The weight is a multiple of the amount of coins and the time it has been staked.  If you multiply a number it gets bigger so the weight is going to be bigger than the supply unless the supply is 1 or 0.

This is not only possible but expected.  The weight is not just the number of coins but a function of the number of coins over time up to a maximum of 30 days.  So the weight number is always going to be higher than the supply as the supply is just one variable in calculating the weight.

I'm also on standby for a fire evacuation.  There is no "they" to stop the fire, it is going to burn until the rain comes. Of course we have firefighters but even if 100% of the population was out fighting fires it still wouldn't be feasible to put it out as there are several hundred thousand acres on fire.  The best they can do is try and manage it.  It is just a matter of where it spreads and how quickly.  The air is all smokey and the sun and the moon are as red as blood.  I got 99 problems but DeepOnion ain't one of them.  Looks like DeepOnion is up 6% in the last 24 hours, hope you all bought on the last dip like I did.

This wouldn't work for people with long usernames as the signature is close to maximum allowed signature for the rank.  If someone had a long username it would put them over the limit, where the user ID # doesn't get too long.

I know, it's like they are not even trying!  They could have forked deeponions code at the very least but they didn't even do that.  Just throw another scamcoin on top of the ETH platform, why not?  I think we are going to see a lot of new coins/tokens following deeponions distribution model.  Unfortunately most of them will be scams, like most alts, hopefully the average person is smart enough to distinguish deeponion from the scams and it doesn't taint our good name.


I won't get in or buy either, but will be laughing from the sidelines on this one.  I wonder how they are going to find an exchange shady enough to list this.  They might even have to start their own exchange.

It's only trading around a dollar right now due to the bloodbath in the crypto market today, so I'd say no.  Buy and hold.  This coin was over $4 a few days ago.    When it gets onto other exchanges it will be less volatile.  I bought some yesterday, I bought some today and if it goes down a bunch tommorrow, I'll buy again tomorrow.

Hmm, 100% annual interest, seems legit. /sarcasm   On top of that it's built on top of ETH which is either itself a scamcoin or just a tool that all the other scamcoins operate on.  I hope this attracts all the scammers that are trying to infest this community.  Good riddance.

My suspicion is that a bunch of the people banned from the airdrop threw a tantrum over it and foolishly dumped their coins.  But these people who dumped just because they are banned from the airdrop would have probably dumped at the end of the airdrop anyway. So no big deal.

I was blacklisted last week as well for "Unknown Reasons" but I suspect it had something to do with my rank upgrade and thus my signature change.   I'm still waiting for someone to look at my case and there were a bunch of other people in line before me.   Be patient and hang in there.  The devs and mods are humans and need their sleep sometimes too.

I got dropped out of the airdrop either because the bot hit me because my signature changed due to rank upgrade, or I did too much burst posting (my internet was out for 1 and 1/2 weeks so I was phone posting, but I'm back online and even staking now).  Either way I have faith in this community.  The coin is only worth as much as the community behind it and there are tons of people involved now.  I bought in before I got my first airdrop, I bought today and when the price dips again, I'll buy again.  This coin has a future.  People who got mad because they aren't getting free coins and dump, do so at their own peril.

The price of DeepOnion has been the lowest I've seen it in the last couple of days, so I threw some altcoins into it, again.  If you guys are trying to buy on the dip, I think this is it. Buy and Hodl, to the moon!

It says in the OP that if you miss a 3 weeks in a row you are ineligible.  So I would think that you just miss one week you just missed the one week.  I missed last week but I'm still keeping the signature and making posts in good faith.   I'm sure that if you remove the signature and don't make the posts your chance of getting next weeks airdrop are zero.  Hang in there.

Which forum are you talking about here?  The bitcointalk forum or the deeponion forum?

Same thing happened to me when my member level went up and I changed the signature.   I did have the user ID in it, so I think it might have something to do with the formatting.  Your stars aren't quite spaced right and my suspicion is that the bot didn't recognize it.

The Dev has reinstated at least half of the people already,  I'm still waiting on mine.   Tons of people on there had just upgraded from JR to member and changed their sig so I think this is the common thread.  Again, I'm still banned myself so this is just my working theory.   If you want to get unbanned, make a request in that link I posted.

The airdrop is coming from the 90% of coins that is premined.   These coins that are being distributed are in 3 different addresses, so the top 3 still contains most of the coins as we are still in the early phases of the airdrop.  Situation normal, nothing to be concerned about.

I posted in the banned support thread and reading through it, it looks as if the dev is reapproving about half the accounts, so I suspect this is a bot flagging.  I agree that the big ban list does not look good for us, but there are likely tons of scammers trying to angle shoot on top of a some type of issue with the bot.  I guess I'll wait and find out.

Unlike most new people in this forum it sounds like you are a reasonable and prudent person who has an idea of what he is getting into and aren't like "Hey guys what is bitcoin, I live in my mom's basement eating chicken tendies and want to go 100% into crypto and get rich quick." So your plan isn't too bad.

I always buy bitcoin in person from people I find on localbitcoins or just use a bitcoin ATM.  Bitcoin is supposed to be peer to peer so I don't use quasi banking institutions. As for buying it all at once or over time, I'd just buy a chunk but that is just a personal preference and you can do it either way.

If you were going to try the currency section here, it  might be easier to send cash by mail or courier and use a trusted member to Escrow it than to find someone willing to accept PayPal.   Also, you can send cash to a seller on localbitcoins as well.   I would first exhaust opportunities to buy locally before I'd do either of these.

Is there not anyone on localbitcoins selling?  I always buy mine in person but there might not be anyone in your country doing that.
