I have a proposal for all WC bag holders...(of any size) First of all, I am not on the dev team, nor have I communicated directly with the dev team on any issue. I have been watching closely, and taking part in discussions when my schedule allows... I know there is a lot of work that has taken place and continues to take place on behalf of the community (me...you). I also know that nobody is happy with the current price of WC...but, the fact that there is a price of any kind associated with WC is completely due to the hard work and dedication of a group of guys that have asked for nothing in return. There is a lot of work that is still needed, new and exciting ideas of ways to make this coin a premier crypto-currency. I can't code, or create websites, and I'm not creative, but we as a community need to rally behind these endeavors and the people with these skills with the resources we have. The two biggest things you can contribute is your time/involvement and financial resources. Please consider donating both to this effort that will benefit us all... I would like to propose that all investors consider giving the equivalent of 5% of their WC holding to the foundation. We can't all just sit and hope that something changes, we have to act. There is an error in the citizencoin-qt.pro file which forces make to use a very specific version of boost. It's a known bug, but it's still there! WHY???
Is it so hard to remove from citizencoin-qt.pro file following lines: isEmpty(BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX) {

This launch happens, its broken by design, only a small select group of people are able to mine it. You and a couple other people corner the market on mining power. Obviously theres not much competition. The dev finally admits his mistake which is a positive thing for the community because it allows us to move forward. And you and o3u don't want this relaunch to happen (remember, the one thats good for the community) because you have a controlling stake in the unfair launch that happened. It's like theres a race, and the judge holds up his pistol, the pistol never goes off but you and some other guy start running anyway. The judge says "hey no one else was able to start you guys got an unfair head start, so we're gonna start over". You are seriously going to say to that judge: "But I already ran all this distance! It's not fair I should have to start on the same playing field as everyone else!" Are you guys seriously gonna be those guys?Your complaining about wasting money on mining and you think the whole community should just give you guys a majority stake in what could become a global currency because you mined for 8 hours? Seriously? Take a step back from this situation and try to look at it from other peoples perspective. Its less than a day of lost mining. You wouldn't be trying to keep a corrupt system in place if you didn't have an unfair amount rewarded for that 8 hours of mining. And please o3u don't say you "worked on this coin". You spent less than half a day mining it. Yes, lot of hard work you put into this. And your reward should be 20% of all the coins obviously!! since the start of Badgercoin, I'm asking how the PoS is working, and how is it implemented on Linux wallets. I never got any answer.
That wallet is a test for PoS, I dont send anything or do moves to/from it. Look like something is broken, but devs dont care.

Anyone know how often you get stake payouts and exactly how the system works?
1. Let's say you bought 20,000 badgers today.
2. 10 Days from now what will happen? Will it move 20,000 badgers to the stake line of the wallet and then open a POS block? If so, how much should you receive in that POS block?
3. Then what happens over the next 10 days. Do you wait 10 more days before you unlock a 2nd POS block? Or do you begin receiving POS income each day after the 10th day?
Inquiring minds want to know.
After 10 days your coin blocks mature and start to stake. You can see status simply by holding cursor over mining icon: it shows your weight, network weight and expected time to earn reward After staking block halves and it takes 10 days to mature again. You can manage your coin blocks in Send Coins -- Inputs -- List Mode |
