitget Wallet has announced the opportunity for individuals to become part of their Global Trailblazers team.

To be considered for this role, I read that the candidates must have fluency in French, German, or Russian, as well as English. This requirement highlights the importance of local market knowledge and effective communication with both the team and the target audience. Additionally, candidates must possess a deep understanding of the local market dynamics specific to their region, allowing them to tailor marketing strategies and community building efforts accordingly.

The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in team building, preferably in the tech or financial industry. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members will be essential in driving the growth of Bitget Wallet in these new markets. Furthermore, candidates must possess strong marketing and branding skills, with the ability to implement effective strategies that result in increased app user growth.

I'm thinking there are people in this community that are qualified and Interested in this opportunity. I'll be willing to share the link.  It's intentionally withheld in order not to violate the requirement of the forum. I come across opportunities on the Web3 and Blockchain space daily. What do you all think about sharing opportunities such as these?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ASC-20 ecosystem tokens surpass BRC-20? on: January 14, 2024, 09:43:02 PM
I don't know why you comparing BRC-20 and ASC-20. why not ERC-20 with ASC-20 instead.
This. ERC-20 and ASC-20 are actually much more similar as they're a kind of smart contract written in a turing complete language. That means basically, that "loops" are possible -- a contract can wait for an event coming from another contract and react to it, so an ERC-20/ASC-20 token issuer can react in a variety of ways to user behavior or related events. (That's actually not always good - ERC-20 [and ASC-20 probably too] tokens can be frozen from their issuers, for example, like stablecoin issuers do regularly.)

All this is not possible with BRC-20. BRC-20 is just a very rudimentary token platform with absolutely none of these possibilities. Basically everything you can do with BRC-20 is to speculate on its value. It's less capable than the very first generation of coloured coins and tokens that came out in ~2013/14 (Omni, EPOBC, NXT ...).
So speculating the value the right direction becomes now the burden of those who are in for the profit while some are bothering about the technology and all it's possibilities. But what do you think about accumulating some ASC-20 tokens as everyone anticipates the bull market?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ASC-20 ecosystem tokens surpass BRC-20? on: January 14, 2024, 09:35:27 PM
I believe and I hope I am right, BRC-20 is just a short time hype, there are so many other platform to develop Ordinals, I think everyone should leave Bitcoin Blockchain only for Bitcoin transaction, do ordinals in somewhere else. As far as I know, Avalanche is a good blockchain, they just need more promotion to attract developer to create more with Avalanche. I actually don't know much about ASC-20 but I wish people move from BRC-20 to ASC-20.

Right! I found AVAV scheduled to be listed on Bitget, that's where my curiosity sprang from. Developers can deploy own inscribing services, build wallet applications, develop browsers , and much more using the API. I mean Avascriptions which is the Gateway to #ASC20 Token Inscribing and Trading. like as it relates with Ordinal protocols, Avascriptions Developer Service  is open to community developers, allowing them to explore the world of Bitcoin and ordinals. Don't you think a project as these is worth looking closely at?
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ASC-20 ecosystem tokens surpass BRC-20? on: January 14, 2024, 08:49:09 PM
ASC 20 user coin community or developers are certainly more than BRC 20. and its main coin avalance is mean avax still above brc. about price or marketcap in coinmarketcap AVAX still above brc. so ASC 20 is better than BRC20.

Well, but did you noticed the spiking performance of BRC-20 tokens like I mentioned above? And I must say that investors are easily drawn to investing in such tokens with the expectations that within a short term they'll make much more profit. Can I consider that for ASC 20 token like AVAV? I think that puts it better.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will ASC-20 ecosystem tokens surpass BRC-20? on: January 13, 2024, 09:17:48 AM
Agreably, blockchain technology can be applied to a wide range of sectors and use cases, including social media and gaming as well as financial services and supply chain management, its enormous potential is becoming clearer. Considering Blockchain app development, that aspect seem to be fast exploding, with innovation through the use of Bitcoin Ordinals. Meanwhile, a close check made me realize a striking resemblance in use and functionalities between Brc-20 of ordinal protocol and ASC-20 (abbreviation for Avalanche Standard Contract-20).

If you all have been following, you already know how much the likes of ORD, PEPE, SATS, RATS and other BRC-20 tokens have been printing and I'm wondering if ASC-20 tokens like AVAV will follow suite. Please share your thoughts.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Are your Best Solana Wallets In 2024? on: January 09, 2024, 09:05:58 PM
Some of the top Solana wallets include Phantom, SolFlare & Sollet. Phantom is a user friendly wallet with a sleek interface & seamless integration with various Solana dApps. SolFlare offers advanced features like staking & governance participation which makes it popular amongst more experienced users. Sollet is a web based wallet that provides easy access to Solana's ecosystem & supports multiple tokens. These wallets have gained recognition for their security, usability & compatibility with the Solana blockchain which makes them reliable choices for managing & storing your SOL & other Solana based assets.

I didn't know about Sollet. I will check.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Are your Best Solana Wallets In 2024? on: January 09, 2024, 09:00:32 PM
I don't have this wallet except a ledger but I am familiar with phantom and isn't bitget wallet is from bitget exchange? I think the obvious thing here is that OP is advertising it with complete details together with the link. But is that wallet is providing you private keys?
With all of the choices, it's solflare and phantom that's popular for solana tokens.

You know I'm surprised there are a number of wallet that a lot of us are not familiar with, however, you get to discover them from time to time as we engage in conversations with others in these space. Bitget wallet is a Web3 wallet and is different from The Exchange. It was formerly called Bitkeep, it provide private key, I could use Mnemonics and there's option to setup biometric pincode or password as an added layer of security.

It is easy because they're airdrops but it's way easier before that you don't have to do tasks before you will become eligible for it. Like with all of those forks and availability of those wallets that you are holding their main token or mainnet token and you'll be eligible for it.

I think I have replied to similar question before. If you keep using crypto normally, and if you strike some luck, airdrops are still natural and you don't have to do anything to earn them.

For example, I got some zkfair tokens, because I'm active on zksync, this was unexpected and I didn't anything to earn zkfair token specifically.

I find it similar to what you mentioned about forks. You are holding particular coin and fork gives airdrop to holders of that coin, here you do your usual crypto stuff and some coin decides to reward you for it. What's different?

Well, if you understand this thing called retroactive Airdrops like either the OP or someone mentioned above, and you read your comment again you will completely agree that you did something to be Airdrop ZKFair tokens which is: You were ACTIVE ON ZKSYNC. The difference is that you were not expecting to be Airdrop as reward for being active. Just so you know, there are people who have found out that being active on certain chain qualifies them to be eligible for airdrop and so they deliberately engage those chains as often as they can afford to for even higher reward. I hope you get my point.

I feel you are missing my point rather. Yes, there are people who deliberately engage with chains, but you don't have to become one of them, use chains normally without expecting anything and if luck strikes then it is still a normal airdrop received without any effort.

I get your point, and I didn't say I am one. However, are you aware of the reigning term "Airdrop farmers?" These guys earn some much from these different chains for their interactions. Found someone of twitter got as much as $15k from a single Airdrop. You know the difference?  They intentional interact with those chains, provide engagements and Liquidity for these projects and gain some much for the endeavor not luck!. How about Participating in ZKFair Launchpool, do you?

I use Solflare now, used to use Phantom wallet prior, but recently there was hack that resulted in loss of funds for some of Phantom wallet users, although it was said that it wasn't Phantom related issue that resulted in loss but I decided to change nonetheless.

I don't know how recent the hack you're referring to but I slowed down my use of Phantom wallet just recently when it delay in releasing token when I want to transfer funds out. I hope it will be fixed. Do you only use Solflare all through? I love to explore other options from time to time in order to have a feel of what other tech are made of.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Are your Best Solana Wallets In 2024? on: January 05, 2024, 10:13:37 PM
You forgot the Solflare OP, for DeFi enthusiasts, Solflare is a fantastic choice. Its staking options and deep integration with Solana DeFi protocols make it a one-stop shop for managing yield-generating assets. SolFlare is a non-custodial wallet designed specifically for the Solana blockchain, offering a simple and secure way to manage SOL tokens and stake them.

https://www.solflare.com

I no longer use the Phantom wallet because of its bad ratings/reviews on the PlayStore.

You're right! I actually forgot Solflare. When it comes to Stake your SOL to start earning rewards. Solflare is an exciting offer and only take a few minutes to set up. How did I forget it? Maybe because I do not frequently use it. I use Phantom wallet and Bitget wallet more. Although recently, my phantom App started acting up when I want to transfer funds out.

Meanwhile, I discovered the exchange has recently listed ZKF and opened  a huge Launchpool for it where you stake their native token BGB to earn a share in the pool reward or trade a certain volume to also grab some share. OP also look into that. It could give you an advantage.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What Are your Best Solana Wallets In 2024? on: January 04, 2024, 07:38:43 AM
Solana is recognized as a prominent Layer 1 blockchain, is extensively utilized in Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and GameFi. For individuals engaging with SOL token transactions and decentralized applications built on Rust, choosing a secure wallet is essential. I'd like to have your recommendations of the some of the best Solana Wallets you've used. Below are my findings:

1. Phantom Wallet (Free)
Phantom Wallet stands as the leading Solana wallet, acclaimed for its secure asset management and access to decentralized applications on Solana, Ethereum, and Binance Smart Chain. Available as a browser extension, desktop, and mobile app for iOS and Android, it's tailored for broad accessibility.

Distinguished as the best Solana wallet, Phantom is endorsed by over 3 million users, showcasing the largest active user community in its category. Its interface, akin to MetaMask, simplifies transactions including buying, sending, receiving, and swapping tokens, plus managing NFTs on the Solana blockchain, making it a top choice for both experienced and new cryptocurrency users.

2. Ledger Nano S Plus ($99)
Securing the second spot in our top Solana wallets lineup, the Ledger Nano S Plus is a distinguished hardware wallet. It specializes in providing ultra-secure storage for a wide array of cryptocurrencies, including Solana (SOL). This wallet's compact design enables easy connection to computers or smartphones, offering offline management of digital assets. This feature is particularly valuable for enhancing security against threats like hacking or malware.

While highly recommended for its robust security, the Ledger Nano S Plus may present some limitations for active on-chain users, especially those who frequently engage in buying, selling, and swapping NFTs or using various decentralized applications. Each transaction requires manual confirmation on the physical device, which can be slightly time-consuming. Despite this, the Ledger Nano S Plus is highly recommended for those prioritizing security, particularly for users managing assets valued at $10,000 or more, offering peace of mind with its enhanced security features.

3. Bitget wallet (Free)
Bitget Wallet is a popular choice for purchasing Solana due to its user-friendly interface and robust security features. The Web3 wallet caters to a diverse range of users by supporting multiple payment methods.

Its commitment to delivering a secure and seamless user experience has made it a go-to platform for both beginners and seasoned cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

Bitget Wallet also offers advanced trading options and supports DApps and various decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems. These features position Bitget Wallet as an ideal choice for purchasing and managing Solana securely and efficiently.

To purchase Solana (SOL) using Bitget Wallet, you can follow these straightforward steps: Navigate to the official Bitget Wallet website or access it through your device's app store. Look for Bitget Wallet and select "Download" or "Install".

After the installation, open Bitget Wallet and set up a Web3 wallet specifically for Solana (SOL).

On the Bitget Wallet's main page, click on the "Buy" option. Here, select "Solana" and follow the subsequent steps to finalize your purchase. https://web3.bitget.com/en/assets

Let's have your opinion below with reasons.

77  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should Binance users be worried over the exchange? on: January 02, 2024, 05:13:04 PM
It depends on whether you still trust the exchanges. I am also a Binance user, but in my country, the government will soon ban it. I am not sure about the progress, but they have given 90 days to continue using it until the ban is enforced. We cannot use VPN since Binance will ban users who use it. I think it's better to transfer all of my funds to hardware wallets or other exchanges. If you want to keep your funds safe, I suggest you do the same.

I quite agree with you. It's best for OP to play safe as no one knows what these regulators are upto. The Regulatory thing have been around since 2018 but the Crypto landscape keeps evolving and surviving all the threats of the government. Meanwhile, there are good Suggestions dropped already, OP can take insight from them.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Altcoin Gems still appearing. on: December 31, 2023, 12:20:13 PM
The Helium thing is surely enticing knowing that they're offering what? $20(if I remember correctly) a month for unlimited data? That's like super cheap, especially in the United States. Though I haven't dug deep enough to know what the 'catch' is. There should at least be some downside.

Whatever the downside might be, I guess they must have thought about it before setting out to make it, all I know is users are earning some tokens of $MOBILE for using it, which can be withdrawn and traded on exchanges where it is listed. I guess they're trying to be innovative in a unique way just to make people use their products, it's fair for me.
Usually such projects have unlimited emission and soon depreciate in value. Remember the project on Solana "go and earn". At that time there was a lot of hype, but in time this project was forgotten. Where you have to do something and earn money, it is good only in the early stages. Later it will be very unprofitable.

The Helium Mobile team who tied their token to be used as incentives for their users in order for them to contribute resources for the distributed wireless network may in future come up with measures to maintain the value of the token. We've seen it done before except the team don't want to. Measures like Burning the tokens quarterly. You have a point here about projects  who starts strong and end up unprofitable.  However let's consider the team behind the project. The usecase is already in real time use. Let's see what becomes of it but for now, it's to take position.

Here's me making a request: Who knows a very rewarding campaign out there with good reward that I can take advantage of this holiday. P/S: I've explored the bounty section for some but here, I need recommendations for the ones you've personally tried that works. Thanking you..

No one, there's a lot of bounty campaigns, perhaps giving good bounties, but we don't know if the tokens will have a value in the future and that is the risk involved for being a bounty hunter. Heck, there were even projects who suddenly exit scams and everyone was left with nothing, except bounty managers being red tag.

So in that case, it's risk to join them, others might recommend you this and that project, but still you need to research and not just easily jump on that project.

It's not like it's 2017 again that even a airdrop is going to be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars. DYOR (Do Your Own Research).

Your comment makes me miss 2017, yeah. Those seasons where you fill airdrop forms, go to sleep and wake up to see tokens in your wallet. At least you see those tokens and wait to see the price movement but now you can actively enage a Platform and still miss the claiming stage. That's my story in the past 4 months. But I keep seeing some who are lucky to cash out in Crypto bounty display their gains. That's the reason I am asking for personal recommendations.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exploring Lucrative Crypto Earning Opportunities: Recommendations Needed!!! on: December 23, 2023, 10:05:58 AM
Hello Crypto enthusiasts, I don't know who's like me, always on the lookout for new ways to accumulate tokens and expand my digital asset portfolios. Having been in the blockchain space for a while, I know that various platforms, tasks, and projects have emerged, offering unique methods for acquiring tokens.

A lot more people are participating in initial coin offerings (ICOs) or token sales. They invest in up coming projects by purchasing tokens at discounted prices, often before they are listed on exchanges.

Another method employed is engaging in bounty campaigns. It's the one I need the most right now. Those campaigns that incentivize individuals to complete specific tasks to earn tokens. In the past, I've seen tasks that requires Participants to share project-related content on social media, write blog posts, create videos, or even contribute code to the project. These activities help promote the project while rewarding enthusiasts with token allocations.

Here's me making a request: Who knows a very rewarding campaign out there with good reward that I can take advantage of this holiday. P/S: I've explored the bounty section for some but here, I need recommendations for the ones you've personally tried that works. Thanking you..

Check the Task To Earn of Bitget Wallet, is a very common way to gain some airdrops. At this moment there is one event for ZkFAIR (Personally, it is my favorite network,  right now with Solana and Avalanche). You only need to perform a Bridge of ETH between ERC-20 to zKFair (or use another one like Orbiter). It is important to fill out the Galxe form and complete designated ZKFair mainnet interaction tasks via Bitget Wallet's in-app Task2Get portal.

Galxe is also a good source of upcoming airdrops (check the aptos new one as well and the Linea Tasks)

Alright, I will look this up. I've been seen a number of ZKF Airdrops recently in view of their mainnet. Is this Task to earn a some form of Partnership with Bitget wallet and I do hope the tasks are not too difficult as well.
