I am receiving an "Unknown account" error once logged into AE when I try to send testNXT or buy Assets from newly created account. What is the problem?

EDIT: I created another Nxt Testnet account and have same "Unknown account" error. Please advise.

Thanks for the personal insult El3k0n.

Nxt Funds have NXT. If NXT is worth 1/32 of what it is worth today, then Nxt Funds have 1/32 of the actual dollars or Euros or gold or whatever to pay real devs, server costs, etc.

msin, I agree with you on every point you made except the part where you said you wouldn't mind if the Nxt market cap went to $1 mil.

Nxt whales have already taken $18 million of market cap out of Nxt from 50 million to 32 million today. Nxt needs new investors and needs the market cap to grow NOW. Nxt needs that market cap (price of NXT) to grow in order to attract new investors.

NXT Whales. Stop Dumping and give Nxt time to release AE. Thanks. You've taken your profit. Now invest in the future of Nxt.

Only idiots care about market cap. It's a meaningless number.

Someone would have to learn Java! Cosmos forbid! Or we clone the whole system and move.

BrianNowhere, please put together a proposal to help Nxt find Java coders and submit it to the appropriate committee.

The network is decentralized, but the core software development isn't. The lead developer is Jean Luk.  There is nothing decentralized about the core software development.

And if Jean-luc gets hit by a bus? (Buddha Cosmos forbid)

+ yes please

quote jl777, "Please say you will just implement this Preferred Issuer filter checkbox and display of +/- voting and we can save thirty pages of debating it in a circle."

wesleyh this is a great idea for implementation that helps Nxt solve the issue of Issuer Trust.

Pouncers suggested AE format asset naming format seems to make sense;

101 : BTC 345623 (Asset number hyperlinked to blockchain explorer) [Asset Description]
501 : Salt 678934 (Asset number hyperlinked to blockchain explorer) [Asset Description]

With Asset Numbers 1-100 reserved for special assets within each asset name.

With this suggested format assets don't have to be Salt1 Salt2 Salt4001 but rather the numbered part hyperlinks to the AE blockchain explorer for more info.

Make it hard for the scammers to hide.

That was almost as bad as when "Ron Burgundy" read off the Teleprompter! So let's "News Team Assemble!"

intmain() I like your idea to use the Nxt AE as a kickstarter style crowdfunding platform.

Spread the good news miners!

'Old fashoin' mining with my GPU's, but now I am mining for NXT! Love it!  Grin

One of my rigs just started mining:

+1 Also mining away, this was a brilliant idea,  Grin

Great work InfCom. Thank you for your commitment to maintaining excellent transparency in Nxt InfCom.

antanst that is fantastic! Candlestick charts in the AE (coming soon) for all assets!

Quoting bitcoinpaul, "What about individual profiles to see an overview, summarizes, nice graphics and stats about AE regarding one Nxt account? Would be the to-go place for traders to keep track of activities.

Somebody should do this immediately!"

antanst, These features are next on your todo list, correct?

quoting brooklyn btc,

"I don't know if its fair for one member of the community to speak on what the rest approve of or not. You might think some are against "The Fed" but the AE will open up huge numbers for growth, arbitrage, and the invisible hand of the market.
A stable benevolent CB or more, could help with flow and balance.
We are "trusting no one" but we are setting ourselves up like lambs for the wolves"

As far as speaking for the community what the rest approve of or not; I am a public representative of Nxt. What I say in public and in front of potential investors has the real potential to attract investment and new users of NXT.

Can you sell the same house twice? Can you sell the same fluffy cat twice? Can you sell the same bar of silver twice? No? That is what I refer to when I state that the Nxt community does not generally approve of fractional reserve banking.

Why trust a Central Bank when the free market can determine the real price and the real reputations of market participants?
Keynesian philosophies are hard to break.

Sincerely,
Brian Snyder

EDIT: If a company wants to sell stock (assets) created in the AE, then issue more stock (assets) later, and then again, and again, they can as long as the company is transparent about their actions. Then the market can decide whether the dilution in ownership is worth the potential upside the company may have from deploying the funds acquired through additional asset issuance. That example is a little like "fractional reserve" but the investors have a choice and full knowledge available to them so they can participate after completing due diligence.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NXT] NXTInfrastructure committee on: March 17, 2014, 04:30:20 PM
Good morning Infrastructure Committee,
This is a brainstorming session. We stand at the helm of the most efficient blockchain technology available. We need to set a course. We need a roadmap and timeline of Nxt goals.

My Proposed Goals:
Nxt AE release must be coordinated with an effective Marketing Campaign.
Nxt needs to (IMMEDIATELY) put together proper advertisements for programmer jobs complete with description of required duties and offered pay.
Nxt needs a USDollar to NXT registered exchange, preferably in New York State.
Nxt Point of Sale Use Case development.

We should open subthreads once the first top one or two priority projects on the roadmap are identified.

NXT Infrastructure Committee please brainstorm your ideas for Nxt infrastructure goals.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: March 17, 2014, 03:50:54 PM
brooklynbtc,

The Nxt community does not generally approve of fractional reserve banking principles, no matter how they are presented. Only free market action is acceptable. Also, the AE is in testing right now, so what you are asking us to consider is hypothetical in terms of the ability to implement.

Sincerely,

Brian Snyder

EDIT: Excellent news from NXT payment processing company Coinpayments.net website, "Update: CoinPayments.net has been sold to a trusted member of the Bitcoin community, Cycloid. His team will be running the site by March 31st and CoinPayments will continue operations without any interruption."

Anon136, exactly about the parallel chains, Nxt AMs can be 1 kb and contain magnet links with very little Nxt blockchain bloat.

Jl777 quote, "P.S. what do you think of bitcoin bridge? Doesnt that solve the crypto 1.0 functionality issue?"

I think it is a stopgap solution to having actual KYC AML exchanges for USD/NXT.

7 billion potential people that can assign ownership rights to Nxt and then trade fluffy cats (f)or houses is a huge market indeed.
