All it left after halving day is a belief that Bitcoin is getting more precious. Less supply now.

You are not alone, I did btc-arb, pbmining, HashProfit, all went under. I was angry, seeking revenge, and desperate. Now two years past, I can get over it. I am sure you can get over it, you are young and you have bright future ahead of you. Don't let those criminals bring you down.

You don't know him in person. I don't know anybody owns more than 1000 coins.

The price rise from the halving happened over the last few weeks. Things are going to be steady, but will probably increase slowly over the next couple months.
I expected price to rise, it didnot happen. I also expect price to be volatile, it did not happen either. I do hope you are right, price will slowly increase next few months.

It is 4 hours after , the price has not moved yet, yet. Actually slightly down down, how disappointing .

I am very disapointed because I expected 800 per coin after halving. When British voted exit, I thought this will bring instability for the world and move price higher. Did not happen either.

For a community full of bitcoin enthusiasts not very many people in here actually holds any significant amount of bitcoin, im not an exception to this rule either. I think ive only seen one person so fay that has an amount that could be classed as significant. the most bitcoin ive ever had is what i still have which is still not enough. Does everyone just cash out once they get near 1 bitcoin or what?
Where are the folks with a lot of coins? Do they still hang out here? Maybe they laughed their way to bank and went out enjoy their lives now? I think quite likely they got a wife and live a miserable life now.

One thing for sure is there are less Bitcoin for sale. If price not changed, miner have to sell the coins they mined last year, the year before. Eventually, less miner will be in business.

I have around 3.3 coins, i am working my way to 4 by posting useless stuff in this forum. Although Bitcoin halving not yet happening, my income from signature campaign already halved.

If it is a small amount, then I will ignore it , as if it did not happen. That is my way of keeping it. If big amount, like over 100 coins, yeah I will return it. For that amount, it is enough for someone to do things crazy, like putting a price on me.?

It's getting up. Crash was because of halving bug on websites + DDOS. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I always wonder why anybody will DDOS on Bitcoin? A successful Bitcoin will lead every other crypto-coin higher. United we stand.

Another scam asking user to sent 3btc because their system is hacked, 3 btc is used for manual refund process. And there were Bitcoin collected in the speedy processing Bitcoin address.

The halvening is near, and things have changed a bit the last days. When first it seemed people had already dumped following the 780 peak, the 560-80 range held and it seems to be all bullish again.
So my predictions are: The halving day is a "party day", so it must be bullish. The price will reach ~700 around the halving block (680-720). Then it will go up further a bit, and hit the 780 mark. If it breaks this mark (that's totally possible), then it will go even higher, into the high 800s.
For the next two months I predict relative high volatility in the range between 560 and 880, maybe even 950. Then things will calm down at around the same price we are now (600-680), with the sideways market ending in November/December with another uptrend.
I agree with you I think you bring up a very valid point, price will be quite volatile.

If you are one of the folks loading up before halving, dreaming about some quick bucks. Then there is a valid reason you should be nervous now.

Coinbase? Don't know if they are making money, but at least they are expanding. A lot of folks don't like them, but I have to utilize them to buy some coins if I needed to.

Maybe price will drop a bit after halving, classical sell on news.

Are you talking about Isis? As long as they are stay away from Bitcoin I will be happy.

Yes, Bitcoin is a new asset class, like gold, much better than gold. It is ubcorelated to stick stock, it has predefined upper limit. It can be used. It even can hide from tax. Perfect for small investors.

I think Bitcoin is very concentrated, being a currency and being an asset uncorrelated to genera stock market. All alt-coins are trying to do too much, they want to change the world, probably end up an nitch coin at best, which means in terms of market cap, can not compete with Bitcoin at all.

Bitcoin made me spend too much time in front of my computer. I should wow this more time with real people, family and friends. This forum is addictive, I look through messages here in my phone. But I am sure all these are not a robkem once Bitcoin trades at 3000. At that time, I will say who cares , Bitcoin is my family.
