61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: March 02, 2021, 07:32:11 PM
Crypto has come to stay, but the truth of the fact is the more government tries to go against crypto the more such coin gets popular and becomes bullish in the market.
But for you saying people should buy Bitcoin and run away, l personally is not in support of that.

Wow.. Thanks so much for this write up.
You just remind me of my year one first semester course back then in the polytechnic "Introduction to Computing", But thou, I am not saying I was very good in the course oh, but at least I can still remember few things.

That if a certain condition is true, it turns “ON” and goes “OFF” when the condition is false. And that Logic Gate accepts the input and operates on a required condition.

And that there are seven types of Logic Gates. Which include:

NOT Gate (Inverter)
AND Gate (Multiplication)
OR Gate (Addition)
NAND Gate
NOR Gate
XOR Gate
XNOR Gate

So thank you once again for sharing this.

65  Other / Off-topic / AFRICA: The Way Forward on: December 12, 2020, 02:32:53 PM
Hello guys... Welcome back again.. Today I will be talking about the way forward for Nigeria & Africa at large.

The slow pace of industrialization in most African countries have caused a high waste of natural resources over the years. The waste can be minimized effectively by processing and packaging industries, converting them into value added products widely transported and distributed.  Orange for instance can be processed into a variety of products such as juice, canned and bar etc, which also applies to other fruits too. If all these fruits are perfectly utilised by the indigenous processing and packaging companies, the high profit margin will motivate people into farming.

These investment will trigger sufficient food production for consumption and for export therefore creating weather for millions of Nigerians, lucrative jobs to cut down the rate of unemployment and crime, improve the standard of living and also making life better for citizens and there will be peace in the nation at large.

So, thanks for reading this article, if you have anything to say, you can share your opinions too. Thanks

Yeah.. I agree with you with the following points. Parents, peer group (friends) and  the society at large indeed have a roll to play on how a child behave.
Because I know of a 5yrs old little girl, my neighbor's daughter, who finds it very  difficult  to say "Am Sorry" and yet the parents don't do anything about it,  and if she happens to grow up with that attitude, I bet you, it will be too late for her..

Interest by hodling Bitcoin can be generated in two ways, short term or long term, but long term is most preferrable, as the price may increase with dollar rate as the time gets by, but apart from that, other ways you can earn interest with your Bitcoin is either by trading, staking or lending it out to be paid back with interest on a given date.

71  Other / Off-topic / IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT on: December 03, 2020, 11:29:54 AM

If you can think about a certain goal, and if you believe you can achieve it, you will most probably achieve it, provided you add another ingredient to the equation, and that ingredient is strong desire. Without a strong desire, no one strives to achieve anything. You may day dream about earning merits, entering a higher rank and making more money on Bitcointalkg, but none would come true, unless you have a strong desire to succeed. A strong desire pushes you forward, and gives you the motivation, energy and persistence to act, do things and succeed.
What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve, and it is true in every area of life. It is true in simple everyday life, and it is true when you pursue a major goal.
If you want to stop getting angry or stressed, and you believe, it becomes possible.
If you want to get more merits, increase your rank or make more money on Bitcointalk and you believe you can do, it becomes a reality. All you need is conceive an idea how to do that, believe it and have a strong desire, and this too, will eventually become a reality in your life. Because some of the goals might be easier and faster to achieve than others, and some might need, time, perseverance and patience to achieve.
So, always remember that what the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve. Repeat this thought when you are discouraged, and when you are about to quit and give up, and remember this whenever you have a dream you wish to achieve.

So Note: 💪💪
You can achieve anything, if you believe you can achieve it, and do the necessary and not let thoughts to the contrary to enter your mind.

So, here is a an article which I came across, for newbies (like me). A guide on how to earn Merits👇👇 you can also check it out. Thanks

72  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merits? Stop asking this question frequently for newbies! on: December 03, 2020, 07:07:39 AM
Wow! Thank you so much Jademaxsury for your well detailed and comprehensive article, because your article came indeed at the very right time for me. I am new to this Bitcointalk forum and I was about to ask same question, but this article have answered everything I needed to know about how to earn merits and rank.
Thou, I know its never an easy task for beginners like is, most especially me who is still struggling for even one merit, but what keeps me inspired is that even "Full members" and "Legendary members" were onces beginners like us, which means if only we could establish a posting habit, provide quality post, respect co-users, establish relationship and focus on not only earning but also learning in this forum, we too will do better in merits and rank.
So in summary, I was able to capture three things in general, that for you to be able to earn merits and rank, you have:
1. To be helpful enough in the forum
2. Be kind to other users, and
3. Be responsive
