No, Slimcoin uses the Dcrypt algorithm which is different, here is the CPU miner for Slimcoin: https://github.com/slimcoin/slimminer

Thanks for the reply Slimcoin, is there is binary release I can grab? I don't see one on the release tab at GitHub.

I've been mining on AMD and Nvidia for a total of almost 6 months now. I want to give CPU mining a go for the first time.

My wallet is full sync'd up and I have the right options in the conf file.

Not necessarily. Found 6 blocks with 5 cores on FX8350@4.3GHz and 2 blocks with Celeron G1610 Wink

Over how long a period of time and also, was it recently or at launch with low difficulty?

The best bet is 750TI which makes 3.6 to 4 mh/s with below 60W power. It beats r9 290x big time.
And it is only around $150.
I am replacing all my r9 series with 750ti now.

Yeah the 750ti cards are incredible, I have 4 in one rig and the ENTIRE system draw whilst mining JPC is just under 240w Smiley

Hey,

Can you please give me hashrate and power usage of stock 280x mining JPC?

Thanks.

280x cards get about 2.3 to 2.4mh/s, not sure on wattage draw though.

I see, the better search term was "nvidia code"... I was searching nvidia game credit, no wonder I didn't get hardly any results Smiley

I have sold mine on Ebay.

Could you link me to a similar Ebay auction? I can't find any.

Here's one that I found...

You could maybe also try reddit if you're a user over there.

Actually 30 billion is little bit misleading,
when you check the money supply, its currently at 2.5 bil. 35% has been mined, so that makes total POW coins at around 7 billion.

Good catch, I hadn't realised their estimation of 30b was PoW+PoS. Still a long period of time left to mine though.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 30, 2014, 01:15:19 PM

Yep, I am from Germany and it works well Wink

Hey nice. Thanks for the info.
Btw where do you get the redemp-code? I can't find the information about it from my retailer anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

In my case it was on the retailers page.

I didn't get it either when I bought mine. I think it depends of the seller (need to check though... it is far less interesting than the offer I got when I bought the 780ti: 3 free games... here it is just ingame currencies... would be more interesting if those coins were on an exchange)

Easy sold on Ebay in a few hours and gives a 25% saving on a 750ti. Interesting enough for me - buy 4 cards and get one for free Smiley

how buy 3  and get 4  do you have a link

He means that the profit made from selling the included gaming vouchers on ebay was enough to buy the extra card. Not that there is a deal to directly buy x number of cards and get another for free.

As for saving/printing the whole thread? I'm not sure.

anybody know to download this hole thread ?  thz

You don't really need to read the whole thread to get up-to-date, just the last 10 to 15 pages and even then that's still a bit much.

This is what you wallet should look like if it is unlocked for staking...

• The button says "Lock wallet" because you should have already clicked it when it said "Unlock wallet" if you put a password on your wallet.
• The tiny padlock icon is open
• There is a green tick to show that your wallet is full synchronized with the network
• Going to Help -> About Jackpotcoin shows version v1.2.0.0

The first 3 points are REQUIRED but not the last, however it's always a good idea to be on the most recent wallet.

Not sure on my hashrate at the moment because I have it on quiet mode.  I'm guessing 12-15 Mh/s.
In order not to guess i'm change output information in ccminer like that
<<snip>>
In quite mode in bottom section you will see only 'yays' but in top section you will see hashrate for each graphic card

I'm guessing that you're own personal mod and compile to get that right? Any chance you can share it? Smiley

What is the current total net hash?
Can anybody summarize each pools' share comparison atm?

At the time of making this post...

http://jackpotcoin.info/blockexplorer/ -> Network H/s: 5,406,497,951

http://jpc.hashatme.com/index.php?page=dashboard -> Net Hashrate 5.63 GH/s

Fully sync'd wallet with getmininginfo in debug console -> "networkhashps" : 49,783,815,981

So it seems the wallet is reporting 1 digit too many Shocked
