Well then...
It seems that Monocle will not be forked, or at least wont be forked as a testing environment for the upcoming Lyra2RE, which was the initial purpose of the coin. Thats pretty interesting.
Somebody might just say that MON was intentionally abandoned, so that another one can come on its place. Perhaps a coin with a FUCKIN huge premine, a shitty wallet and retarded development?

dude... just ignore everybody that mentions the word "inflation". This whole "inflation" debate is completely pointless. Somebody heard somewhere a few buzzwords and decided that he is now the Master of them economical models, so he should now come here and enlighten us all... Pointless, every time. I believe in VERT!

I will buy now and then i switch to mining. Does anyone know how to get VTC on BTC-e for example? They are trading with mostly dead coins and don't get it  . Where's the innovation on this exchanges? That probably wont happen. I dont even remember when was the last time they added a coin (~2 years ago) and as a whole, they are not the type of exchanges that wants to or is looking forward to adding new coins. Every single coin out there would love to get lined up on btc-e (because the volumes there are insane and thats one of the few exchanges that doesnt have "dirt" on it yet) and if the matter was as simple as "donating money", you would have seen quite a few more coins up on that exchange. |

For those of you that haven't heard yet, Feathercoin is changing its PoW in about 2 days. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=821738.40https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178286.1720At block 432000 FTC will do what we are hoping to do one day (end of November). In other words, we will be able to see for ourselves what happens when such a huge and widely distributed coin decides to change PoW. Will somebody try to take advantage of the algo change and perform a 51% attack? Will the price rise in the days that follow? Will FTC earn the respect of the community for doing what LTC refused to do? Well, we are about to find all of that out, aren't we? I'm so excited... I just... can't hide it |
