You can vote once/day without an account AND you can register and vote one time only and it will count as 10 votes.
(so you can still keep doing a daily vote if you want, but that one time registered user vote will be as if you voted for 10 days straight).

As the post you were referring to said, most of the items there were still in early process and so there is not much that we can update on them.

The business directory is in process and we hope to have it ready within a week or so. This development also includes a simplification of the business registration/verification process and some management tools.

We nearly finished a coupons system that will allow us to significantly expand our marketing reach as it will let us post QR coupons in posters, websites, newspapers, TV and so on for people to scan and be directed to the Airdrop as well as receive a few extra coins as per the specific coupon scanned.
This means a website that has a lot of traffic and has decided to take ISR as means of payment, could also get from us a special coupon with a few extra coins for each of their clients and so they have an incentive to post that QR Coupon and that brings us exposure. We will also be present in the upcoming Bitcoin Convention in Tel-Aviv and expect to be utilizing this coupons system for all sorts of activities there.

As you can imagine, we are working in parallel on a bunch of things and some of them are very significant, yet not immediate. Hence why we are not saying much.
But as we've said before, we listen to what you tell us and so we do release on occasion some interim information on processes and things that are in the works.

So here is a quick insight into a couple of things that are in process -

We are in active development of the Isracoin Business Directory (Yellow Pages of sorts for businesses that accept Isracoin)

We are in active development of a coupons system that will allow us very broad market reach (can't discuss this in detail yet until we're ready)

The first Isracoin ATM is in the works and should be deployed within a few weeks. The unit itself is in customs right now and will take a while to get approved, since this is the first unit of its kind in Israel and the most advanced in the market today. After the first unit goes through customs, further units will be cleared within days instead of weeks.

We can now tell you that we are in process of establishing an Isracoin Exchange in Israel that will accept local Fiat (ILS) and allow local trading with ISR/BTC/ILS. This is a complex process but we have the backing to accomplish it.

There are also talks regarding establishing a full-fledged online casino exclusive to Isracoin, for the Israeli audience. To put this in context, we're not talking about some kid with a script running a game for fun. We're talking about industry insiders who, if this comes to fruition, will be making big moves regarding this. (This is a billion dollar market in Israel that is having a lot of problems because of legality issues and they are looking for solutions. well guess what, using Isracoin for gambling is legal and most Israeli's will have access to Isracoins within the next few months...)

We are also in early talks with some retail chains about accepting ISR, but it is still very early in the process.

Any further information you can provide?
We haven't heard any reports on anything of this sort so kind of difficult to asses what it going on.
Are you getting any connections?
Have you tried re-downloading the blockchain to resolve the issue? (I'm sure you have a backup of the wallet itself, but just be careful not to delete the entire data directory without backing wallet.dat up)

Hi All,

We have just completed the Phase-II registration system without Facebook and it is now up and running.
This system requires a photo-id (Accepting only an Israeli ID or an Israeli Driver's License.)

Next is the upgrading of our business registration system, to streamline the verification process to something a bit easier for the end user and combining it with registration to a Yellow-Pages system.
Hoping to have this done by early next week at the latest. (Including the Yellow Pages itself).

Once we have that, it will allow us to direct people to see what they can do with their Isracoins, which of course they are asking us.

We have some other cool developments on the horizon, to help spread the word in the general public.

Important News Update:

The Isracoin Project is proud to announce that prominent Bitcoiners in the Israeli crypto-community, Mikael B. and Shalom Cohen have joined its ranks.

Mikael B. (34) and Shalom Cohen (34) have done tremendous work in promoting Bitcoin in Israel, both from the technology perspective, as well as its adoption as means of payment in large businesses (the likes of Hotels.co.il and other large companies who are now integrating Bitcoin into their platforms). These gentlemen are also the owners of Hashware – A startup in the crypto hardware field, dealing with ASIC technologies and ATM machines.

Mikael and Shalom will actively engage in matters relating to media, increasing public awareness of Isracoin, integrating Isracoin as means of payment in large companies, implementation of payment systems, integrating ISR into ATMs, distributing these ATMs in Israel and more. They will also each be taking a seat on the Isracoin Board of Directors, which is being formed these days.

The Isracoin Board of Directors will comprise 9 members, including Mikael and Shalom and under its purview will be decisions pertaining to the execution of the Isracoin plan, its further development as well as joint management of the Airdrop coins designated for distribution to the general public, businesses and other long term components of the Isracoin plan.

Additionally we are also pleased to announce, as part of Hashware’s business affiliation with Coin Commernce (coincommerce.co) in the Bitcoin payment systems arena, that Coin Commerce will be adding Isracoin to its payment platform which is already used by many Israeli businesses for Bitcoin payments. This will significantly improve the usability of Isracoin as means of payment for Israeli businesses, with integration into websites, cash-registers and hand-held POS systems.

We're happy to say that there is a trickle of activity in the Local Isracoin system already.
The service just opened a couple of days ago and there's already some trading activity there.
We are cautiously optimistic that this will become the go-to place for Israeli's to trade ISR vs. local Fiat.

As we've mentioned, we are also working on the first Isracoin ATM in Israel and hope to have that happen very soon.

We have answered this at least once before and said that we are working on releasing this info in the form of a website that provides the information directly from the registration system. (A directory of businesses, if you will)
Furthermore, we need to make sure businesses that have registered, give us permission before we release such information and we cannot just start putting out the info without being certain we've covered that.
And last, we are still verifying that said businesses are actually accepting Isracoin and that is a process that takes us time. (some businesses don't yet know how to actually implement this and so it takes time to get there).

On top of all that, we have a bunch of other things we are working on (such as registration for Airdrop without Facebook, for example, which we received multiple requests for from the public, helping people with their new wallets and a bunch of things in between).

The technology is not ours, but we will do our best to open it for others who may wish to invest in such machines.
We'll know more as we progress with the first one.

Improving our communications is key and we try to learn from your feedback.
Therefor and in contrast to our usual approach of only speaking after things are actually done and ready to go, we would like to give you a glimpse to something we are working on and is still a bit raw:

We can now tell you that the first Isracoin ATM in Israel is being contracted for.
There is no ETA yet, although it may very well be just a matter of a couple of weeks and we will be doing our best to accomplish that.

One thing of note regarding the ATM, is that besides letting people buy ISR through it with Fiat, we are also working on making it an actual Airdrop kiosk, in order to significantly broaden our Airdrop reach into the general public.
This is new. This is big. This can make a huge impact for the adoption of Isracoin in Israel.
