61  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: July 31, 2015, 11:22:31 PM
Have fun being caught at a rally while you sleep because you tried to find that perfect price that never arrived.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxing is legalized robbery on: July 31, 2015, 11:20:43 PM
I am not against taxes. There are common services like the hospitals, fire services, administrations etc which a working community needs and which should be paid by the government.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: July 31, 2015, 11:07:24 PM
I use btc for online shopping, digital goods like steam games and a bit of gambling. Invested in a few different alts over the last few months in case bitcoin goes pete tong, the rest I keep hidden away for a rainy day.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2015, 11:01:55 PM
the current trend going on is of trading and investing. I prefer trading than investing it. trading on exchanges is like acting like a broker who gets profit in every environment.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: July 31, 2015, 12:04:38 AM
The difficulty is to evaluate the moments when it is reaching up and down pikes I tried buying and selling on a short term basis when it went up and down. And after that failed miserably. I stopped strategies.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: July 30, 2015, 11:40:06 PM
I've bought loads of shit with BTC. Before the 'crash' everyone thought I was stupid for spending it but I was buying stuff when the price was over 200 and getting excellent value.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: July 30, 2015, 11:35:42 PM
Fortunately Bitcoin works just fine without Satoshi. if his identity is never discovered. The idea of an invention as great as Bitcoin having been unleashed by an anonymous benefactor is quite cool.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 30, 2015, 11:26:15 PM
The idea of "only investing in Bitcoin what you can afford to lose" is backwards. I'm investing in Bitcoin all the money that I want to SAVE. Unlike my fiat bank accounts, my Bitcoin wallets can not be seized by the state nor frozen by a corporation.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxing is legalized robbery on: July 30, 2015, 11:20:16 PM
Politicians using taxes to take wealth from poor to rich, only bitcoin can change that. What do you think?
you're probably not going to convince a lot of people that taxing is robbery. that's an incredibly extreme point of view that is completely at odds with living in a developed industrial nation.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT a currency debate! on: July 30, 2015, 11:00:17 PM
Just as the value of the dollar is built on trusting the people who accept it. There's no core difference between a service for bitcoin and one for another currency.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: July 30, 2015, 10:38:59 PM
Hasn't bitcoin already gone mainstream?

No.... Nobody (like one the street people) knows what the fuck bitcoin is... yet.

Agreed. Mainstream is television. Mainstream is google. Bitcoin is not mainstream.
The endgame of bitcoin is to go mainstream, maybe even global, some people would like to see it as the primary form of exchange worldwide.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: July 29, 2015, 08:25:05 PM
Locking funds till you reach the retirement age. That's risky and safe at the same time. Why would anyone want to to lock the funds , if he/ she cannot use it in the times of need. But yeah in a way , a future planning is happening.

But that's exactly what pretty much what everyone does as a retirement account or with their pension for example. People save because they need to as when they retire they wont have any money otherwise. Sure, keeping your money in bitcoin is risky but so is keeping it in a pension or in your bank in some cases. I think putting some money into bitcoin could pay dividends by the time you retire but nothing is guarnteed.

Nothing is guaranteed that is for sure But having bitcoin as a retirement account is an good idea as you can withdraw your bitcoins whenever you need. I think it is better then the pension plans or fixed deposits where you have locking period and you cannot withdraw unless it gets matured and if you withdraw when it is pre-mature then banks charges heavily on it.

Having bitcoin as a retirement is good if you hold much of bitcoin, with a low bitcoin I dont think this is a good idea. There is too many things that need to be implemented in bitcoin and all of this need mass adoption. Although you got bitcoin but there are no adoption, this will just stay the same and bitcoin will go nowhere

ya that's true. If you have it as an retirement account that totally depends on the number of bitcoins you hold. If you have good number of bitcoins then your retirement period would be wealthy and rich and you don't have to depend on any other investment products.
bitcoin as a Retirement Account  Would definitely  Certain risk is involved as we don't know what's the future of Bitcoin but still I am sure that bitcoin will going up.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply on: July 29, 2015, 08:14:37 PM
Deflation is worse than inflation. Look at Japan. Deflation decreases money velocity, people tend to hoard instead of spending and spending is crucial to the growth of GDP.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Ever Take Out a Loan in Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2015, 08:01:55 PM
I dislike taking loans in general. I think I would not take a loan in Bitcoin. But in my case it's not an entirely Bitcoin specific loan aversion
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So we can get paid BTC for searching on Bing? on: July 29, 2015, 07:50:42 PM
it looks like they are bribing people to use their search engine. i don't know how it is going to be effective since majority of people are using google for searching.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Classic Bitcoin Polls - What is your all time favorite Bitcoin wallet? on: July 29, 2015, 07:45:50 PM
Blockchain.info I have never had a problem with so I continue to use it for my daily expenses, I also have more in an electrum wallet and to be honest i have not tried any other wallet mainly because I have not needed to
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: July 29, 2015, 07:41:09 PM
I would stay iam ready for being a part of the future of cryptocurency, When BTC become mainstream, we will finally be rewarded for our patience and faith.
78  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: July 29, 2015, 07:34:10 PM
That depends upon the prices of bitcoin in future whether to sell it or go with it. Definitely sell it depending upon the profits I am earning out of it will not sell if the profit margin in less but if it is more then the expectations then would definitely think of selling it.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 28, 2015, 08:45:33 PM
It's far from dead, as long as the devs can come up with a reasonable solution to not end up ruining it, which I think has very low possibilities of happening. We are still 0.11 version so we have a long way to go. Hopefully the blocksize limit problem is solved before we hit 0.2..
yes, there are some very encouraging and positive new developments happening in bitcoin all the time. Widely used by common folk or not, bitcoin is useful and remains full of potential.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers and non-holders beware: This could be you in the future. on: July 28, 2015, 08:42:10 PM
whales are accumulating Btc daily, while the weak hands get shaken since they lose trust. It's a psychological war what they play, and they are doing a good job.
