I don't know why you are still stick with HEAT, no large exchange lists it, at least you need bittrex, OK? They raised more than 1000 btc but lol.
no risk, no fun. you have to feel comfortable with your investment, some people need a coin which has a marketing machinery running in the background. this project is focusing on microtransactions for blockchains, because thats a real world use case and its also marketing its development. it make sense. for a listing on bittrex you need market makers trading your coin, this project is focusing on its own exchange. PoS coins dont work very well on exchanges, because you cant mine/mint/forge it. so if you are small, you have to go your own way, like heat do. I am sure once heat is more mature, it will be traded on big exchanges too. It will be listed on bittrex and other exchanges. Now we wait for wallet integration on alcurex, very nice exchange with coins tradeable from poloniex and bittrex. there are still some things to do like PoP reward, 1000tps, so there is potential, thats why people buying in. |

"[SERVER] pid >> undefined" Anybody got this error fixed? I tried everything (jdk, firewall) but it still says the same as above. I've seen this when systems have installed a 32-bit java instead of 64-bit. Thanks for the help! To bad installing java 64-bit has not helped  . Anybody have another idea? 2 possibilities you have no rights on your computer to read the pid number. pid, is the is just the number of the heatwallet run by your os. solution : run as admin, change your profile you are not starting the heat wallet server. solution: look at the folder structure from one at github. look at yours by opening the folder the heatwallet and make sure it is inside. more detailed tutorials need screenshot and stuff. but its not rocketscience either to start the apps. 1 hour up to 1 day, than its running. if thats working, you have to select your HOME_JAVA address for the right java version you installed. |

I have quite a lot of HEAT which I have not touched since the ICO and while I am happy that the price recently went significantly up I find it a bit scary that it is impossible to sell this HEAT without making the price collapse. Also some of my HEAT is in the wallet and I have access to it after typing the passphrase but the other part is on C-CEX and I can not transfer it out. Probably lot of people are in such situation, they can not sell part of their HEAT because it is stuck. When this will be fixed? I understand you do not want for everyone to dump at once, but even if this happens after C-CEX launches HEAT the price will recover, so why not let people sell?

The devs promised they will be selling the coins they got from C-CCEX once again.
You must have been mistaken, we've not made such an implication at all. What's done with the HEAT tokens received back from CCEX will be decided later after CCEX actually decides how many tokens they'll send us and when they'll do that. Original amount to be received was something like 300k HEAT. Those tokens will be used to support company development in the way that best supports the HEAT token price and / or company share value. Possible options include giving them out with company shares to be sold, selling tokens as such, burning them etc. This will be decided by us the company when relevant. Burning them or sending them to users proportionally to the current balance would benefit the value of the project. I think it would be best to give all those 300k to StewieG, he has been a great ass(et) to this project. Iam rly inspired by his passion, especially towards the things he hates so much. If i could bring up the same passion towards my bachelor thesis, i would be finished in no time. the only problem would be everytime you wrote something on your bacholor thesis would get deleted. thats how you see a wrong motivation brings no results at all. |

I'm so glad I got out immediately @7000 satoshi when the A2A exchange was working for the first couple days or so. Over half of my Heat I happily sold even before to somebody in the thread @7300 satoshi. Best decision ever. In BTC terms I lost 16% which is quite good for a project like Heat. These guys, especially Svante, are not to be trusted, let alone to be trusted with money. But yeah, go on and invest in the IPO.  Surely things will change yada yada yada He even deletes the post in which he admits to intentionally embezzles customers money... Sure give him more in the IPO!
