61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: January 27, 2021, 02:54:34 AM
With the recent launch of the Covid 19 vaccines, will it affect bitcoin, I assume that the Covid 19 vaccine will make the economy stabilize again, will this also affect bitcoin?  will bitcoin weaken or vice versa?

We are currently in a bull market and I think it has a little or maybe no impact at all. Institutions investing in crypto and using it as a hedge fund is what drives the bull-market currently. The effect of having the vaccine to the economy as a whole might not show a great impact as a whole since there are still some countries who are seeking vaccines to aid the pandemic and are still recovering from the demise it has brought. Even the last pandemic only affect the market for a while, it recovered as soon the lock down period started to ease up.
I think so. Covid-19 is no big deal in crypto world. Anyway, hopefully the virus will be gone as soon as possible

For me, the Ultimate winner of the bitcoin pump is the bitcoin hodler  or trader who was able to take profit during the bull run and re position himself/herself trading or investment strategy to be able to take up and refill from the bears market.
I wish I had bought bitcoin when it's cheap

The better way to get high returns is to hold for a long time Wink
it requires a tranquil mindset

Well, it would depend on the interest of the majority in that current part. Not everyone in Wall Street wants to be part of crypto but there are some who want to be and probably are HODLing different cryptocurrencies. As a part of the crypto community for quite some time now, I believe it's good to invest in this market, especially Bitcoin. The catch is if everything goes sideways, don't blame it on someone who suggested it. It should be taken with a grain of salt type of thing.

Everything that is considered an investment is a risk already, it's never going to be sure but the management of risk is a necessity.
be ready to take the outcome when doing anything risky

Such is life, because if someone dies nothing can retrieve his assets except that it has a successor who knows the rudiments of everything that belongs to him, so relating it with cryptocurrency, is very clear that if someone dies and left some bitcoin and the person to write out the private keys in any document it's very easy to use it's bitcoin but a process whereby no private keys automatically the coins has been loss, so it's advisable since we know that the only source to get our coins when we are in sick bed or no longer in existence is to write our private keys out as I said initially from my statement.
at the same time we need to make sure that the private key won't be stolen

I DO believe that when a large institution buys bitcoin, the price will rise because wealthy people are likely to follow these institutions...and then it becomes scarce then expensive
