61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] POW ENDING at 50k | DACs | MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 6/23/2014 on: June 25, 2014, 09:42:07 AM
The problem witrh syncing is due to the nodes you are connecting to. This is because others have not updated and continue to use the old wallet which still tries to accept PoW block past the 50k mark.

Please try using the node i have told you since it is on the right version and is not having any sync issues.

As for the wallet crash, i need more details such as error messages, or can you post the last part of your debug.log?

Also, let it run a while, give it time to resolve, as you know there ave been thousands of nodes, so it has to work through them and find the active ones then sort through them to find the correct block number, mine took ~ ten minutes from scratch to sync.

I'm using the node list mario posted now. And already let it run 8 hours, still stuck.

UPDATE: It moves one block after pop-up of minted, with stake. But its utterly slow.

Can confirm the wallet is stuck on Windows 7. This is not an isolated Windows 8/8.1 issue.

The full blockchain needs uploading, or we are all going to be stuck syncing!

but it crashed only if no chain is available
and after they close and open again, you do not get it sync

Did all from above in this topic.., add nodelist in config, old wallet / current wallet, remove blockchain db (it crashes NRS at start), win7 - win 8/8.1. Stuck at block: blocks" : 47598.

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] POW ENDING at 50k | DACs | MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 6/23/2014 on: June 25, 2014, 08:48:56 AM
but the trouble at the start of the new wallet without chain stays

Mario.. eventually.. I was able to sync, but took some time.. but it got some "trusted" nodes...

I am trying the noirds.com as suggested by barwizi.. and its the same file.. working.. as I stated too... and after 1 minute.. it syncs..

I have all the nodes deleted from my config and the peers.dat. and yes i got the new version then nevertheless a sync

Same problem here:
Using new version,
Deleted peers.dat,
Got 8 connections,
Stuck at blocks" : 47583,
Debug.log ->
Create Block, 47586
ERROR: mempool transaction missing input,
Endless Sync.

please try from scratch with only your wallet.dat

it's taking a while to find nodes on the correct version

you can use the block explorer as a node and i think all the exchanges. ypool as well has updated.

My main computer with wallet, -> http://gyazo.com/7b1b1975374ba73c1c6eb06b7104f284 keeps syncing but nothing happens.
Used the block explorer node, everything was fine yesterday.

Installing latest noirshares client on clean windows 8.1, it crashes at start.

Or upload the latest full blockchain? And post addnode list.

Later today we will setup some highspeed seednodes. I have never used any win8 variant but i will look into it.

Its windows 7 and windows 8.

I'm stuck in SYNC mode.. can you upload the full blockchain?

More people reporting SYNC bug.

I'll add solo tutorial in OP.

why http://mnt.extremepool.org/ didn't pay my coin, why it is pending too long, i haven't had any payout since 4 hours ago. BTW deathchuck and deathchuck2 is not the same person, me and deathchuck  ( who wanna out and back to X13 ) have no relative.

Payout not working for me to. From yesterday.

I believe its because of the new pool software update "minimum payment treshold set in the pool software", give the pool admin some time.

Cheers.

Send you PM back, thank you :-)
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MNT] MountCoin on: June 22, 2014, 10:35:10 AM
Ok I got some updates coming up soon,

First of all the exchanges are not number one priority, I rather have the coin stable + good network hash rate and let it grow, and get the coin official on the CN website/forum.
MNT had a big reputation fall because of the previous developers, and we first need some damage control, and get back the support from the community.

If you want to trade use the trading topic here for now -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633382.0 and If we get listed on exchanges I rather get it listed on poloniex/bitttrex.

On the moment I'm working on the public block explorer website. If you cant wait for the blockexplorer, check the blocks yourself in the MNT daemon
print_bc begin_height end_height (print_bc 1 2) and set_log 2

The windows 32 bit version is coming up + static build linux version for the daemon + wallet + simpleminer.

And Ill update the OP list with CPU miners you can use.

Network HASH rate is increasing and more people mining, so good thing.

Another note for the pool admins: please set (stats.network.difficulty 25) so the network hash rate looks ok, (its just an stats thing and no impact on the pool itself)

Cheers

32 bit window wallet?

On the TO-DO :-) Lets get the network hash rate first healty and I'm working on the blockexplorer.

Cheers
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MNT] MountCoin on: June 19, 2014, 10:29:33 PM
Is this coin the same as Horizon, or is it the original MountCoin? I'm confused. I bought some of the original MountCoin, so I'm hoping they're still worth something

Original [MNT] Mountcoin + fixes. I'm not affiliated in anyway with the previous dev(s) of [MNT] mountcoin or Horizon. I'm trying to fix the mess they made.

First thing on the agenda is getting the previous healthy network hash rate back (DIFF increased x2 today) and getting the public block explorer website online.

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MNT] MountCoin on: June 19, 2014, 06:31:19 PM
http://mnt.extremepool.org added to the pool list.

Cheers!
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MNT] MountCoin on: June 19, 2014, 03:04:19 PM
still alive??

Yes, I think its fair for all the people who mined it at start, another pool will go up today.
And Ill push fixes if needed for this coin and one official GIT + download location.

Information updated, only wondering if we going to use cbuchner1 logo, I like it in some weird way ;-)
And forget all the crap, and we can move-on. Some other note -> I just want to state i'm not affiliated in anyway with the previous dev(s) of [MNT] mountcoin.
The previous developer left without notice. You know the crap :-)

I've been mining at http://qcn.cryptity.com/ since yesterday and paid less then 1/10 what I expect based on hashrate and blocks discovered.

Same here - Still they got msg in the header "On June 17th some payments failed! Working on a solution. Thanks for your patience."

Mandatory update

Folks, download updating binaries! You should replace daemon&wallet files in the folder. Don't delete the '.bin' & 'bin.keys' files!

Temporary solved the issue with transaction.

Now the transactions are accumulated in tx pool and assigned to blocks under new criteria, for example commission and median size. If your transaction doesn't fit the conditions (e.g. exceeds block median) it waits for another block and that's why the time for the transaction can increase to infinity.

If your transaction isn't transferred within 24h it's returned to your wallet.

Win 32http://sourceforge.net/projects/quazarcoin/files/quazarcoin-win32.zip/download
Win 64http://sourceforge.net/projects/quazarcoin/files/quazarcoin-win64.zip/download
Mac OS Xhttp://sourceforge.net/projects/quazarcoin/files/quazarcoin-mac.zip/download
Linuxhttp://sourceforge.net/projects/quazarcoin/files/quazarcoin-linux.tar.gz/download

Fix works, thank you! :-)

Try to send at poloniex and bittrex....

Yes same problem, Im not getting pool payouts (http://qcn.cryptity.com) in my wallet. Only the small payouts, feels like the big payouts getting stuck.

+ lost 50 QCN at sending to poloniex. It never arrived. All the problems started yesterday.

I checked my wallet backup file, it still got the 50QCN but If I send it, i'm getting block is already in blockchain in my log file. Dont know what wallet to trust.
I hope this is true "If your transaction isn't transferred within 24h it's returned to your wallet."
