Bitcoin has very little practical use for the average person. Since it is now impossible for an average person to "mine" any Bitcoins, the only people promoting it are the ones who have invested millions dollars of real money in the computers needed to "mine" it. What do you think about this?

Donate to an open source hardware project. My favourite would be the Neo900; the world needs a decent open source phone with a keyboard (wtf is it with touchscreens now that phones are used more for typing than talking?)

I do not think so!  Some people may think "This is just a nice jewelery". IMO, this won't affect the spread of Bitcoin.
PS Although I would have bought a bracelet, because neckless medalions are too feminine
