Recently we were able to spin up a new node for the Ubiq Network using a Raspberry Pi 3B+.  If you're interested in helping support the Ubiq Network by running your own node, be sure to check out this script put together by community member matt.

GeoCoin is an ongoing project with active development and we are now closer to launch then ever before.  We can't control the market price, the only thing we can control is our developments.  Sorry to hear you got caught up in that recent buy up, it appears that some large order accumulated all at once.

We've also been very active in the community taking part with CoinFest and a recent Q&A Demo of GeoCoin.  Today it's time to get outside, meet some new people and have some fun at the beach!  Cool

The latest Ubiq Research article was just released discussing The Ubiq Business Case.  Be sure to have a read through as it discusses many potential use cases and mentions $GEO as an example.

Thank you Weifa,I downloaded the fusion.,but I have no idea how to send the geo there....
Can you help?
Thank you.
Have you synced the full blockchain up-to-date?

Make sure to add a Watch for the GeoCoin Token Contract: 0x500684CE0D4f04aBeDff3e54fCF8acC5E6CFc4bD, it should auto-fill the rest of the parameters since it can reference them from the blockchain.

Then you can send a small test amount to your main wallet account, ex 10 GEO.  Make sure you can see the 10 GEO arrive before sending a larger amount.

We've made some more progress on the GeoCoin wallet backend!  The Balance contract has now been deployed to the mainnet allowing for more efficient token balance requests by reading directly from the node state.

Hi ,where can I store my geo?
I want get them aut of bittrex.
Thank you.
panda111 if you'd like to withdraw from Bittrex I recommend you either install the Fusion Desktop wallet (full sync of the blockchain is required), or use the lite web wallet called Pyrus available at https://pyrus.ubiqsmart.com/.

Fusion
Once you download the entire blockchain, make sure to add the $GEO token contract address to your Fusion wallet by selecting Watch Token: 0x500684CE0D4f04aBeDff3e54fCF8acC5E6CFc4bD.  then it will be able to track your $GEO balances accordingly.

Pyrus
I believe Pyrus web wallet already has the $GEO contract address setup by default, so you'd just have to create a wallet and secure your keys accordingly.

Note you will need a small amount of $UBQ in the wallet if you plan to move the funds at a later date, to help cover the transaction gas fee.

As always depending on which option you choose, be sure to send a small test amount of $GEO first to confirm that the transfer is successful and you're able to see the balance in the new wallet prior to sending any large amounts.  If you have any more questions just let me know, good luck!

Just processed the next batch of Proof-of-Location (PoL) $GEO magnets ahead of the Canada Day long weekend.  This resulted in an addition of 500+ more $GEO.  If you don't see any $GEO nearby and would like us to drop some, be sure to pan and zoom into your local area and click Drop GEO.  https://geocoin.cash/pol  Get outside and enjoy the weekend!

Hi . how can one pick the coins ? Is there any sort of wallet for mobile phone?(iphone) And one more think, how can I withdraw coins from bittrex? to ubq wallet??
Thank you.
In order to pick up the coins, you need to be added as a beta tester.  Feel free to send me a direct message with your user name and I can add your account as a beta tester.

I don't use any mobile wallet for storing GEO, you are likely better off to use UBQ Wallet.  If you'd like to withdraw your GEO from Bittrex, you will need to determine your wallet address in UBQ Wallet.  Then use that to withdraw your funds from Bittrex.  If it is your first time, I recommend you send a small test amount first to ensure that the balance transfers successfully before sending any larger amounts.  Be sure that you wallet has a small amount of UBQ in it to help pay the gas for transaction fees.

Happy to announce that progress on the wallet backend is moving forward smoothly.  We're currently testing out a smart contract that will help query multiple balances with a single call to a node.  This will help optimize efficiency moving forward!

Step 2, join the @ubiqsmart Community Discord. Follow the verification process by adding an avatar and requesting to be verified, then head on over to the #geo channel and let us know your username. We will then add your account in as a beta tester.

We are very excited to announce that the ERC20 wallet contracts have been developed for the $GEO backend.  Our goal is to test these wallet contracst out on the testnet over the next few months as we push towards the full launch.  Our focus will be on tying the backend altogether!  Cool

https://twitter.com/geo_coin/status/1133071813867532288

Does this mean that the geocoin.cash balances will finally be restored and withdrawals enabled? Been waiting years for this to happen

I think it does

And that will be a good time to invest, as many will go and sell their collected Geos on exchanges  Wink
Once all the backend is tied together you will be able to deposit or withdraw yes.

Do not worry 55 today have less volume than Geo at Bittrex market

How long before Bittrex decides to delist Geocoin?

Julian Yap is admin there and he is the dev of UBIQ network which GEO is also a part of.

Do GEO devs have a great relationship whit Julian Yap ?

A potential delisting is always of concern to any project, I cannot say whether or not Bittrex will choose to keep or delist any project.  We continue to develop and push for the full launch of GEO as hard as we can.  I have met with Julian once recently in person and I'm active within the Ubiq Community Discord where the Ubiq Dev's hang out as well so I feel our relationship is solid.

$GEO development still going strong, we were able to add in some more frontend input validation to our new Collection Messages over the weekend.  This week we plan to continue improving some of the GUI user experience and also investigate some exciting new ideas brought forward from our community of beta testers!

someone really wants to dump their GEO   Shocked

someone just leaked a large number of coins. Never mind. after all, the product from 2015 on the market, all the crises have survived.

Amazing the market took this hit like nothing happened, GEO is rock solid. I'm gutted I didn't have a buy order under 2k, that would have been nice.
Not exactly sure what happened there, the only thing I can guess is a fat finger or someone flushing alts to switch over to BTC.
