So, while you all bicker and yell and panic like little children, MintPal just released an update. Wasn't as big of an issue as they thought. Trading will be back open soon, but your WC wallets are now unlocked if you wish to withdraw/deposit. Some simple advice I have for every one here posting ridiculously stupid stuff. STOP BEING IDIOTS. Even though you could understand how a lot of people might lose faith after the recent debacle, I’m glad to see people are not giving up just yet. In fact, the resuming of WhiteCoin depositing and withdrawing on MintPal has actually lead to a price increase. Over the past 24 hours, the WhiteCoin value increased by over 40%, and is nearing the 1,000 Satoshi mark again. From what we heard about the “user” WhiteCoin client, there could be a small delay in distribution. We have not received an exact ETA yet, but users do not need to worry, as we will all get it when it’s ready. Like we stressed yesterday, quality work takes time and needs proper testing. First we have to make sure the exchanges don’t run into any issues, and after that, the rest of us can upgrade their clients too without a problem. We will keep you updated as we receive more news. Where did you get this oinformation from? Can't find anything on Mintpal twitter. Also Mintpal claims that it is Whitecoin issue and not a Mintpal problem. Seriously? Please stop wasting my time and everyone elses. The wallets are CLEARLY unlocked at MintPal. Just log in and look. No, trading has not been re-established on MintPal. It is open on Crypsty and Bittrex and possibly others.

How can a coin double spend with multiple confirmations?
Also, Cryptsy and Bittrex are still trading WC.
I have a feeling MintPal f'ed up, rather than a true double spend...

looks like there's a temporary pause in the selling of WC. sellers getting tired of clicking the sell button repetitively throughout the day  Not enough buyers to combat the multipool bots, so why try alone? Everyone is holding their coins. I love it. It's only low from non-human influence. But, nobody is budging. Stability. Love it. |

i now its late now but it would be 100000000000000 times better if it was X11 insted of stupid old ugly script..there would not be asic and mutlipools killing the price
The same amount of coins would be in circulation regardless of algorithm. With multipools mining, you know when dumps are coming, easy pickins. I lost money that way... :-/ |

How many blocks are left? Im going to buy when we're at about 300 left. That's likely when everyone will start to buy them up and a huge pump will happen (guess, from BC comparison)
When mining is done, it'll take only 10 hours for the remaining 5 million at wafflepool to be auto sold. Price is going to jump... And those 200k every 20 minutes aren't going to slow it down one bit.

Waffle pool is still mining and dumping as hard as they can. There is an impressive amount of buying pressure, but I think at some point today a natural sell off combined with waffle pool dumping will crash it below 1400 satoshis, if not lower. Still 5.3 million coins left to dump by waffle pool and they keep mining: http://wafflepool.com/statsThey sell as soon as they confirm. 200k at a time, with the current buy/sell volume, you won't even notice. Yes, they havea lot of coins. No, they won't sell them at once. They're not going to factor into the price until all mining is over with and they continue to sell. |

It's a group of whales about to tank the price to sub 1000sats. Don't say I didn't warn you. On that note it is a good opportunity to ride their coattails and make more coins along with them.

Interesting pool, can you someone posy scrypt-N profits MHs per day (last one please), it will really help miners to make a decision  ^^^ what he says. Anyone? I also want to know I've been mining here for over a week and sadly, nowhere on the website does it tell you how you're doing. The payouts seem to fluctuate greatly, too. It's the one negative I have with the site, besides also having no graphs and also having to click 3 or 4 different places to get information on what's what. I do like the pool though. At the moment, however, it's holding onto over 0.035 BTC, when the payout should have been yesterday. Not sure what's going on... |

Noticed some slight bugs lately:
GPU coin isn't auto-exchanging? I collected over 32,000 of them and they just sit there. I ended up withdrawing them and trading them manually. Now I have them autowithdrawing, but I'd prefer they get auto-exchanged as well.
LTC is set up for me to keep them, but when they're mined they're getting auto-exchanged.

I switched all of my miners over to SCRYPT-N today and I don't see any VTC coming in. Am I doing something wrong? They're all hasing away...
The miners all dropped about 55% kh/s which I knew to expect. I just don't quite understand if I should be seeing VTC or not...
Also, even though I switched to Scrypt-N on port 2220, why is it still populating regular Scrypt coins? Is there a delay I never knew about?

Because the server is reporting wrong khash and the payments have gone down, we (everyone seeing this issue) are actually losing 25% of what we're doing somewhere.... HUGE deal...

Considering the minimum hashrate over the period you are viewing was 0MH/s, you average number is not going to be correct either. Server isn't reporting the wrong KH/s anywhere I have seen. That was due to the server outage for that hour. I could show you the last 6 hours and it's the same... down a large percentage. Good point though. It's still down and reporting incorrect the other 23 hours I have listed though. Do I REALLY have to wait another 24 hours to point out the fact that something is wrong with a new graph? haha.... I sure hope not. |

Have we determined why Wafflepool isn't showing correct khash yet? Not only that, with the lower reported khash than before the server was changed, the payouts are not equal anymore. My BTC / Day / 1mH is LITERALLY going off of the falsely reported khash numbers. I'm losing out on 21% of my khash. That's HUGE. Something broke when you switched to the new server. Might want to take a look... I've had reports on my reddit post about this. Everyone is seeing it. Money = the reason we're here with you  You've been amazing thus far. One or two days of tweaking and fixing a config is fine. If this continues, you may have people thinking you're stealing 20% of their money. Money makes people believe crazy things... Maybe I'm confused as to what you're showing in that graph... Nothing looks like the hashrate dropped by 20% anywhere in that graph... I posted the graph of the drop back on page 146 (This one, below), after I started noticing the issue. Immediately after the server reboot it happened. I went from 6 MH/s to ~5 MH/s. My rejects have gone to almost 0%, which was great, until I noticed the loss of 18% of my total hashrate. I'm going to have to switch pools if this keeps up, which is too bad because Wafflepool has been the best I've used and really don't want to switch. followed by my question "NVidia or AMD?" and he replied, [–]codkill 1 point 4 hours ago I'm actually running an even mix of all; AMD, NVidia, and CPUs. I have tried all of the other pools and always came back to Wafflepool, so I don't know what will happen if this keeps up. I'm having the same problem. My rig is running at a ~ 3.2 MH/s, but I'm being reported for only about 2.4. That's a 1/3rd of my production. I may have to move pools  . |

I was reading about the new Stratum server and I think it's causing issues with my cudaminer (750 Ti) rig. I'm running steady at 1.8 Mh/s, but since yesterday it is reporting less. (From 1.8 -> ~ 1.45) On the below graph, you can see it drop down and stay well below where it usually is. The first dip, i'm assuming, is when the server switched over? After that, I did two reboots when I noticed the drop in khash, which you can see on the graph as well. (Windows Updates slowed down my shutdown/restart, allowing it to show up on the graph) Can someone please tell me why I'm seeing the drop in khash all of a sudden, even when my rig is running at 1.8 MH/s still? Something I need to re-configure in the cudaminer.bat to work better on intensity? The biggest issue is that my BTC / Day / 1mH DROPPED as well! So, not only is it reporting lower, it IS lower. I just posted this up on /r/wafflepool and immediately, someone else said "I have the same issue!" Help? |
