Hi Everybody!

I would actually like to make a T-shirt with the coin logo on it, and the coin2-project.org address on it.  Unless I'm searching this entire thread wrong, there is nothing about T-shirts mentioned.  I wouldn't mind wearing one.... Where can I get a large graphic?

I look forward to seeing the price of this coin rise up up and up!

Hello and welcome on board !

Printed T-shirt is a very good idea and we will come back to you with large and new graphics for the front and the back Wink

A community member printed stickers and you can see a sample if you follow the link below, but nobody made a T-shirt proposal.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483847.msg7141415;topicseen#msg7141415

Finally I received my Coin2 QR-Code-Stickers Grin

I couldn't effort more but it's better than nothing...

Bus stations, Restaurants and popular public places in Germany, GET READY  Tongue

awesome can i use that too to paste it here in our country? ill put your name as the designer ^^

sure you can use it  Grin the more ppl create stickers or promo stuff like this the more popular and well-known the Coin2 might get.
So feel free to create stickers like this, or you might wanna get coffee cups, biros, shirts, whatever...

If someone want the png of the sticker (QR-Code with NC2 Logo) please let me know so I can put it up here

If you would have searched under the entire thread you would have found this here  Tongue

Maybe Coin2 Dev Board needs to be resized and keep Development of FPS and development of the actual coin seperated in two different sections.
I think it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to get one or two professionals to keep on track with coin development.
I understand that it is all about the game (FPS) but still that doesn't make a blow if coin itself doesn't stay on track...
I would love to see implementation of privacy features in C2 not just to get the price back to where it belongs but also
get back the attention of investors that lost hope and patience in C2 by not seeing lots of progress here lately.

I mean I could have left long time ago if I wanted to, but overall there has been done quite a lot and Devs have put a lot of effort in it too.
But after all you should not forget that your rivals never rest....
I see lots of improvement in so many more coins... I'd love to see more happen to the actual coin also...
I'd love to see more features of coin2 ("coin2send" or "coin2bit" or sth. that noone has done before)  Undecided

Still got hope for this  Smiley

pretty sure there's a break out in price coming soon!

Why's that?

There's a lot of reasons for it. We have a limited amount of coins (2M), waiting for improvement of SMS gateway functionality of RZR,
block reward will halving to 25 RZR soon and we pretty much reached bottom of price (it's never been that low since trading!).

I expect a blow!

This is really cool  Grin

PocketCrypto App has been released, a new Cryptocurrency Management App. I feel like C2 has lots of potential.

I think currently Mintpal is supported only so far for this app.

Where is it getting that info from, that doesnt look like the right price...

It is not the right price  Wink
It is just an example, you will see the right price in app  Grin

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is a good idea since Devs seem to work on the game and I don't know how much time is left for implementing features of the coin.
I was talking to kallisto about this a while ago in PM but maybe it is a good idea to talk about it in community as well.
Encrypted communication in crypto-currency-networks is really popular since a couple month. I know there is plenty of coins out there using implementations
of security and privacy mixed features and are working hard in developing and enhance these.
I would love to have features like this in C2.1 as we will be able to make a big growth on exchanges getting back the attention we had a long time ago. Still
primary focus should stay on game. How does that sound?

 Undecided

i say lets concentrate on the game, and let some of the work be done by others coins. Blackcoin is doing awesome ideas. and it looks like they are staying true to the community and having it open source as it rolls out.  I think we all can be strong as a people working for each other.  So excited to see how many things these awesome developers are doing.  Smiley

True, it would be nothing innovative anymore to just implement encryption and private features. This way we would be just another coin with security features....
Im impatient and cant wait for any release that brings us forward  Grin
Sure Devs are working on it  Wink I dont wanna hurry, but I would love to see some daily or weekly progress as an investor  Tongue

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ [ANN] ECCoin (ECC) ★★★ ECCoin - Green Future on: June 25, 2014, 06:55:05 PM
What happened to the coin blockchain?

Any fork? Or bad nodes? I had to re-create my local database...

I had that, too. And while syncing, it sometimes stopped for ages. Around block 90 000, slightly above 100 000 and around 180 000 I think it was.

When I became too impatient, I deleted everything in the data folder (apart from wallet.dat  Grin ), and started new. Now 3rd attempt, I am synced, finally. Sigh.

The debug.log had strange messages, if it is of any use, I can post them.

But essentially it got solved - through patience.

I got 300k ECC stuck in Stake with one confirmation only... Any solutions to solve this issue?!
 Huh

whats crab cakes?

any update on the game? I'm one of the original Smiley im not selling till I see $1 USD per C2 Smiley

Hi Nelson. I might be interpreting your message wrong. Are you really asking about updates on the game?

This is what I thought, too... No offense "again" but why does a board member of coin2 ask the community about this?
Isn't he supposed to have this information?
 Huh

Of course he has that information. He obviously typed it out wrong.

lol! he was joking of course! Smiley lol  Nelson a funny dude!

How is minting working? I can't find function that unlocks wallet  Huh

Open the debug window from the Help menu. Switch to the Console tab and enter the following:

Code:
walletpassphrase "yourWalletPassword" 1000000 true

Replace the text "yourWalletPassword" with your actual wallet password  Wink

Your wallet will start minting for 1000000 seconds now. It might take a couple of minutes to update the status bar though.

Thomas

Hey Thomas,

don't want to be rude but I really think it is not userfriendly to use console not having a staking option in wallet GUI.
Another aspect is having my wallet password typed in clear text is not an option to me. You might want to customize wallet
config and start re-programming or re-configuring some features. I mean, this is full PoS without a userfriendly option to stake coins.
No offense, but new development team might want to make things new and hopefully better  Wink

Thank you.

regs,

Wolf

Hm...  Sad
Neither news nor any visible progress on Coin2.1
I'm really losing my patience on this. I really don't know if I want to hang on any further...
I've been part of this from the very first day, even in Top 100 Richlist....

Another nice thing to have would be a feature that unlocks wallet "for staking only".
Some other PoS coins use it already and I like the idea, what do you think?
 Wink

This would only be an issue if someone had access physically to your system, if the happens, there is no reason why they couldn't just lift your private key from a backup file. So all leaving your wallet would do is save the guy 5 minutes.

If someone has access your wallet, they have already won. (yes, I know they might not have your password, but be real, is it like 8-10 letters or 50 random symbols? your password is gunna get brute forced in a few min also. After all, CRYPTO currency!)

Ok, so assuming you had a reasonable balance in your wallet and C2 price has rocketed. You are now sitting with a not inconsiderable amount in your wallet. How do you stake to help protect the network but also remain secure. In fact how would you protect yourself period. For example your house is burgled and laptop/ computer stolen with your wallet onboard. From what you are saying you are relying on getting online ASAP on another computer using the backup copy of your wallet that you keep close at all times,  create a new address and transfer the C2 to this address before the burglar has a chance to use his super duper crypto decoder program.

What do we think should be recommended "Good Practice" for folk to use when purchasing C2?

encrypt the shit out of your wallet, keep back ups of the wallet.dat, don't leave your wallet open if your not in attendance (laptop).

whats the big deal?

Let me get this right...
let us take a computer in an Active directory with multiple users where several people share a computer on a daily basis.
With a wallet "unencrypted" I don't have to say more. With an encrypted wallet you make sure noone gets access to it and spend your coins, isn't that the whole point of encryption?
I don't want to be rude now but if you don't use encryption that's your own fault, but please do not assume everyone uses lame passwords... I doubt you crack a secure password with a bruteforce software, at least not in 5 minutes more as you point out...[maybe if you're stupid and use "password" as your password *rofl*]. But in my opinion it is bullshit that if someone just has my encrypted wallet he has "won" as you say ?!? But honestly, who the hack does not encrypt his wallet nowadays?!  Wink
Now please explain how to lift a pvt key from a backup wallet that is encrypted?

who gave you the suggestion to lock it.

Well, I prefer encrypted wallets for security issues, I hope you do too. It's not like you leave your money
on a table in a club giving everybody access to take it from you, do you?
