61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solo mining LTC DOGE : 25x 16MH or 4x 100MH ?? on: November 19, 2019, 08:52:36 PM
So the fact I use 16 miners with 16 controllers, does not give a bigger chance as one miner with one controller?

Yeah, the more hashrate is a bigger chance, I know.
But using more miners, does -not even slight- give a bigger chance?
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Solo mining LTC DOGE : 25x 16MH or 4x 100MH ?? on: November 19, 2019, 08:43:33 PM
I am considering to try my luck in Scrypt (LTC DOGE) solo mining Smiley
Have some gear laying around, so I don't have to buy.

Is there a difference in the chance of hitting a Block between:

- 25x 16MH with all using a different payout Address? (The pool "sees" 25 miners)
- combine the 16MH in 4x 100MH using a different payout Address? (The pool "sees" 4 miners, )
- combine all the power (400MH) on 1 payout address (The pool "sees" 1 miner, however it is 25x16MH using the same address)

Does any of this give a bigger chance in solo mining?

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: October 04, 2019, 02:37:41 PM
Bad news, the reward is going from 100 to 120 when Sigma launches as 40 reward going to Gulden Advisory Board for dev funding. New rewards is 50 mining, 30 Witness and 40 Funding. I have dumped my coins that aren't in witness this morning as the price will go much lower because more inflation. Max coins stay the same it will only get max faster.

LOL!

So they even fucked up NLG more then it allready was!   Hahaha...

It is obvious that those assholes at NLG just want to earn NLG by doing nothing.
Why don't they pull in an army of cheap CPU power and -help- their network?

Nope, they take 40% of what other miners make AND the miners have to finance their Witness wett dream (free money for big stashes!)

If you putt a Scrypt or X11 miner on ProHashing, you will earn 100% of what you mine and can get paid in NLG.
So you will -only- earn 60% MORE!
This Sigma bullshit is just an extension of their world of scam and how they work...

Is Rijk even gone of this project? Or is he just hiding in the back and waving whit his Daddy lawyer power and think he is safe?

If they want this project to succeed, at first you don't take 60% of the miners income, you will GIVE them 10-20% extra.
Just to retain their CPU power and earn some trust again. NLG has pulled down enough pants by now.

Wake up at NLG and behave like a man and stand for your product!
Not this Lame Ass Bullshit like the've done before Sad

64  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Butterfly Labs Jalapeno and ASIC Miner Block Eruptors on: August 30, 2019, 11:53:20 AM
Well, I have them! Both Smiley

I even have the Jalapeno, complete with (extra) org. labels, adapter and org. box!

But I will never sell them! Never for the prices people are willing to offer for used and outdated gear here....

But you will find out soon, that this site Bitcointalk is complete broken!
Newbies or people with a low satus are complete ignored and always threaded a scam.
There is a small group of people who think they -own- bitcointalk as there personel chicken coop,
where they can stick there feathers in each others asses (yep, they call it Merit)

Good luck searching!

selling canceled
66  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [EU] 2x Antminer L3+ with 1000 watt ATX psu , 125 euro each on: August 27, 2019, 01:41:00 PM
Hi Al3x,

Shipping both miners and psu's to Montenegro will cost 40 euro.

https://www.postnl.nl/tarieven/tarieven-pakketten/Pakket/ME/10-20kg

However I prefer to sell, I am willing to pay 50% of the shipping costs.
Brings it down to 20 euro. 250 + 20 = 270 euro total, both miners and psu's shipped to Montenegro.

You ask if escrow is possible? If you -really- do, I have no other option then use escrow. (extra costs are for you)
However, If you don't feel comfortable paying in BTC or Dash you can also do a Euro SEPA bank transaction...

(also PM send with same message)

Hi Sammybtc,

Shipping to France would cost 34 to 45 euro depending on the exact weight.

I cannot do 250 euro incl. shipping due to the high shipping costs.

What I can do is 284 euro incl. shipping (if shipping is 45 instead of 34, that is on me)
And I will throw in the Huawei B683 3G router for free!

71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC send from bc1 adress tot old mycelium Legacy adress --> No BTC showing? on: July 09, 2019, 05:25:30 PM

You never believe....

After switching the blockexplorer in the Mycelium app for the 100th time, now it shows the transaction en balance (on the old phone!)

Can I conclude that Mycelium is getting worse these days?

This is not an app I can trust anymore...

I think, you said it:

[/quote]

I think the problem is with mycelium. Just change your wallet software for some that supports full segwit. Electrum, coinomi, samourai wallet..
[/quote]

Well, for now problem seems solved.

Thanks for the great advice you all!

72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC send from bc1 adress tot old mycelium Legacy adress --> No BTC showing? on: July 09, 2019, 05:18:05 PM
I can see the transaction on many explorers.

But, why does my old(er) smartphone with the Mycelium app I use for over 3,5 years NOT show
this transaction and balance?

and the strange thing is, importing this seed to a new mycelium -does- show the transaction, but total balance is zero?

73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC send from bc1 adress tot old mycelium Legacy adress --> No BTC showing? on: July 09, 2019, 04:56:34 PM
I do not use a passphrase (or pin) for mycelium, never had. (If I lose my phone, you're lucky)

I did make a 12 word seed, used it in the new Mycelium app.
Shows all my transaction, but says 0 BTC

The derivation path thing is new for me, reading right now, still not fully get it:

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / BTC send from bc1 adress tot old mycelium Legacy adress --> No BTC showing? on: July 09, 2019, 04:14:32 PM
A friend of my did send 0,1 BTC from his Coinbase account tot my Mycelium adress. ( 147BoN5GqbsjaLkPbaxqWaQKA99Sqx3TGM )

And I do not receive the BTC...

It seems Coinbase uses a bc1 (segwit) adress and he did send the BTC to my (old) Legacy adress.
This adress if from early 2016 and I still use this adress. (2016 means no Segwit activation)

Imported the seed into a new Mycelium app, and now ALL my BTC are gone!

What can I do?
How is it possible that my friend uses my legacy adress, but it shows up like a complete other adress?

https://chain.so/address/BTC/147BoN5GqbsjaLkPbaxqWaQKA99Sqx3TGM

and now says this bc1 adress:

https://chain.so/address/BTC/bc1qwgl7tqm5kgqpkskutnvvhrlgpsmw706l504qkj

How can I retrieve the BTC?

ps. Marvelous and Wonderfull how fucked up BTC today works, instead of the flawless way of transacting before the hole SegWit shithole ...
