61  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Federal Government Plans to Delist Naira p2p on Crypto Exchange. on: May 07, 2024, 10:32:59 AM
The telegram integrated wallets has p2p marketplace I don't know if it's open source or closed but I have a strong believe that's it's going to be the next big thing, the trading volume it's quite low but if the FG succeeded in delisting NGN from crypto exchanges the volume would start increasing...

If wallet starts integrating p2p marketplace on their app will the Nigeria Government able to penetrate?
Somehow I am also having this feeling that when they succeeded shutting down most of the p2p platform from exchange, any other place they noticed is doing p2p could be there next target because nothing is hidden if you don't know.
Like if I will say they also have agencies that trade and source out places that allows p2p trading and if they found out TG offers such services they don't mind banning Nigerians from using telegram. Fear we Government because dem no want better for we Young youth.

Possibly, the government is ready to do anything to stop p2p trading. If fighting all the exchange to delist naira p2p, I believe any other platform that continues would definitely feel the heat of the government against their naira p2p trading.

I know the government always have agencies every where to find out  and do there biding. What I would just say is that where ever you find yourself trading you just ought to be careful and vigilant so that you don't fall a victim or get caught up while doing your business as it is that the clamp down is no longer on exchange but also traders who are also involved in the naira p2p trading.
62  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 3 things to know before investing in Bitcoin on: May 06, 2024, 07:18:47 PM
OP, you have done well by bringing up this topic here for discussion. I believe many newbies still lack information on the basics for Bitcoin investment. Many people here I believe learnt about Bitcoin the hard way because they had no guide and much information when they ventured into it.
Having the basic knowledge of Bitcoin investment is very important because that would guide you through in making the right decision so as not to run into loss.

There are lots of things to know about Bitcoin investment but it would be nice looking into the security aspect of it because this would guarantee the safety of your investment and assets.

Do well to avoid clicking of links you have no on about be it pm from unknown persons through social media handles, telegram account, email etc avoid clicking as they might likely be phishing link sent to you to steal your assets.

Do not save your private keys in google cloud. Avoid that and store your assets manually either on a sheet of paper or book which you alone have access to.

Always cross check wallet address before sending of Bitcoin to another wallet address because any coin sent to wallet you have no control over can not be reversed.

Op I see you might likely have gotten your post from some good source why not reference or cite them here so that members would see for themselves.
63  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Federal Government Plans to Delist Naira p2p on Crypto Exchange. on: May 06, 2024, 06:33:19 PM
It is no longer a new thing now that the fight against Crypto as the reasons for naira devaluation have taken another dimension. It all started with a serious clamp down on binance which forced binance to remove naira p2p from their platform. Binance officials were arrested, detained and charged to court. OKX followed suit by delisting naira p2p from their platform for the fear of the unknown and to avoid their organisation being dragged by the federal government.

Here again yet another one and this is the last straw that broke the camel's back. News has it that the federal government plans on delisting naira p2p trades from all Crypto exchange platforms citing the fact that it is the sole reasons behind the naira devaluation. They claimed that the naira value is being manipulated through Crypto market by unknown forces against the economy of the nation and this makes me wonder how does Crypto currency market affects the Nigeria economy.

This has been the war against Crypto enthusiasts in the country. I was wondering the calibres of persons we call our leaders leading the affairs of our national agencies. I was shocked when a ban was placed on micro finance banks from accepting new registration and they were labelled to be facilitating Crypto transactions which is totally not correct. This kept me pondering if really our beloved nation is moving forward or in a reverse gear.

How did we get ourselves here. Did the federal government just declared war on Crypto by this singular act?

OP, I understand the fact that your casino is trying to safeguard and defend her identity hence the locking up of the old announcement thread and creating this self moderated thread so that such occurrences does not happen. I believe this is what other casinos would have done of it were them having this issues. I would not hold you for that as it is obviously clear the attacks on your casino. I think I will call this a new leaf for your casinos presence here as this thread is launched.

I believe from now onwards you can be able to delete any reply or comment that is not inline with the goals of your casino and also taking your time to looking into ideas and opinions that would also add more value to the growth and development of your casino here.
65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enjoy being a newbie on: May 05, 2024, 05:44:29 PM
Of a truth newbies are very much  delicate when it comes to their ranking here but not all newbies are newbie as we think. Most of them are well groomed in the field but for the fact that they are being tagged a newbie by the position of their accounts, that is they are just new by virtue of their account position on the platform but are knowledgeable enough about the system much more than some high rank. Little wonder some newbie accounts here are tagged as a reason of their  performance based on the way they operate on the platform.

Nevertheless, it is good to ask questions because only those who ask questions are liable to get answers to their questions and that gives them more knowledge and insight about what they had asked about but if one decides to go mute and feel they know it all, they would always be a shadow of themselves roaming around and learning through the hard way which likely would cost them time and delay.

Exactly, not all of us are actually real newbies as seen on the profile. But you can only say what you see and leave what is hidden which is unknown. And again, as you said that if you don't ask you will not be answered, that is a very true talk. Because if you don't talk and say what is in your mind nobody will know what is bothering you. And even if there is someone that is trying to help you, the person will be thinking that you are ok and nothing is wrong with you. But if you ask or complain, then, those that are willing to help will definitely do the necessary. If you ask about what you don't know, next time somebody will come to you and ask you too. And if you are being given the correct answer, then, from that day you have become expert in that aspect.

Like the sayings goes, " a closed mouth is a closed destiny"  people tend to keep quiet over things that they could be able to ask questions about. They just ignore and  keep silent when there is avenue for them to ask. Although there are people like that but not to that extent of being too quiet to not ask questions that would be of great help and benefit to them.

I know of people that were once the quiet type that never talks too much but all of a sudden, I noticed they became talkers and I enquired about the sudden changes and they told me, " if you want to survive, you must open and shine your eyes, also talk our boldly to make sure you are heard" that was were I understood that their narrative changed. I was happy about it because they were too silent to stay with. In all, if you must survive then you will need to be vocal.
66  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can we do to make Bitcoin hit $100k on: May 05, 2024, 05:26:01 PM
OP if it were possible to make everyone individual in the world to start adopting Bitcoin over night, I would be the first one to embark on it but it just can not happen overnight like that. As it is that one would grow up gradually to maturity, that is how Bitcoin is growing up.
Bitcoin price would definitely hit the amount you have stated but I think it is a gradual process and another thing Is that if vendors and businesses all round the world coupled with government to accept and adopt Bitcoin, the price would definitely skyrocket to a higher price than it is now.
Lastly, if it is possible that everyone hudles their Bitcoin, there would be no much Bitcoin in circulation and this would trigger an increase in Bitcoin price which is a great step in fast adoption.
67  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Do Not Pressure Anyone Around You To Invest In Bitcoin. on: May 05, 2024, 05:08:41 PM
Investment is a choice and not something to compel anybody into. I have come to realise that no matter how you try to convince someone to invest into a project or business, if they are not interested they would not give in to your conviction but if they are, they would not waste time in running the investment.
I have been able to engage with people and also seeing their own perspective of investment and it is quite different every where. Some believe in different investment strategies and invest in different businesses of their choices.
Trying to compel or talk anyone into investing in a project is just a try luck something  because they will or will not give in.
Sometimes I believe success stories is a factor that convince people also. You can not be struggling to have results and want to convince somebody to go into that same thing you do when they have not seen the positive side of it in you. You will have to get results before bringing or convincing people to join you in the investment because is what they see they believe.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: May 05, 2024, 04:48:26 PM
Seeing a cash out on your screen and leaving it because you are so greedy is the badass idea. As you have doubled your money there's not harm in cashing the money out because you own it. These are the kind of things lot of gamblers do and they regret after, gamble is a thing of luck and you must grab the little ones you have seen because you don't know if the ones you are expecting might not come. So congrats to your cash out...
You can’t predict if the person will win or not, gamblers can still get lucky winning at the end but, it’s best we avoided being double minded and focus on cashing out. Most people can’t withstand gambling loss regardless they still choose to wait and I wonder if they don’t value their money rather they choose the gain involved, it’s better I withdraw my money than losing everything at once, no one can predict gambling right so it’s best gamblers cash out quick.
Think carefully about when we are in a winning position, this will cause you to feel too confident and want to continue or double your winnings on the next bet. And this happens to almost all gamblers who are too confident and don't have the ability to control themselves, and in the end most of them lose all their money and this is greed that never feels satisfied with the results of their winnings.
It is better to cash it out and walk away as it is a smart choice and will come back after enjoying the money from its winnings and try again when overall in a good position and playing with full awareness of being able to do it again.

You are correct mate. You know, when one starts winning a game, they begin to develop that self-confidence that it would be that way till they finish the game but in the reality, it is far from it.  It takes discipline and self control to be able to take a decisive action when gambling in profits. Greed too is what gambler's needs to do away with so that they do not miss opportunities.

Cashing out an opportunity that avails itself is better than waiting for an end you know not. Gamblers fail to understand this aspect of gambling and allow greed coupled with over winning confidence to rip them off their opportunities of cashing out big time.

69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: May 05, 2024, 04:00:41 PM
Hi community,

I remember when I was in middle school, we used to play cards almost every day, and our stupidity reached the point where we would skip classes while we were inside school. The method of playing was easy, as the largest number was the winning card. So, some of my friends and I would gather in the middle school bathroom and make bets with the money that we had collected  from selling cigarettes.
Of course, this is not something I am proud of and I do not recommend it to everyone, but it's just childhood memories .

This is very funny though. You made me remembered my friend back then in secondary school days. When he is given transport fare to school, he keeps the money and trek a long distance to school so as to get money for the game he plays in the class with his class mates.

Then we were in two different class ( A and B ) so when  it is break time, he and his friends put money to play a game called skep and it is played by ruling of lines on the ground covering a long distance and any one who plays to the last lap wins the entire money, any one who plays out line starts afresh from the beginning. This game can be played by more than 4 people at the same time. It is played with bottle cover called canta.

Those days, this game is amongst one of the games played by students when they want to gamble and challenge each other for superiority in that game aspect of exercise.
70  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: May 05, 2024, 03:26:59 PM
So far, I know that casino token are not really known in the Crypto space but rather they or few of them are very much known in the casino industry and as such should have the potentials of doing good because the gambling industry too has population of gamblers all round the world and in that case, I think Rollbit token would likely do much better because of it's popularity.

Rollbit casino is a big  and well known casino so I anticipate the possibility and tendencies for the Rollbit token to increase in price this bull run but however, gamefi tokens are not too patronised by the general Crypto space market but the gamblers are fully aware of this token and would  likely do with it as the casino has been in existence for quite a some time now.
71  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After Joining as a beginner what keeps you going on this forum? on: May 04, 2024, 09:29:09 PM
Joining this platform gave me a reason to continue with Crypto because I have got a lot of knowledge and information coupled with skills and experience since I identified with this platform. To be frank I gained insight into crypto by reading threads, topics and other important post that members pasted here. Tips on how to go about your activities here, Crypto projects and other engagements as it concerns blockchain technology.
The major thing I love most here is the fact that members are always open to sharing ideas and opinions with one another which is very much educative and entertaining to all who cares to read it.

73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do casinos require users to verify their identity through a KYC policy? on: May 04, 2024, 06:46:15 PM
Casinos sometimes demand KYC when  they observe discrepancies in the details of their customers. They do that so as to make sure  there is no issues in withdrawal as it is possible that someone might fake identity to steal from someone's account or when they notice a different IP login from that account for withdrawal which looks strange to them. In that case, to be on the safe side protecting the account and their brand, they lock the account and demand for KYC to verify the identity of the ownership of the account.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: May 04, 2024, 02:15:03 AM
That is equivalent around 143 Million rupiah and with that amount of money you can buy piece of land or brand new car so if the question Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? Im 100% going to cashout tho if you still want to play the game you can cashout 85% and go with the game with 25% if you can earn that amount of money Im sure you can do it again hahahhah. Dont let the greed consume you right now
This amount seems to be a big one in your country and by  that reason one could do and achieve lots with it there. Just as you have said, cashing out is not a bad idea as you have spoken. Those who are very sensitive would be able to understand and cash out immediately. If I am not mistaken,  in accordance with statement  cashing out in such percentage as stated could be a smart move though but at least it would be nice if one Cash out immediately  as you see that option first.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Developing Winning Crypto Betting Strategies on: May 04, 2024, 01:52:16 AM
I am not expecting a betting site to be posting about winning betting strategies. I read the post and it was ridiculous. There is no betting winning strategies there. It is only about how to deposit coins and gamble with mBTC.

There is no winning strategies in gambling. It is better you see gambling as entertaining activities than to see it as a way of making money. Gambling sites is more having chance to make money from you and other users.

I will agree with you sir because there is nothing like winning strategy. These so called strategies has been the cause of gamblers failure. Some gamblers are just ignorant and are not ready to listen and learn to know that.  Gambling should be for fun and nothing more than that. When you see it as entertainment, you have succeeded in dropping out of the addiction line and that is what could have cost you alot.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: May 04, 2024, 01:35:33 AM
If you ever decide to keep gambling to win back your losses, you may end up living under a bridge. The way to handle losses in gambling is that once you lose, for example $10, simply let it go and gamble some other time. Because you may be tempted to retrieve it back but then, you may lose more and then you’ll regret and you’ll start wanting only part of the money but you’ll likely only keep losing. Even if you succeed at getting it, you may still be tempted to win everything back and you may be stuck in a cycle which you’ll end up losing.

This is actually the exact cycle that leads to gambling addiction. When a gambler gambles with the intentions of winning and earning profit from gambling, that play is someworth not really precised and it would be obvious that  such gambler has a back to back serial loses records which have been as a result of the gambler to recover from loss. While doing that, addiction sets in and eats deep into the gamblers lifestyle and from there it will be obvious that such gambler is addictded.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 02, 2024, 07:37:31 PM
Using mobile phone is very much easy compared to the rest - I know some might argue that the large screen of tablet and laptops give it a better feel (which I totally agree with) but the fact that I’m able to gamble at any moment just makes phone a better option for me.

Of a truth using mobile phone is very much easy to use for gambling compared to others. Yes PC, tablet and desktop would give a good visuals and makes it fun and some worth lively but I don't think those stuff's can be carried from one place to another just like the phone that is mobile and gives quick access to the internet. The phone is more private compared to others and the best option as  you have said.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 02, 2024, 06:02:31 PM
Phone is more conducive than the rest of the others in the sense that it is mobile and can be easily used to access the internet at any point in time. With your mobile phone you can easily download apps from any part of the world and also gamble from there. It guarantees ones privacy when gambling because you alone have access to your device and it is a personal property that needs no ones interference unlike the rest of the others.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1xbit violated self exclusion terms, do not want to help on: May 02, 2024, 11:12:34 AM
Sorry about your experience with the casino. As you can see from reports here, the casino in question has lots of pending cases here to answer as it bothers their operations. You have been a registered member here for a while which you should have known earlier about this casino.

Looking at the fact that you have already played and lost your game, it would be very difficult for they casino to make refund as you have demanded  because it was within you to make your decision if to continue gambling or not as you have already written to them for self exclusion.  For the fact that they did not reply you is enough for you to self exclude yourself first.

Lastly, you said you contacted the customer care service to give you chat evidence and you expect them to comply for evidence you want to use against them. I think that would be impossible because they would never do that. This is more like one shooting himself on his own foot. I did not think they would agree to give you that as it would be a big evidence against them.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You Submit KYC Before You Win Big on: May 01, 2024, 10:47:38 PM
I believe every casino do have ToS for gamblers to see before engaging with them. You would not blame any casino if they keep mute and a gambler plays and wins big after years of playing without winning one dime and all of a sudden it just happened that you had won a game believe me you, every casino would want to protect their interest by following every necessary procedures to see if  the winner is worthy of the rewards and if not, they prevent or bar you form withdrawal if they are fair enough in the  position to so so.
