scrxxx you are doing a good job in this multipool. Keep up the good work. Although I don't know how much your fee is, but the payout seems to be much much better then x11 multipool or any other algo I can find. Please let me know if I am wrong Smiley

You are correct, the payouts are higher than other pools and other algos. At least for now.
I regularly check poolpicker.eu to see what's going on.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] BoostPool.com - Optimized AMD GPU multipool - Groestlcoin payouts on: September 11, 2014, 01:06:08 AM
Hi all!

Some people demand transparency and I came up with a "Pay Per Speed" payment idea for GRS miners (BTC mining stays PROP for now).

This is a variation of "Pay Per Share", where each for each "Accepted" share you are given some coins.
Because the miner can switch between algorithms, share from one algo has different price from a share from other algo.
In order to overcome this, I'll be "buying" your hashrate and paying proportional to your mining speed.

Each day there will be a GRS price per 1 MH/s of hashrate mining 24 hours straight. I'll be publishing it in twitter.

This price will be 1000 GRS per MH/s for tomorrow. The value will be set once a day during payouts. Similar to exchange rate in banks.
So you can decide for yourself if you want to mine on this pool or not before even doing any mining.

This way, any risks like incorrect forks or "bad luck on pool" do not apply to you.
All risks are on pool operator.

Of course, the statistics will show your detailed hashrate and you'll be able to see in real time how these numbers increase.

For example, if you have a 600KH/s R9 280X and you mine for 12 hours on my pool, you will get 300 GRS (0.6MHS * (12/24) * 1000GRS = 300GRS).
This way you can immediately decide if you want to mine on boostpool.com today or not: just take your hashrate, multiply by per MH/s price and multiply by GRS price and you'll get your profit in BTC.
Compare it with other pools using poolpicker.eu and decide. For example R9 290 is 930KH/s (0.93 MH/s), GRS price is 0.00000200 BTC. That gives you 0.00186 BTC per day.

Or if you are GRS supporter, then just mine here. The price will continue to rise every day until a certain level (I think 500 - 1000 satoshi). Then it'll be harder to predict, we'll see...

Please note that 3.5% of total GRS payout will be donated to GRS community for paying for various projects. For example, if all GRS miners got 64,000 GRS paid one day, then donation is 2240 GRS.

PS: This way the payouts can also be simplified and run not manually once a day but automatically every hour. I'll work on this later, now primary goal is to show proper stats.

Thanks
srcxxx

Notice: cryptohunger.com:81 and grs-sgminer are going to be retired on 31 October 2014. Please migrate to boostpool.com before 31 October. See details here.

is it because of the scam??

haha github removed..

yes.. I think it is because scam  Cheesy

Wrong guess. But whatever, I don't care...

Then why did you remove the github shortly after someone exposed the scam?

I did not remove it, I just rebranded it into boost-sgminer. And the link is still available on 1st page of this thread.

https://github.com/BoostPool/boost-sgminer

It even has a comment for curious souls like you.

I understand that you want to get paid for youre work.
And if everything works, Good job.

Just be transparant.   everything needs to be clear.
No hidding things, deleting things,  answer questions like a proffesional.

And take let's say..  10%

And give the other 10% to youre miners.

I can ensure you, You will get more miners and earn the same.

Edit: 10% is still allot if you ask me.

But... it is good for a multipool!

hmm it's good for groestl holders.
You need to buy grs because payouts on youre multipool are btc / grs.

so value of grs goes up.  And because youre a dev, you have a big bag of grs.  so everything is on youre profit side.

More than half of multipool miners get BTC as payouts, not GRS.

As for GRS - yes, it's good for GRS.
And no, I don't have a big bag of GRS. But I have enough and I bought them myself for around 400-500 satoshi on mintpal and poloniex a few months ago.
I did not get them for free, like the 5% that DMD devs get or AidBit. And I did not get them from premine.
I posted even long time ago, that I see GRS price at 700 satoshi or even more. I tried to hold the price previously, but could not.
So it went down into 100+ satoshi range.

Now I have means to hold the price. And I am going to move it to 500 or even to 700-1000.

Wanna get some profit? Buy GRS now and sell in 1 month or 2 weeks.
The price has already risen from 105 to 180.

PS: Not sure if you know, but I am also paying out 10% of grs fee to support Groestlcoin.

Why do you state cryptohunger.com fee as 20%?

Where did you even get this number?

From that "HR" guy?

After all, look at block explorer and do your own maths.

Actually, I thought more on this and I take your point. Having this optimized miner is not good for a coin, because of the fee dumping.
And BTW, I did not dump it. I was selling it and trying not to go too low. Cause I could just drop millions of DGB and probably it wouldn't have been that nice for exchange rate.

But... it is good for a multipool!

Cause on multipool, especially the BTC multipool, miners don't care about anything other than the price they are getting per MHS every day.

And I am stating that price and even publishing transaction IDs.

If you want to see me as the dark force of crypto world... So be it. I'm fluttered.

I am not transparent and I don't want to explain myself or provide details... Just leave my pool if you are not happy.

PS: I'm deleting only stupid posts. Like "you're scammer" without providing any proof or explanation.

this is the same scammer that took 20% off all groestl miners?  http://cryptohunger.com:81/

if my post is deleted I will consider it a yes Cheesy

if its not.. can you please provide information needed to see that you removed those lines from the miner?? until then I will assume this is 20% scam as well

People wouldnt care if you were honest from the beginning but now youre just a scammer.. nothing else.

Totally agree, He deleted my post pointing this problem, scimming whatever you want to call this.

People did some calculations and yes youre getting more hashes.
You also pay more for youre electricity.

When i'm investing in a coin and that's what mining is, i like transparancy.  Everything need's to be clear. no hidden fee's etc etc.

Please take a read and judge by youreself.

I'm not going to delete this post. I don't like when somebody calls me a scammer.
I really hate it. Cause I'm not a scammer. I am a professional developer and my time costs a lot.

I never disclosed my fees, so I did not lie to anyone. And I am not going to lie in future. The hashrate that you see is what you are paid for.
And If I can make mining 5X faster, I'll create a miner with 80% fee. Just wait for it :-)

You don't like it - don't use my miner and my pool.

I even changed the wording on cryptohunger.com:81 to this:

What you see in grs-sgminer is what you are paid for (your displayed hashrate is premultiplied by the fee). No other fees on top of that.
Fee is undisclosed and is rather high. If you don't like this - please find some other pool

why don't you say there is a 20% fee when using your miner? I cant see it written anywhere..

im sorry but hidden fees is scamming.. dont matter if you like it or not.. it IS scamming.

fuck off

I do whatever I want. I write whatever I want and don't write what I don't want to write.

I am not going to disclose me fees. That's my position.

of course you can take whatever fees you like and scam how many people you want but dont expect everyone to just sit and watch while you do it..

people are going to call you out on your scam

I take 20% off all blocks that you are mining and dump that on the market.
You get 10 maybe 20 % more hash And you pay more electricity costs.

Thank you for making me rich.

Something like that.

Exactly.. he advertises this as an optimized miner which makes people think they will get more coins for same cost when in reality its something like this:
-same amount of coins
-higher electricity cost
-lower value on coin you're mining because srcxxx is dumping the 20% fee

so everyone loses except for you.

Not true, but whatever. I am not going to persuade you.

I can even keep this post of yours here if you like.

Fair and to the point.

For some miners this is bad and I recommend them to move on.
For some miners it is ok and they stay on the pool.

And BTW, there are wattage measurements somewhere in grs-sgminer forum, so that is not hidden.

Mining is fine.

If you need to specify a failover stratum server, please use stratum+tcp://optimizedpool.com:3333. This is a temporary server, I'm using it for development. Don't set it as primary server, only as secondary.

haha
srcxxx scamed some miners on his "opti" dgb pool
he dumped a lot of dgb with his double wallet trick

take care about this pool too !

"come on my pool....
t's optimized ... blablabla..."
and then he grab a lot of coins for his dumping:d

cheers

I'm not even going to delete this stupid post (even though I could).

There is no "double wallet" trick. There is optimized kernel which is a lot more profitable than sph-sgminer. I wrote it. I'm getting fee from it.
I don't see any problem with that.
My kernel allows my miners to get 10% - 30% more profit and it allows me to get some fee from it.

I'm going to write these optimized kernels for other algos as well. It just takes quite a bit of time.

As for dumping DGB... Of course I sold them, I have no use for them. I am only interested in BTC and GRS.

Thanks

Possibly, the overclock values are too high.

Could you share your configuration please? And your speed.

Thanks

It should be fine. I haven't done the per-worker statistics yet. Should be done shortly (this week probably).
Sorry about this.

If you are getting "accepted" in grs-sgminer, then all is ok.

PS: If you are worried, please PM me with your wallet address and I'll look it up for you in the backend system.

Any failover pool to recommend? When I try to do fail over to cryptohunger, the hash seems to go haywire.

Hi!

You are correct. The failover server is being set up and will be available shortly.
If you really need to write something right now, please use stratum+tcp://optimizedpool.com:3333 But it is not working yet.

PS: Later the stratum servers will be available at sf1.boostpool.com and ny1.boostpool.com (for San Francisco and New Work locations respectively). But right now it is not possible, as the allowed server names are baked in inside grs-sgminer.
