Awesome news! Now it'll be launched for good.
We should start writing to Bter as soon as we have the client. They'll most likely add Node to voting and with such huge community it won't be too hard to get on top.
Any news on the auction and its rules? The price won't go up until you're holding 36 million coins for sale. It's a huge amount, 3.6% of the emission. It's like having the biggest initial holder who got his coins for free and sooner or later is going to dump everything with 100% probability.
And good this is calling distribution someone dumps others buy... At some point dumpers will be out of business. Dumpers is a one thing. Devs who hold 36 million coins to dump is another. They keep 60 stakes for sell. It's a huge amount. It's not 5-10 dumpers who are ready to sell 30-40% of their coins cheap. It's 60 stakes that will be sold for sure. How could anyone buy anything now knowing that 36 million coins will be dumped sooner or later. If NODE is interesting, the stakes will be bought for sure. Also the devs will never dump their coins but sell them when necessary. Their hard work should be rewarded also. |

@ Everyone!
THERE IS NOTHING GOING ON WITH THE ID GENERATOR!!! The algorithm is the same, nothing changed from moving servers!!!
Also RAXE.IO had no problem from the beginning, they just forgot to make an account!
+ The Error that that happened long time ago, after which you had to make a new account, had nothing related to the ID algorithm! It was due to the blockchain! Which was already solved!!!
+ Caps and Space sensitivity! The passphrases are sensitive to that! Make sure you entered the right letters or symbols!
Don't mislead people and stop spreading fud and depressive posts!
There are already transactions that have been made, people already made contact with each others, other bartered coins for other coins! Some already made a trade!
So be serious, we won't restart the distribution just because a few persons can't get their coins for any possible reason! Don't take it as an ULTIMATUM!! If there will be reported more that 10% cases of lost passwords! We might restart the distribution, only if the community agrees!
Our proposal is to finish with the current distribution, and than make a conclusion!
We respect you, and we will try to come up with a solution for everyone's problem!
So have respect towards other community members!

For me : 'Become your own bank' is by far the best, in case it is not copyrighted.
I do not have enough knowledge regarding trademarks and copyrights, so I can not say for sure it can be used.
This is a slogan that has a huge attraction for newbies (in finance and crypto's).
Ask someone you know that is not in the crypto scene and ask them which slogan attracts their attention the most.
Imagining they can have the power and control over their money (or capital) themselves, really attracts peoples attention.
'Safe and simple payments' is also a good slogan, however I do think that 'payments' adds a negative tone because people are tired of bills and payments.
When I hear the word 'payment', it does not make me happy for some reason.
However, 'simple and safe' in the other hand, sounds positive.
'Together we grow' sounds positive but doesn't say anything.
What are your thoughts about the slogans?
You guys should come up with your arguments why you like or dislike the slogans that were proposed in the voting system.

Which staff member did you mention this to? The issue seems to have affected several so far. edit: it was changed for me. That being said, everyone should check their IDs ASAP to ensure they're the same on the newest servers. Would be unfortunate if they had to restart distribution all over again.

I messaged koop4u initially and he replied with a fast response and fixed the issue. But everyone must check in case you cannot remember your password or if the ID number has completely changed. This is probably the most pressing issue at the current time for this project. But great design, intuitiveness and very much liking the project so far. Core security features will be a great addition. This should be definitely be in the topic title because this is a important issue for the project at the current time.

Sorry to hear that! The input is case and space sensitive! If you copy/pasted the password from a text file there is a chance that you copied by accident an extra space, either at the end or beginning of the passphrase! Try different combinations! It doesnt matter if I add 1 or 2 spaces before or after the password I still get 12336957661887674448. You said others had this problem, did you figure it out yet? You said to let you know if we got an account other than what was on the list. What am I supposed to do?

You can copy and paste this post for future reference. I will sell my stake but the price will change as time moves on.
I personally believe that the market for Node will grow from now until Feb. in a sizeable way.
Therefore I will sell my stake in August for 5 BTC until August 15th. Between Aug 15-30 that will go up to 6 BTC.
Starting September, that price will go up 1 BTC every week, capping out at 15 BTC.
At some point in the future my price will be a bargain. When you believe it is so, PM me.
Why do you put February as a reference for the growth to stop? Any particular reason? Best regards |

I will raise to 0.6 btc. Because he is offering 0.5 btc, that doesn't mean he/she is a troll. Although a stake maybe worth more, it doesn't mean you will get the amount of the perceived value. No offense, but, for a guy with Activity 322 and 3029 posts you're asking very childish questions. Yeah, I kinda take offense to that actually. First, you took the time to respond with NO answer. Second, how is it that you can't stop for a moment and consider that perhaps I am doing a couple dozen things all at the same time, offline and online and can't keep up with every detail of everything that is going on with every coin constantly. So I asked a simple question. Got a smart ass response. Thanks. You wasted both our time. Indeed it is very difficult to keep track of the evolution of crypto if you are in active in different area's. Same thing for me. It was a question to get a quick response. |

when you say a buy off frenzy do you mean sell X shares at X price and its first come first served? if so that sounds like a good idea rather than a auction
I don't like the idea because it is hard to organize this because of timezones etc. First in, first served is very luck based and I don't like luck based sales… Maybe this is because I usually end up with nothing… example: ticket sale for artist with a limited amount of tickets…. sold out before I can get my hands on some of the tickets… That is just my opinion |

There are currently 1341 stakes(slots) in the member list! The coins aren't going anywhere! It was decided that each stake per member will contain 500 000 NODES minimum! The rest can't be calculated at the moment cause we don't have 100% accurate data: -we don't know how many puppet stakes will be removed -how many accounts will be added by late members! We can estimate but that will create more confusion! The coin number will increase! If that is the answer you are looking for?! Lets postpone this question after the the puppet removal! Then we will examine all the available data and decide what and where! @ s11made I understand what you are saying! But we can't do that for the following reasons: - The auctioned stakes were determined to be in the Member list, reason is that those members invested for the other expected half of investors. Those giving us the boost to implement the first part of the project. - The development fund is not that big, and if we were to give a part from that amount to those who participated in the auction it will epuizate the fund ! - It will create a huge fiasco and will loose more time to find out who is who... and so one! + At the moment we judge only having the 1341number in mind! Why because some of the members got removed but they still have a chance to get back in the list! So we are keeping their position secured till the puppet deflagration ends! The calculations you did above are an estimation, and they are not accurate! Someone will see your post and will take it as a decision! And it will drive more commotion! Also there were different opinions about the distribution of the coins that are driven from the puppet removal, and one of them was to have an auction before the launch! So we will consider all the options, but for the time being i'm postponing this matter till 30/07! Until we will have 100% data to figure! Bu there are 2 things for sure: 1) each stake won't have less than 500 000, we will know the exact increase amount after the puppet removal 2) 60 % or 600 000 000 will be distributed tot the Members! # Late fee! I see that people have same opinion about the late fee! So this will happen! Deadline for account submission will be the launch date, all those that we'll wake up after the launch will be subjected to the minimum of 20 000 coins! @mellorbo Your post is a little late, and i find it a little offensive! Because you are forgetting how many nights and days we devoted to this project, how many hours were put in to communicating, and encouraging the team to go on! If you think that the postponed deadlines were made for the sake of it... then you are mistaking! Those were necessary decisions we had to take to keep going! But i believe that the community sticks with us not because they invested in to the project, but because they are believers, and they know that NODE will make a change! Respect to the dev team! |
