61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 28, 2023, 05:40:33 PM

Well , barcelona under xavi can't really close to the good old days prime barcelona under pep and probably will never be , to have more than 90% of the domestic league games in domination ... there is several occassions that they are undeperforming like what they did today against girona.

The good news is that real madrid the only title contender so far have worse form compared to barcelona so yeah nothing really exciting this season in la liga.

A lot of things has contributed to the current state of Barcelona, Real Madrid and the entire Spanish La Liga to become this boring, one thing is the Abscens of Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and good coaches like Gadiola, Jose Mourinho etc started leaving those clubs, So If you could remember, you will notice that the Spanish la Liga started becoming less exciting when the above mentioned personalities started leaving the league.
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can old people use bitcoin? on: January 28, 2023, 05:22:34 PM
Old people getting involved with Bitcoin isn't a bad idea, Too teaching them about how to use BTC isn't a problem either, but where I do think the difficulties could come in here, Is in their inability to graps the whole process involved with using BTC. So considering what it takes to safely store Bitcoin in a wallet like the Nano wallet, it could be a turn off for the old ones.
This should be thaught to the old people that will easily understand the whole process in using and storing Bitcoin safely.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 17, 2023, 11:20:13 PM
In the beginning, I was involved in gambling, my favorite slot game, blackjack, dice, sometimes I could spend hours playing slots with countless money I spent and I realized that the win was not on my side, the consecutive losses that I get, I think this kind of situation can harm my finances, so I think about how to deal with all the losses that I get in gambling.

Then I try to think about learning other types of games to overcome losses.
I tried to study sports betting in as much detail as possible, especially football betting with a good score policy, I managed to do it all to cover the losses I had experienced for a while, overall dealing with losses is not emotional basis, greed for me, but turning the corner in another type of game that I am really good at, I realized that I really couldn't handle losses if I didn't master the types of bets in gambling.

don't understand what we are playing and betting on, everything will be in vain, the losses will continue to haunt us.
[/quote]

The best way to deal with your loses is just to reduce your staking strength, if you stake more to regain your loses, you will end up losing the more. Try to gamble for fun and don’t get addicted to it.  I had an ugly experience in gambling. I was trying to regain a lost and ended up losing everything.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 09:19:42 PM
Arsenal are favoured by 1.95 and it is 3.75 for Manchester United in their matchup in six days.

I would like to remind you of their latest rendezvous in the Premier League firstly. Manchester United had a really solid game against them and managed to defeat them by even a satisfying 3-1 score. Arsenal were going on great back then also therefore this loss was shocking for them. Manchester United were even worse than their current look but Erik ten Hag still knew what to do in Old Trafford in such big matches. This is another big match but this time it is in Emirates. Arsenal have a solid history in home matches against them. Plus they got a very solid win against Tottenham last week. I believe in them to win here also.

Arsenal cannot boost of 100% sure of winning the game against Manchester United despite they are at home, the both teams are in good form and may likely tie points on that game. But if Arsenal win the match they will become more comfortable on the table’s top, then on the other hand, if Manchester United won, they will be encouraged more to contest for the league.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 15, 2023, 10:49:21 AM
If you come to the overall long term view of BTC, That's where it is heading to base on its limited supply of 21M ever gonna be in existence, I would say anytime you purchased BTC is a good time, as BTC is still in its early phase before global adoption.

But in this your case the best time to accumulate is during a crash or a Bear market like this , It definitely the best time you should start building more into your portfolio with good DCA.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have 1 bitcoin? on: January 15, 2023, 10:15:43 AM
Bitcoin rallied because CPI fell as expected, I don't know if accumulators like you are happy or sad to see bitcoin rise in price. But for me, my feelings are not very happy. Because if bitcoin goes up too fast, I won't be able to accumulate bitcoin cheaply, accumulating my bitcoin will be very difficult if bitcoin doesn't drop back. But since we've been in a bear market for so long, it's time to warm things up. I can still buy bitcoin at this price, which is still pretty cheap compared to ATH, but I prefer to buy at a lower price.

The positive CPI data report that came out is obviously the major thing that catapults the price way up to $21000 because the market has been choppy for a while and we haven't had such price movement since after the FTX collapse but only after CPI data.

I'm happy that we have BTC started to see some recovery from the long time down trend, but would have preferred to see BTC start with a gradual movement towards the upper side than this fast movement that happened yesterday, reason is what goes up fast also comes down fast.

@Trofo- Manchester United is the only club I have passion for,  I’ve been supporting them since i grew up to know what football is all about, when they win, we win together, when they lose, we loses together, when they tie, we tie together, i change my jersey with them with each passing season, I am UNITED forever.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 10:39:23 PM
Another great performance from Manchester United and finally they have managed to win over City. Rashford is performing continuously and he is improving so fast. Casemiro is outstanding and his contribution is a lot for this win. I thought also match may end with draw but a good comeback by Manchester United within short time.

I knew even before the match that the least result Manchester United would have gotten from the game will be a draw. The team is superb, they are really playing like a team, The attacking force is formidable, the midfielders are doing marvelously well, the Defense line is coordinated, indeed Erick Ten Hag is doing a great job to bring back the lost glory.
69  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crisis wars and bad situations why they Are good ? on: January 13, 2023, 11:12:23 PM
Simple reason:
Crisis making people better more humble.
If you look the older people they Are more humble ...reason why ? Becouse theybeen through crisis.

Crisis not good but they can make people more humble and down to earth towards other people Also making to respect each other more.

For example:USA older society have high values and respect to each other becouse many of them Are refegues from Europe from war.

If you’ve ever been in crises that’s life threatening, you will always glamour for peace, it will give you a traumatic experience that will make you to be humble in life and always seek for calmness and harmony in the face of crises. You will also know that life has value that needs to be protected by all means.
70  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe religion is a setback in African development? on: January 13, 2023, 11:02:12 PM
Religion doesn't really differ from this "magic" you speak about. Religion is just heavily organized superstition.

Religion is a mere illusion, some of the things people believes and hold very tight in various religions doesn’t exist. They keep practicing and believing in what that doesn’t exist and they call it “Faith”  Even in one religion, they still have differs beliefs like Christianity, one Bible, one God but different churches that don’t agree together.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 13, 2023, 10:46:53 PM
I think the problem is not entirely in Graham Potter of course he has the capacity to become a coach in the Chelsea team because he also has a track record
I think one of the reasons is that the players in the squad are not entirely what he wants I mean there are some target players who have not been brought in
I will prefer to see Potter staying at Chelsea until next season and let him get the target player.

Coach is not really the problem of Chelsea currently, the board needs to look into the quality of players they have at Chelsea now. The defense line is flopping, the mid field is missing the presence of Ngolo Kante, the attackers are not consistent, they need to explore the transfer market when the transfer window opens. Even the best of coaches can’t make out anything with this quality of players.
72  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe religion is a setback in African development? on: January 12, 2023, 12:49:14 PM
Yes, Religion has been one of the major setbacks in African development . More especially in west Africa. Religion has caused division among Africans, Blacks hating and discriminating fellow blacks because of Religion, Africans killing each other on the basis of religious crises, properties destroyed, Businesses destroyed, our land most times is no longer safe because of religious killings and crises thereby causing an unsafe environment for development and business.
Some of our religious heads inculcating hatred into their followers, Africans can’t vote competent leaders without considering someone who shares same religion and beliefs with them. Religion is a serious setback to African development.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 11, 2023, 02:21:44 PM
I'm not sure MU will or at least draw because when we look at the odds below, MU will have face the best squad, Haaland still on fire, while Grealish has blown away his ego. while MU, i heard a news the defender Dalot got injury that possible can't playing yet in the next 2 weeks. So this derby, the MU chance win is hard, I think draw is more promise than winning.

There is still a possibility that Manchester United can secure a winner against Manchester City, Considering their current performance. They are in a very good form that you can bet on them beating any team or secure draw in any Match, their defense lines are formidable, the midfielders and attackers are all creating chances for scoring, I think the worst result United can get in that derby game is Draw.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: January 10, 2023, 06:26:08 PM
If Chelsea lose at Fulham on Thursday it will be difficult for Potter to convince fans he is the right person for the job. If they then lose at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday the person laughing loudest has to be Tuchel who was dismissed from his job by the new owners in what appears to have been a massive error. Tuchel looked as though he had lost the dressing room but still could have turned things around. The new owners said Potter was a long term appointment and no matter what happened he would not be sacked this season.

The facts are this season Chelsea have been beaten in the Premier League and knocked out of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup by Manchester City and are (on current form) looking like they will finish the season in 8th or 9th position.

The problem with Chelsea now is not just Coach, Chelsea really need to work on their defense line, the pairing of Koulibaly and Thiago Silver is really a big problem considering Silver’s age. If care is not taken Tuchel might end up staying longer than Potter and i think the Absence of Ngolo Kante at the mid field is also a problem to the team. Therefore Chelsea board needs to look into their defense line and take some decisions.

75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular on: December 10, 2022, 10:03:46 PM
Basically, some Banks or would I say most banks are not well pleased with the existence of BTC.
Bitcoin has opened a lot of investors eyes, as how inflation and Banks slowly robbs off people their money that is deposited in the bank with charges , restrictions on account and pay customers small interest on loaning their money.

While this has made investors start moving their attention into BTC, Thus resulting in banks seeing Bitcoin as business enemy.

After officially parting ways with Man United, Ronaldo began to be linked with a number of clubs that were predicted to be destinations to continue his career. The offer from al Nassr is very tempting, if Ronaldo accepts the proposal from Al Nassr he cannot pursue his ambition to play in the UCL.
Chelsea can be the best choice for Ronaldo, he will have the opportunity to appear in the Champions League with Chelsea. Newcastle, who is in good form, also really wants to bring in Ronaldo, while Bayern Munich can be an option for Ronaldo to add to his trophy collection.
Ronaldo right now should be playing for fun at this his age and not basically for money. a lot has been a achieved by him both moneywise and otherwise.

If he decides to leave England for Al Nassr and not consider the Chelsea's link and a link to returning to Real Madrid, I see his name phase out and an end of career for him.

History has it that most of the players who was at this his situation in the past and took the decision of playing outside the major leagues, that started the end of their era.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 04, 2022, 11:55:24 AM
Can we just give the manager time, he won his last 5 games before the recent bad run and in those first games he won,
I'm totally in agreement with you on this, Would I just say that Chelsea are generally an impatient club when it comes to dealing with new coaches.

This is a problem that they need to correct and learn how to give their new managers time to study the players and to build a better team, because good results doesn't come just overnight, it takes some time and hard work for an improvement to come.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 27, 2022, 08:09:33 PM
AC Milan and Tottenham are 2 teams that cannot be underestimated, they have their own advantages and disadvantages. I also see this match will be very difficult to predict. I think they will beat each other in the 2 legs they will play and in the end they will decide on aggregate goals.
If I should pick a team to win in that game between AC Milan and Tottenham including both home and away matches, Tottenham Hotspur will be the team for me. Anthonio Conte got a lot of Champions League experience and too Tottenham has been consistently coming to the champions league for some years now, while Ac Milan hasn't been able to qualify for champions league for long now.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some government scared of Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2022, 07:00:54 PM
Making Bitcoin a legal tender means when a person goes to purchase a commodity, instead of paying with dollar or whatever currency is being used, they pay with BTC.
Given the unstable nature of cryptocurrencies, and the untraceable nature, would you suggest it wise for countries to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender?
Recently, El Salvador and Central African Republic announced that they have adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender.

The the decentralized system of Bitcoin is opposed to the centralized government system of operation, which is central control of money, basically the supply and demand side. Government cannot adopt what they can't control, hence they will find it difficult to immediately adopt Bitcoin until they have find a way of playing part in order to control the system, which the decentralized nature of BTC has made it difficult for the government control.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 23, 2022, 08:41:18 PM
seems like many big team will be out soon. I don't know how Messi is feeling after losing the game from Saudia Arabia.
What a joy Saudis give to their nation and what a shock Argentina gave to their fans. Now Saudia which was not in the early discussion  is the hot favourite team of the world cup too

That wining over Argentina by the Saudis is really a big shock to the Argentines entirely, even with the early penalty that was awarded to them, It couldn't help matters. I still believe that the Lionel Messi side will have the opportunity to qualify from the group stage.

So as a lesson, let them know that there's no small team in this this year's world cup compition , unlike before where we usually have big teams dealt with the small teams.
