Oh bummer sorry about your loss  Sad

Does your message mean that I should put in my payment (wallet) address?

I had the same problem, now I'm over at https://cpu-pool.net/btq/ and able to submit a lot more  Smiley

I can barely even get a thread accepted over at btq.ext-pool.net....
careful though you might get banned without any payment... I think that pool was doing this on qubitcoin when the first gpu miner were out (lost around 1000qubit... )
by the way, do you have qubit in the queue with ccminer (not worth a lot though, but could very well resurface, also used for myriad)

bigjme, just sent a 40k JPC donation your way for all the compiling work that you do Cheesy

Confirming that my 750ti is getting about a 1MH/s increase (to 4.1MHs) also on Jackpot coin solo mining & pool mining, for both x86 and x64 version.

Great job C&C hashfactory! Smiley

fired te compile up with my 780 while others are busy and shares being accepted. my 780 is mining at over 7MH/s

seems to be exactly a 1MH/s increase

bigjme, could you provide an JPC wallet address? I'd like to donate some JPC to you also for all the compiling work that you've been doing Smiley

just building my server version first aha

with the extra code it takes almost 6 minutes per compile xD
so will have to be patient with me

i am tempted to build another machine just for compiling at this rate. or is that me finding an excuse to build another system? hmmmm

UPDATE:

i can report 4.1MH/s on my 750Ti, with -s 1 for solomining

Thanks, bigme, appreciate it  Cheesy

Lmao. I will get it compiled and tested

Chris B,

Just sent along the 2nd half of my 100k JPC donation to that address (50k).

Thanks Christian B & Christian H for all your hard work! We all really do appreciate it Smiley

I had some newbie mining questions related to specifically to Jackpot coin.

1. When solo mining does a better hashrate card increase your chance of solving a block? eg. is a card that hashes at 6Mhs twice as likely to solve a block over a 3Mhs card?

2. Given that the current difficulty rate on Jackpot coin is between 65 and 111 right now.

If a GPU or CPU can't reach the current difficulty level (as displayed on cloudminers) is it best to leave it at a pool since it be impossible to solve the block solo mining because it can't even reach the current difficulty level? (Ignoring electricity costs)

In what way does an older GPU or CPU that doesn't reach the difficulty level actually contribute to the pool in helping it find a block?

Some background info. My earnings have been slowed down over the weekend while at the pools, so last night I decided to switch my two better computers back to solo mining: a 750ti GPU computer & Core2 Quad (CPU mining only). So far I've only found one unaccepted 90k block on the Core2 Quad this morning. Last week I solo mined a small handful of blocks on the 750ti.

Here are my Jackpot coin mining stats while at the cloudminers or miningpoolhub.

I have a 750ti, an older desktop CPU mining , and 2 laptops that can CPU mine.

750ti, 5,140 hashrate, difficulty fluctuates between 512 & 2048, on the windows console 3.1MHs
Core2 Quad 6600 Desktop CPU mining at 433 hashrate, diff between 72 and 128, on win console 368khs
Older core i7 laptop CPU mining at 308 hashrate, diff between 64 & 128, win console 325khs
Older core i5 laptop CPU mining at 120 hashrate, diff around 20, win console 177khs

Thanks!

we have an optimization for jackpot in the works that might almost double the hash rates.

Oh thx Spoenik, ya the file name is (cpuminer-otila-x86_64_linux-20140504.bin), no wonder I couldn't figure out what to do with it Smiley

Cool Spoenik, thanks for updating your version, I'll try it now Smiley

it's a Linux .exe i think eh.. (an elf file not coff) i'm guessing i never did download it.
so its not usable on anything but Linux and it can not be unpacked in any way.

I recently got my jackpot bonus payout also Smiley.  I only had a single 750ti hashing around 3.1Mhs over there. Wasn't able to get my CPUs to work over there yet. My bonus payout was around 90,900 JPC. (I'm not sure what my share was during that round though).

Thanks miningpoolhub operators! Smiley

edit: updated bonus payout

I just got the jackpot bonus payout for the first jackpot block 26550 from jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com. I was less than 1% of the pool hashes, so it wasn't significant, but the pool operator did pay out, and it was a little more than I had calculated based purely on my round shares. Thank you!

Heh, I'd like to try out otila new CPU miner, but the download is a .bin file. I tried uncompressing the file but it didn't work for me. I'm a non-computer programmer.

Can anyone provide any help?

Thanks! Smiley

new version of cpuminer, 30% faster than ig0tik3d's version
Code:
[2014-05-04 23:15:29] accepted: 44/44 (100.00%), 822.05 khash/s (yay!!!)
(Note that this is on old four-core SandyBridge)

Judging from donations received, 0.00000000 BTC and 0.00000000 JPC, I don't feel like releasing source code.

Heh, silly me.  Got it, thanks Smiley

Could someone post their working MNR .bat file, I'm not able to configure it properly - keep on getting boos.

there is nothing to configure

To download ig0tik3d's link I had to log out of my gmail/google account first.

So anyone cannot provide compiled ready to use in windows optimized version of cpu miner ?!?

You need ig0tik3d's modified cpu miner. Look some pages back.

can u please link me the page and post?

GPU is faster. With my Nvdia EVGA 750ti superclocked card I hash around 3Mhs. With ig0tik3d's enhanced CPU miner on my 2yr old core i7 laptop I hash around 340khs.

I am wondering for this coin, is it better to use CPU or GPU? I'd guess GPU would be better, am i right?

ig0tik3d's enhanced CPU miner does work on my old 32-bit windows 7 laptop and my 2yr old win 7 core i7 laptop.  Unfortunately, Spoetnik I couldn't get yours to work, so can't compare the speed, but for me ig0tik3d's is over 10x faster than the original Smiley

is there any 32bit miner for this coin or not?

op's first post.. look for file called "cpuminer_v2d.zip" it's windows 32bit
i hope to make a 32bit version of my cpu miner color mod but i have had trouble building it sorry people..wish me luck.
edit:
also check out the miner ig0tik3d uploaded on op's first post, i don't know if they are 32bit or 64bit or both or what..
