61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Pls help me decide on: December 20, 2021, 09:48:14 AM
You will get same hashrate of both cards mining ETH, a 1660 super can give you 30-32MH while rx580 will do the same so if I were in your shoe ....

1. I would buy the cheapest
2. I would go for the less consuming graphic card which is the gtx1660s rx580 consumes more energy
3. If you have free electricity then go for any you can get
4. We are slowly going into bear market it's a bad time to buy now because you can buy at cheaper rate very soon I would shill if I were you

I'm hearing rumour about how good rtx3050ti are good for mining though power consumption wise can anyone confirm this for me? I'm only seen 3050ti in laptops not standalone graphic cards
Don't trust rumors. Graphics cards in laptops are a very bad option for mining right now.
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3050-rumored-to-feature-8gb-ram-might-compete-with-intel-arc-a380-with-6gb
If you like rumors, then analogs of the rtx-3050 should be on sale next year.
The rumour is only about 3050s in laptops, I've used a MSI laptop with 1660super to mine before and after making my money back I sold for good price, saying that laptops are very bad for mining is wrong, my 1660super laptop delivers 30MH mining ETH I got over 2$ per day starting January of this year

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: December 17, 2021, 06:03:21 AM
You don't need to stay away from meme coins just makes sure you know how to identify the good ones among the rest before investing money, some meme coins are good and some have play to earn games integrated, some even have doxxed team so use the money you can afford to lose and take profits when available
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 on: December 16, 2021, 06:58:24 PM
Could be very hard to find a compatible mining software for this GPU since it's too old but the easiest way is to download Nicehash software and do some benchmarking maybe you will find one or two algorithms that will work for this GPU
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELON MUSK BECOME AN INFLUENCER on: December 16, 2021, 04:23:15 PM
For how long? Cos he isn't the first and he won't be the last either, in the past crypto always have some influencers for a while and as time goes on they lose their magic touch, I just hope he maintains his power and not misuse it cos if that happens everyone won't take him serious anymore
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 15, 2021, 05:45:14 PM
Very useful in a world where many people are struggling, axie infinity has proven that Play2earn games can help alot of people around the globe and fortunately many more have been released from thetan arena to wonderhero and many more, if you are having financial difficulty do look into crypto games even if you are older
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Arrow Glacier upgrade / ETH minable till June 2022 / difficulty bomb delaying on: December 15, 2021, 03:01:31 PM
I am expecting a new hardfork soon but one thing is sure I will never move from pow to PoS algorithm and I'm certain that many miners won't either, also ETH pow might be postponed once again I believe cos this have happened many times already, if the worst happens then I will start mining coins like ravencoin ergo and others for future sake
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using computers at work for mining - what if? on: December 14, 2021, 09:41:25 AM
You aren't permitted to do so better to ignore and move on or risk getting screw over at work, what's more important to you? Mining with companies computers or having a job secured? Save yourself the trouble it's not worth it
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking usdt off exchanges on: December 14, 2021, 06:25:28 AM
We can suggest you stake your USDT or USDC or others in the ledger because you can monitor your coins while you stake and you do not have to send the coins to any exchanges as that can be a risk for you.
That will be better to avoid the risk so you can feel safe while waiting for the return from the staking process.
But so far, I have used Binance to stake some coins such as USDT, BNB, and others, and I do not have a problem.
I only use some small portions to the stake because I know the risk of staking with Binance.
I'm looking forward to stake with binance exchange but I will like to know what's the risk of staking with binance like you stated in your post? Actually I've never heard about any negativity on binance exchange so the question is have you? If yes pls share
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to the crypto market now? on: December 13, 2021, 03:03:04 PM
It's getting really harder for BTC to retrace 52,000$ level since weeks now and many still believes that bull market is still here, even after all the accumulation of BTC from big companies high surge isn't happening, asking about what happened after BTC reached 67k from 3800$ since march 2020 is like expecting too much from BTC
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1050ti + I7 7th gen on: December 13, 2021, 01:02:52 PM
1050ti? I'm not sure if a 4gb GPU can still do the work very well today unless the coin you want to mine is new coin, you can easily get the work done by installing Nicehash mining software on this pc and do some mining benchmark you will see the easiest coins to mine on your GPU (1050ti)
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market is inevitable on: December 10, 2021, 05:13:50 PM
The bull market is fading away bit by bit, I hope people can easily see this already, sit down and do some calculations, BTC was 3800$ in march 2020 and BTC made it up to 68,000$, many altcoins have done 10x to 1000x for example shiba inu, we have seen bull market already just accept it and now bear market will slowly crawl into the space
I know that the bear market is inevitable.

But with what you've said, I've come to realized that how far bitcoin went since last year up to the peak of this year.

So what if we start from $68k and next year or maybe not next year but just look at how much % gain it can make within a span of a year if the same trend and bull market stays.
Many people don't sit down and do some calculations, BTC have spike so much that when bear market strikes it will be devastating yet many are waiting for another BTC all time high, even if it happens dump will follow instantly
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU scarcity no more? on: December 10, 2021, 05:58:13 AM
I hope you seeing the path that crypto market choose presently? It looks like crypto bulls are not strong anymore, BTC rise from 3800 to 67000$ in just a year and yet some are expecting 100k if this isn't greed I don't know what else to call greed, bull market is finally over so do not buy any GPU again, wait for few more weeks and buy GPU at good lesser price
75  Economy / Economics / Re: A majority of Gen Z investors think crypto will make them millionaires on: December 09, 2021, 05:36:59 PM
Honestly this topic is on point, I was brainwashed with changing my life in one swing shot at crypto this year and I was sitting on huge gains but the idea of making it big seized me down thinking I deserved more and I watched the good money slowly faded away, I invested 2000$ and made 22,000$ and still failed to take profits, now the profits are gone I ended selling at 4000$ when I can't stand it anymore
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is safe to buy coins that are only listed on one small exchange? on: December 09, 2021, 07:17:29 AM
We don't buy altcoins because they are listed on binance exchange and other big exchanges, remember that all coins started from small exchanges before they get listed on big exchanges, for example a new coin must have  a certain amount of market cap to get listed on binance exchange
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why projects takes forever to launch? on: December 08, 2021, 04:38:20 PM
So many people are still mining pi and believes that something good will happen in near future about this project, I'm not saying it's impossible but the fact is they have no excuses for pretending to launch years ago and they did nothing where as new projects get launched in a week or two and get listed on big exchanges in just a month, it shows that those behind pi network are not serious
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard for PCI Express v4.0 RTX 3070 on: December 08, 2021, 07:48:09 AM
Hi pal, I have 3070s and 3060ti that are mining as we speak in motherboards with pcie 3.0 slots, you will have no problem running this graphic cards in a motherboard with pcie 3.0 slots, good luck

Thanks a lot @Ceyflix-Rez. Glad to hear you are mining on pice 3.0. There seems to be 4 types of PCIe slots, x1, x4, x8 and x16. Do you use pcie x1 slots or any other type ? I've heard different PCIe slots has different voltage.
What you need is riser for the graphic cards so either x1 or x4 or x16 they will all work with risers and make sure the riser you buying is 007 or 009, I don't have much lucks with the older risers, just check the number and buy they work so well
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying in this market downturn? on: December 07, 2021, 06:01:10 PM
Every red market is a perfect time to accumulate more coins but many people panic sell instead, buy strong altcoins like polkastarter, polkacity, solana, avalanche and many others, once market start recovering you will earn back your money instantly, buy low and sell high
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KMSPico Malicious Windows Activator Stealing Crypto on: December 07, 2021, 11:08:33 AM
What?  Shocked oh my God thanks for sharing this OP cos I use to activate my windows OS using free windows activators like kmspico, this is why it's better to always purchase your keys instead, if you can pay for antivirus and VPN services why not windows key?
