61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smartphones aren't spywares attack proof on: June 30, 2020, 08:03:16 AM
Everything that you listed is more general, not particular. Now to catch a virus on your PC you need to try very hard. Even the usual Chrome on win will not allow you to download something that may be a virus. Even with pirated content everyone knows the necessary and reliable sites with a long history where a miner in torrent is so rare find

You are 100% correct. Still, keep in mind that people will still tend to download cracks and other shady software and Chrome's "block" is very easy to go around. Some will always think they know better.
Also malware attacking directly the computer if it finds vulnerable/open ports is a reality, don't forget about those. If the OS is weak/unprotected it doesn't matter how safe your browser is.

About the torrent sites.. that's debatable. I remember that most versions of KMSpico download in background a lot of surprises.
Maybe the guy doesn't know much about chrome, well chrome can safe you from unsecured download source or websites and apps but sometimes they get through easily, some spyware are in zip or ear file and downloading trough chrome won't stop this, once you extract the zip file the game is on
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: June 30, 2020, 07:57:07 AM
Sometimes bad time always expose bad projects, when bear market took over many altcoins died off and some never recovers till this day, as for Cov-19 pandemic it's not a much different story, using the pandemic as excuse solves nothing but shows the real potential of the team, meaning the project is in the hands of the weak
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: June 30, 2020, 07:54:23 AM
Gold backed token use case is very good but not for every developers, scammers are just taking the advantage of the use case since it will easily attract investors, without real gold company and partnerships I will never invest in such project
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] One of Bitcoin's biggest bulls "doesn't even know" what Ethereum DeFi is on: June 26, 2020, 06:36:17 AM
DeFi means decentralized Finance, maybe the interviewer should have ask him what decentralized Finance is instead of DeFi? Might sound confusing using DeFi? I personally don't know what DeFi was until I figured it out that it was shorten name of decentralized Finance, I bet he knows what that is.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a corrupt team cook a blockchain? on: June 25, 2020, 08:26:39 AM
The scammers are smart, they make the node available for some and they restricted the others, I smell big red flag here, do not trust the project, it's all a well planned scheme
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Building up your reputations as a new bounty manager on: June 25, 2020, 08:22:34 AM
Sometimes the problem from bounties are from bounty managers, whenever you are still considering a bounty campaign make sure you do research on the bounty manager involved
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Scam : Crypcore Exchange on: June 25, 2020, 08:20:52 AM
The project is legit, whatever you see on Facebook is not from Crypcore team, please try to confirm If the post is officially from the team, if not then some scammers are trying to take advantage, I don't like new exchanges really, they are mostly scam but this is a different case
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 24, 2020, 09:35:36 AM
Not all scam projects are full of repetitive ideas, for example in 2019 we hoped for a new fundraising projects to take over IEO because it's not as successful as ICO was in 2017 and scammers sees this as a weak point and scam project like IMO came around, I was so hooked because it's something entirely new but yet I end up getting scammed
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Spyce Price Conditions before and After Distribution on: June 24, 2020, 09:32:23 AM
Ah, the dreaded pump and dump and put the blame on bounty hunters. LOL, But to be fair though, this is not the first time and won't be the last. I myself who have been holding a token that I participated more than a year ago and as soon as it was listed on Digifinex, it went on a downward spiral. But today, it is close to 100% ROI, LMAO, good thing that I hold on it never dump during the beginning.

I'm not saying that this coin will have the potential to pump in the future, but let's see how it goes.  Grin
After the distribution ended, the coin dropped to a very low level, and this made me very afraid when I mentioned this coin. I think that if the bounty hunter still holds SPYCE, this coin will be very difficult to increase in the near future. Yesterday, many of my friends quickly sold for $0.0068, and this is a good price for them because if they wait a long time, they will definitely be more disappointed.
Maybe you are right but what if price pumps in near future? Upon all the dumps from bounty hunters the price still stable at 0.0058, since it was trading at 0.007$ before the distribution I expected the value to drop alot but that's not the case here, I think this token won't find it hard to recover
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new project team can afford top exchanges on: June 24, 2020, 09:29:01 AM
It's true that not all new projects can afford top exchanges but we have few exchanges that aren't that costly for IEO like binance or okex, here are some exchanges that are still good and less costly

1. Hoo.exchange
2. Probit exchange
3. Upbit
4. Bithumb

These exchanges still have good results of past IEO projects

Upbit and Bithumb rarely do IEO with low projects but they look for quality even Upbit and Bithumb rarely do IEO except probit and other low exchanges. Every new project they always accommodate, even though many failures occur.
That's why Probit is losing its reputation bit by bit, if the exchange team keeps allowing anyhow projects on their exchange the exchange will lose its rank in crypto space to other small exchanges, upbit and bithumb are marginally better than Probit exchange in terms of picking IEO projects
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oikos a scam project or what??? on: June 23, 2020, 10:03:35 AM
If it's true that bounty manager already add more tokens to bounty allocation then it's good enough but bounty manager should have let signature campaign participants leave if they want to, others will join for sure.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Options trading for Ethereum! on: June 23, 2020, 09:54:32 AM
Honestly I don't know how you guys do it, options trading is like a trap, lost some bitcoins in options trading on binance, this lands me in a serious bad mood for two weeks, good for those who can handle options trading bit not for me, damn I'm not even that good with normal trading
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is ChainX a scam?? on: June 23, 2020, 09:52:23 AM
The exchange is bad, even Probit and coinsbit beats this ChainX, customer service is very low and fake volumes are on the exchange, stay away, it's Definitely like idax and p2pb2b exchange
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 40+ crypto companies comes together for one solution on: June 19, 2020, 10:32:08 AM
The well known businesses in crypto industry, BitGo, BitPay, Bitrue, Bitso, Bitstamp, Blockchain.com, Brave, BTC Markets, CipherTrace, Coinone, Crypto.com, Huobi, Independent Reserve, Liquid, Ripple and many more are doing a partnership to bring an universal PaymentID system where users be able to send and receive cash and crypto interchangeably and globally.
If anyone can make global crypto adoption possible, it's this partnership. What impact do you think this would make?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-brave-and-huobi-join-instant-global-payments-network-payid
Good move, honestly this is the only way to better crypto adoption, it's already in existence in asian part of the world through Alchemy project called alchemypay, very soon crypto currency will gain more strong community
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 18, 2020, 10:15:55 AM
Any good payment solutions shouldn't plan on implementing Bitcoin only or Ethereum only in their service, some people will have Bitcoin and some will have other coins, any crypto means of payment should accept as many as possible crypto coins, you can never tell which coin a customer is carrying.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: June 18, 2020, 10:13:08 AM
You can't predict how many bounty participants will join a bounty campaign, you can join when there are very small participants on bounty spreadsheet and after few weeks the spread sheet will consists of over hundreds of participants, bounty managers needs to think and make a move on this one.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Fundraising ICO wannabe on: June 18, 2020, 10:09:10 AM
Becareful, new ICO fundraising wannabe will rise from the deep now, I've seen DYCO and BRO so far but can we really trust these new fundraising projects? Don't take risks to find out, in time the truth will be revealed, don't rush in, I lost enough to IMO last year, I don't plan on taking such risk this year again....
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: June 17, 2020, 12:34:25 PM
This is hard to believe, you said crypto can't replace Fiat but Central bank plans to release CBDC soon, the future I see is digitalization, the time will come where Fiat won't be a big deal anymore but do find time to do research on vendors and places where crypto are been used as means of payments, you will be amused
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: June 17, 2020, 12:31:28 PM
Those who are confused about when to trade have only one plan in them, they aren't prepared for the two sides of crypto market which is bear and bull market, buy coins when price is down and sell when price is up, it's always good to hold stable coin and Bitcoin, whichever way the market headed you will make profit
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: June 17, 2020, 12:28:58 PM
I'd advise to never buy new coins the day they are released into the market because not all new coins survive this days, many new altcoins have rubbish use cases that aren't needed, if you want to hold new altcoins wait and see how they perform first
