VEGA 11(mid-end card) will replace Polaris 10, so definitely we can expect price cut for RX 4xx series. Vega 10 is high end, probably will not be suitable for mining considering price/perf.

900 is good it offer a good alternative in case zcash sink, what intensity are you using?

Looks like there is bug with Polaris cards on v9.6, sometimes fans got stuck at 100%(my cards work at about 20-25% fan) , it is a big problem for remote rigs. I don't put any additional parameters in bat file. ETH and ZEC miners works without this issue.
-tt option also doesn't work. at first it worked(I set -tt 64), but after rig restart, it just followed default card fan profile(temp target 75) which is not good. drivers 16.9.2

I used to get similar hashrate with gtx1070, but rx470 has about 1.6Mhs, so gtx1070=rx470 on this coin. All other cards like Tahiti, and Pictarin chips are far behind

nah ewbf is a clear different, one is GPU heavy and use a lot less memory controller, I bet if they would share code, we can see 500sol on OC-ed 1070  SUCK AMD! NVIDIA Trol  nVdia was rekt yesterday by VEGA. Now I regret buying gtx1070, in few months new gtx1070 will be 300 USD or less. Now on ZEC nV is too damn hot, myth about nV low power usage and low temps is officially busted. |

Your PSU is very very weak, only 18A @12V. So it can deliver only 216W for GPU. More than one gpu is suicide, although I would not use this PSU for mining even with one card

Just try with USB extenders on all cards. My friends also had trouble until they put usb extenders on all cards. This is just case with Polaris. Also on other MB big problems with AMD RX cards, while old cards works great.

ATM: this miner is fastest for r9 380 with 4GB, 2x instanes are doing over 30sol/s matching nv 1070 speed  this works with 1070 (-cd) but same speed about 30ss My 380's are doing average 17 sol/s , 2 instance same/worse. 270x280x also 16-17sol/ average. |

Hi guys, can someone help me to make my rig working (6 x Asus Rx470 Strix 4gb)? As soon as I start mining, application crashes,getting error message = driver stop working. With 1 gpu, Claymore miner working normally. I tried different drivers, currently I have installed 16.9.1. (win 10-64 bit). Do I need to change .bat file or something? Does anyone have 6 rx470 card rig working as expected?

is it currently under DDOS ? Why does BBR mining come under DDOS? Its not even that valuable at the moment. Why is someone even doing this? It is probably mined by small group with FPGAs, and they are responsible for DDoS attacks. As someone said earlier this is private coin... |

I'm sure once I play around with a few of the settings like -i intensity and -pl 150 I can achieve 310 with the Samsung memory cards and 300+ with the Micron memory cards @ 150w.
What does -pl stands for? |
