Ofcourse we lost a lot of miners too when the block reward drop to 15K, that is also very low... I think it was better to make sure that the min block size was 50K per block, as in two days we will again lose a lot of miners, and when it hits 1 nobody will be interested in mining. The faucets give you more coins then when you would mine it for one day.
So honestly i would suggest that DEV modify the block sizes from 1 Topcoin per block to 10K or more, so that people are still motivated to mine.
Why does it matter if the majority of miners go? This is the whole purpose of Top. Technically the coin only needs 1 computer mining to function. Many people mine low diff coins just for the fun of getting blocks, so i cannot see that there would be no miners at all. Yes, but doesn't that also mean it will be very susceptible to 51% attack? A 51% attack would be possible if most miners leave, however there should still be some interest on the coin to keep it healthy. If TopCoin gets more attention, it is actually exposed to an attack by the time it comes to 1 coin per block -if someone wants to ruin the coin or to kill the market share if it becomes more prominent-. I think that reorganizing block rewards should be considered. It would be pretty interesting if, rather than staying at 1coin/block, it would slowly climb up again to a certain reward to recover miners. Even so, we should organize the community to keep working on TOP and stop dumping it. I would love to see a true association behind this. Edit, btw what's missing to hit coinmarketcap? |

Lol very well said. As you put it, it makes no sense to dump the coin: rewards halve quickly, so coins are getting harder to obtain, it has a nice trade volume, we can extend its popularity further... If you freak out and sell low, you're just reinforcing someone else's monopoly over the coin. Please be patient and don't kill TOP |

I have been following this coin since the beginning and I really think this one could take off. The community, as well as the dev around it are very supportive and always try to keep pushing the coin forward. I can't mine but I definitely would do it with a decent GPU. But please, if you can don't stop mining, otherwise it won't keep growing.
I really like this coin and would like to mine and be able to get millions of it!

(coin future looks good I will help promote but I can't mine so please donate) edit: I am all up for helping to donate to new people but all the messages look the same Well I didn't mean to sound repetitive. If you check, you can see that I've been following the coin for a while, and I know that it is silly to get emotional over a coin, but because of that I believe that characteristics of this coin (eg. future scarcity) are very interesting and make this promising, so it's not about saying stuff for no reason. Sorry for the greedy people who just want to get stuffed with every new coin that launches :/ |
