Stay away from such projects which give high APY.
Rules: Supply and Demand.
They get people to stake tokens by luring them with high APY, then the circulating supply of tokens decreases in the market, and the price of the token shoots up. (since the supply is less and demand is high... Demand is high because more and more want to take advantage of this High APY)
But when the unlocking/unstaking of tokens starts the price starts to drop. (people will have more tokens than before, yet they are at loss because the value of tokens is very low).

I think many casinos don't have this feature because that'll prevent them from making money, casinos don't care if you lose all the money you have and turn an addict instead that's their wish for all their customers so they'll keep using their platforms and makings them wealthier.
Yes, not every casino site has this feature, but almost every website has a "Responsible Gambling" page. Where they've explained that it's for fun. Just like you buy a ticket to see a movie that cost you money but you still buy it for fun/entertainment. After It depends on how responsible the user is when he/she gambling. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than the inability to control yourself and your desires. I completely agree with you. A gambler should know how to control his emotions by himself. That's about DEXs. However, connecting your web3 wallet to an unknown site could lead to your funds being stolen. Have you ever heard about wallet drainers? This is a few lines of JavaScript code that first asks you to connect your wallet and then it'll ask you for spending permission once you give that permission/click on "Allow" your funds will be transferred to the scammer's wallet. Don't invest just because someone is saying it's going to be the next big thing. Always listen to yourself if you think it can perform well only then you invest or else leave it. They have a wallet and a DEX coming out but don’t really seem to be going anywhere probably because of the bear market.

Web3 should be decentralized, but as long as Web3 projects are using the ethereum network or any other centralized network, they will be centralized. So, basically, yes you have some missunderstanding of what web3 actually is. So, they either develop their own decentralized network or develop their projects on a decentralized network or they risk becoming totally dependant on a centralized network.
The fundamentals of Web3 are decentralization and blockchain. Developer use blockchain for their projects but fails in decentralization. However, if they do make it, I doubt we'll be able to use it. Some projects have good utilities but their tokenomics is very bad, if you don't know this do try learning the difference between good utility and good tokenomics because it is very important and this will help you on your future crypto investments. Indeed true. Initially, I was eager to invest in APTOS coin, but after seeing their tokenomics I changed my mind. The issue is. 82% of the supply is staked. And nearly 94k new coins are coming in the market on the daily bases. I think it would was good if locked tokens were not given any staking rewards. Huge Binance outflows - should we be concerned?
IMO, binance will not collapse like ftx. However, Still we should not hold our funds there. Keep your funds in a personal wallet. They were tagged as the cause of FTX collapse when Kevin Oleary pointed fingers at Binance being the reason why FTX lost a lot of funding and eventually lead to bankruptcy.
Thats actully true. CZ was behind the FTX exchange's bank run his tweets created panic. |
