He is just showing the big payout that has been reached at rocketpot so far. Once there is a game reach the minimum payout for the jackpot (50x, 250x, or 1000x) then there will be a jackpot round. One lucky player who play during the game will be chosen to spin the wheel. In above linked round where 4k payout reached, it triggered the mega jackpot but unfortunately the jackpot was not hit by the lucky chosen player. Players does not need to get closer to the multiplier, as long as they are playing during the game then they have the chance to spin the wheel.

Is there something wrong with the site? My balance shows minus 0.80mBTC, how is it possible to have minus balance? What will happen if I make a deposit? Will it fix this glitch or maybe my deposit amount will be subtracted by the minus -0.8?

I'm still confused about how the jackpot works, so when I cashed out before the mini or major jackpot is reached, can I get a chance to spin the jackpot wheel? and what is the minimum bet to eligible get the spin?
There is no minimum bet to be eligible for the spin chance. Any bet gives you a spin chance regardless if you cashed out or not Moreover - if someone hits the jackpot, 90% of the amount goes to the winner but 10% is split amongst all the other round participants! Everybody wins. I now realise this is something we did not explain in the original post, will edit it soon. The jackpot wheel should be an exciting event for all the players who participated in the round |

Hello, I just registered yesterday on this site cause i calculated it to be EV+ with the jackpot. I played 2mbtc everyround but it was just for the jackpot and let it play automatically all night. Which gave me 40% of chance to win in case of jackpot. So I am not too sure what changes, for example, we've had another player yesterday that went for the same strategy and wagered quite a lot for 6+ hours. Moreover - it is up to bankroll investors to take advantage of these high-rolling jackpot hunters. Since the investors don't take on any jackpot risk, jackpot hunters are good for them since they bet a lot I think as more users join the game it will all balance out. That being said I'll use the opportunity to invite everyone again to try Rocketpot there is no problem if any user on that list is a random user that is trying the site out and is not connected to admins the problem I see that if you are using in house bots to run along with the real players , it diminishes their , real players , chances to win jackpot while it should not be a problem with a 100% publicly funded bankroll , this could be if you funding the bankroll 90-95% which probably is the case , since I don't believe that a new site could attract so much money in such a short period of time did I get my point clear? Sure but there have already been random users who tried adopting the jackpot hunt strategy (some have been more successful than others). The jackpots are there to make the game more entertaining for the players - it is not our intent to design a feature and then make it inaccessible to the users We seeded the jackpots with quite a high amount specifically so that potential users feel more compelled to try it out - the game has a few players now so the chances to win are quite high! In my opinion mobile app is not too necessary that as long the gambling sites can be played use mobile phone i think that's good and they says they were concern about this and the site fully optimised for almost all the most popular mobile browsers however sorry to asking but i could not find the terms for requirements about minimum amount to withdraw or deposit

while the game itself looks very neat and there are several interesting features -
(love the jackpots and the announcement table , although it could be more informative )
it is yet another crash clone that only accepts bitcoins , thus the market is quite limited
also the questions about jackpots: are they provably fair? how can you check if the wheel is not programmed to stop at 0 forever and ever
50x multipliers are happening very often and it should give the players unfair advantage +EV if they all play low wager and hunt for jackpots
which is the smartest thing to do , by the way , given the current model
also running a house bot that bets huge amounts kind of removes that risk for the house since the bot ( or "legit" player associated with the site ) has always higher chances to get picked
and encouraging people to bet higher , so this is both unacceptable scenarios
please , test the game before the release , not after the public bankroll is announced

Something new for a crash game with jackpot on it. Design is good as well compared to common crash game, I can say that the owner works to make it looks better than the other crash sites. Really a good start so far.
Coming up to the jackpot, so the higher bet amount has higher chance to be chosen to spin the wheel once the crash reach the minimum payout for each jackpot? Can we see the jackpot winners list? It seems that you have some jackpot winners already since you launch it.

Another question: Do the jackpots come out of the crowd-funded bankroll? Or is that something that comes out of a fund provided by you?
id like to know about bankroll and how the jackpots grow / calculated and if investors cover that?
The jackpots wins are not paid from the bankroll - they are funded from the wagers (bets) and are part of the house edge. This is the reason why the game can be EV positive to the player in certain scenarios (as Ryan pointed out earlier) - the investors are not at risk however since the jackpots are paid by the house. This is also part of the reason why we decided to have a 50/50 bankroll / house profit split Someone also asked on the game chat how the jackpots grow -> so the more (and bigger) bets the faster they go up. Is there someone won the mini jackpot already? If I remember it correctly the mini jackpot was more than 0.1btc and now it is 0.014btc only so I assume there was someone hit it in the last 24 hours. Probably it was Godmode who gamble like nonstop bet with 22.22mBTC bet @3x
It seems that all players who play here are jackpot hunters only, they play fixed bet amount with low payout in a hope to reach the minimum payout for the jackpot then they will have chance to spin the wheel.

So are they gambling on an equal footing as all the other players? i.e. using real money, without knowledge of the outcome of the games and jackpots? Like team-member "Godmode" has gambled ~44 BTC in less than 24 hours ... seems pretty excessive for testing? Congratulations on the launch. This is pretty much the most impressive bustabit clone I've seen to date.
So the jackpot stuff is interesting, it should be +EV to play for a player as long as the total wagered in a round is under X. I haven't had time to calculate what that is exactly, anyone know?
Some other thoughts:
* Can you confirm/deny if you're using house-bots to play? The player data doesn't look organic for a newly launched site. And while the use of house-bots is generally regarded as unethical, I think with a bonus jackpot scheme like you have now, it is drastically worse.
* 50% commissions on investing seems pretty steep. I'd be interested in investing once I can see what the bankroll turnover looks like, but 50% seems pretty high compared to what other bankroll investing schemes in the past. (Bustabit only charges 25%, and that was high compared to just-dice who pioneered bankroll investing with 10% comission).
Anyway, nice job. Cool to see a new site.

I'd recommend recreating this thread not as a self-moderated thread. The whole point of doing the seed event on bitcointalk is that it's a neutral 3rd party place to host it. If it's a self-moderated thread, it kinda detracts from that a lot.
