61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 25, 2021, 09:59:44 AM
Sure they will, because one cryptocurrency will not be good enough for various usecases. I can't speak for all of them, but what I think is that Ethereum, Cardano, Theta, Avax, Monero will survive and moreover evolve!

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: October 25, 2021, 09:36:02 AM
Сrypto creators burn the coins in an attempt to increase the value of the coins that remain in circulation. It is not very dissimilar to what happens in the realm of Oil. If the price of a barrel of crude oil drops because there is a glut in the supply and the demand is not commensurately high, then the oil-producing nations reduce the supply so the prices go back up again. The same dynamic of supply and demand is at play behind the process of coin burning. Cool
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most performing altcoin for October on: October 25, 2021, 09:09:57 AM
New cryptos carry the potential for high rewards, but they also carry more risk, so it's good to keep more established projects in your sights, too, the ones that I would watch: Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA) and Ripple’s XRP, I can even bet they'll fly up  Wink
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: October 22, 2021, 09:42:28 AM
Altcoins are a great option for crypto long-term investments. If you don't agree, then you probably don't know the rule "never put your money in something without knowing where it is going".Legit altcoins projects often have a roadmap to show investors that they’re in it for the long run. Most have long-term goals that will eventually take their crypto and vision to the moon. In turn, investors should also know that they should also be willing to strap in for the long term.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum price at the end of the October. on: October 22, 2021, 09:34:22 AM
In October 2021 Ethereum may heavily boost its price. I assume as high predictable a mass adoption of this cryptocurrency next months, a Ethereum rise with a strong capitalization and consequently a concrete value per coin increase Cool
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the best coin Bitcoin on: October 22, 2021, 09:05:45 AM
Basically, you're right, cause Bitcoin is among the most highly traded cryptocurrencies, assuring liquidity to investors and typically, altcoins are higher risk investments when compared to Bitcoin, but they often provide higher returns in a bull market.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrency be a Global Currency in the Future? on: October 22, 2021, 08:49:54 AM
Bitcoin will eventually be the world's currency, because "you have to think it's going to infinity," and there are not my words, so said the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, you've got to believe that  Wink
National currencies are already showing extreme signs of weakness so people should soon start measuring the price of things in bitcoin.
69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can bitcoin exist without fiat on: October 21, 2021, 11:04:34 AM
Since i joined bitcointalk forum i find it difficult to make a post relating to bitcoin, bitcoin is like physical money (fiat), and i want to know the difference between fiat and bitcoin, and without fiat existence can bitcoin have a name?, after thinking all this  with seriousness i concluded that bitcoin and fiat works like brothers and sisters and no one can leave each other, so i want to know if any other digital currency can function without fiat?.
I think that BTC has even more than that and one day it will even replace fiat, by 2050 as crypto experts say. I'll quote "An astonishing 54% of the panel thinks hyperbitcoinization — the moment that Bitcoin overtakes global finance — will happen by 2050". Cool
70  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Future of crypto exchanges on: October 21, 2021, 10:58:45 AM
Now that binance exchange have compulsory KYC verification it seems that the door is open for people like we to move out and look for other options, the question is how long will it takes for other exchanges to join? For example coinEX and kucoin? How about Dex exchange? Any good one in mind? I used uniswap in the past but high gas fee made me quit.
You can use an exchange aggregator for these purposes, thus where you can compare the rates, see all exchanges with no kyc in one place, see their pos and cons, it's really convenient, the ones I know are good: Swapzone, of course, Allegat0r,  DEX.AG Wink
71  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best decentralized exchange? on: October 21, 2021, 10:18:20 AM
Hello,
According to the new US boycott that cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges must apply some limitation against their users from the specific countries, then which wallets and exchanges are OK and no need KYC?
How about the dYdX exchange?

Thank you.
I would advice to use an exchange aggregator, where you can compare the rates, see all exchanges with no kyc in one place, it's really convenient, the ones I know are good: Swapzone, of course, Allegat0r,  DEX.AG Wink
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: October 21, 2021, 08:27:39 AM
You know the government seems to be upset with anything there can't put under their control and would want to kick against it, but with time it's actually going to be a history because what must be must be, the ban some countries lay on bitcoin isn't stopping it's growth, it is a sign that bitcoin is gaining more traction across countries and soon it will be accepted globally, it's just a matters of time everything will turn out perfectly. Soon the government will get to see the importance of crypto to it's economy
I believe we win in the end, we’ve spread so much already that at this point i think it would be near impossible to stop it from growing. they might slow it for a while but i think a stop of growth is near impossible Undecided
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: October 21, 2021, 08:12:00 AM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.
This is my personal opinion: here are some altcoins to watch
Litecoin (LTC), Neo (NEO), Stellar (XLM), Ether (ETH), Dodgecoin (DOGE). I think these can deepen investors' digital wallets, they might offer a high risk, but also a high reward. Smiley
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptogames - who has heard of them? on: October 20, 2021, 11:10:09 AM

We had Bitcointalk memes, but these wouldn't fit there so here we go with new meme thread.

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba is worth the risk on: October 20, 2021, 10:50:27 AM
Many hesitated to buy Dogecoin all in the name of ( it's meme coin ) and today Dogecoin is 0.25$, something we believe to be impossible in 2017-2019, I was once a 1million + doge coin owner until I sold too early, yea I know Elon musk pumped the coin but think about what a million doge coin would have turned your lives into right now if you bought at 0.00+++, my advice is a million shiba inu won't cost you more than 20-40$ as we speak, that's kind of money everyone can afford to lose, if altcoin season is going to be like 2017ish period this shit coin can surge up to the impossible level

I don't need to warn you that this isn't a financial advice, 20-40$ won't take your life away anyways, I'm just saying it's possible that Elon musk will push Shiba inu too if the chance comes

Well, investing in Crypto itself is risky, but when it comes to these meme coins the risk gets doubled, as these meme coins as the name suggest, they are created for fun, they don’t have a strong foundation and for a specific purpose. Still, you can gamble with it… as you said 20-40 $ isn't that big of a price to lose Undecided
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all pro traders on: October 20, 2021, 10:32:34 AM
Hi experts in the house, is it true that present crypto market moves is like 2017 4th quarter? Is it true that there will be another massive bull run mostly on altcoins? I sucks at reading charts so I don't know how true is this

The last quarter of 2017 marked the all-time high of both Bitcoin’s price and the number of ICOs operating in the market and with the startup cryptocurrency investment company like Crypto access Investment Limited, where you get double of your invested cryptocurrency after 7 days. Although prices since then have cooled off, activity in the blockchain market refuses to slow down, turning 2018 into a fundamentally important year.

We’ve been witnessing a shift in sentiment, as well as developmental progress, that is setting the market up for another explosion in price activity. It’s hard to say what will contribute the most to the next bull run, seeing as there’s been so much going on the space recently though. Undecided
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: October 20, 2021, 10:25:21 AM
Neither of these projects have a valid use-case. They are meme-coins. Speculative gambling at best.
I’d be lying if I said I never owned any. But just a few dollars here or there. These aren’t serious projects for real investors. And they probably won’t be around in the next 10 years.

DOGE seems to have staying power. SHIB has a lot of development happening on the project. I wouldn’t count them out! Risking a few bucks won’t hurt if they happen to blast off. $1000 in DOGE 5–7 years ago, would make you a Millionaire today.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: October 19, 2021, 10:39:17 AM
I have been in lots of argument lately with close friends who keep dragging this subject matter. A friend of mine was of the opinion that an asset is any commodity that has a unit of symbol with monetary value attached to it while a currency has an exchange value that can be used in exchange for commodities. This very friend was of the opinion that bitcoin isn't a currency that its an asset because its value isn't stable and has volatility

Another said bitcoin is both an asset and a currency depending how the user chooses to treat it. He was of the opinion that while bitcoin can be used in exchange for goods and services it can also serve as a store of value where you convert your fiat to a digital asset waiting for it to appreciate.

For me I will go with my other friend who said bitcoin can serve both purposes which depends on two major factors:
  • Your country
  • You as an individual

Your country:
In my opinion you can't use bitcoin as a currency in a country where it is not legalized or a country where bitcoin is banned. Some countries has restricted ezchnagers from carrying out their business within the region so in such places you can't use your coin for commercial purpose you it will only serve as an asset

As an individual:
This is based on your choice if you are lucky enough to base in a country where bitcoin is legalized or a country where the government decides to remain mute of crypto related issues you can decide either to store yours as an asset or use it as a currency. But in countries with low civilization you will have the challenge of using it as a currency because it hasn't been accepted as a legal tender.

what is your take on this

It's hard to tell, cause Bitcoin is a digital asset designed to work as a currency. Bitcoins have three useful qualities: they are "hard to earn, limited in supply and easy to verify". Can that make it easier to agree that bitcoin can somehow be defined as money?
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Say Bitcoin is scam on: October 19, 2021, 10:29:34 AM
Let's just it is scam
How Long from Today we have left until Bitcoin will be done?
Let's say its scam we know today so how long we have time until it collpse?
Just humble speculation Let's play out the worse case scenario hope for the best prepare for the worse!
Bitcoin itself isn’t a scam, but every financial system has its share of scam attempts: fake exchange, fake investment projects, mining scams, phishing. For this reason, it’s important to do a reaserch before you buy from an exchange or invest in a BTC project.
