It very hard to detect a scamming platform because before they think or agreed to go into scamming they have gone dip into researching knowing what people want, what they are lacking and so on before taking a step.

On my own understanding, I think the best way is to stay off any business online but crypto,  any one asking you to send your front and back debit card and credit card and or asking to send your personal information.

With the short time I have been with these forum, I have come across different story on how people have been scammed, Almost all the story so far talks about their experience with scammers on social medias, forgetting that they are other ways or strategies on how people are been scammed.so I decided to list the various strategies on Which scammers practice on, in other to scam people in my own experiences so far.

Online shopping scam__ paying for what you ordered or shopped and not getting it, and also pretending to sell a product  just to get your credit card or debit card information.

Bank credit card scam or telephone scam__ Scammers send emails or text messages that appear to be from your bank claim that your account is having issues  and request that you verify your details by sending them you pin on the front and back of your credit or debit card.

Employment and job scam__ Scammers offering you job with good salaries or large investment returns and at the end asking you to pay some amount of money before getting the job.

Charity scam___scammers pretending to work for a particular charity organization in other  to extracting money from individuals.

 Cyber crime scam or computer hacking___scammers sending you website or link attachment encouraging you to click, once you click on the link attachment sent to you a malicious software will be installed and all you information will be hacked.

Dating and romance scam__Scammers trying to enter into relationship by using a fake details and legit dating sites, building trust and making feel it real then asking for money and your personal details pretending that they are sick, injured, family crisis, traveling and so on.

Lottery or gambling scam___scammers sending emails tell you that you have won some huge amount of money and at the end asking for fees in other to receive your money.

 Hitman scam___ this is a situation where the victim personal details is been gathered by the scammer either by personnel blog, or social network account thereby threatening the victim that if a  random some of money is not paid to them by the time frame provided , they will kidnap a family member.

many of us have learnt and experience alot about cryptocurrencies in many different ways and our understanding are also different, that is why I decided to write this topic so that those who are new into crypto will learn and also have a guide to follow.

my mistakes in cryptocurrency is greediness, hoping that I could make money without any effort, stress on  research and also quick money, my mind is to invest and reap returns, a part of me knew all along that this offer isn't real but the 'greedy part' wouldn't let me have a second thought on it, i really learn my  lesson the hard way, but the good thing is that I learnt my  lessons, and i have been working with it. therefore their is no easy way in making money, all you need to do is to follow the right way to Success.

During the covid crisis, I met a man on Facebook, who was friendly and chatty our conversation was normal,so we exchanged numbers and move to Whatsapp and share massages, After some weeks he started introducing me to crypto currency, how it works, how it been used to earn,he ask me to open a binance account, showed me on how to fund my account  he also  introduced me to his platform and persuaded me  to sign up then he showed me how to move the money to a trading platform where it will be invested. I made my first payment which I was seeing on my dashboard clearly and also how I can freely  withdraw it back to my binance account.

On the third that he persuaded me to invest more money so that I will earn bigger but I instead to see and withdraw the first investment before making or investing more but he keep on persuading me so i starting have doubts and bad feelings about it , I decided to open  the investment site to see if my money is safe and can be withdraw but when I open the investment site I found out that my trading site stopped working then I reached out to him, he asked me to contact customer service which I did and they told me that my account was blocked and I need to pay certain amount of money to unlock my funds, which I did then  I try again to withdraw my funds but i couldn't,  i contacted the customer service again they also demanded for more money, At this moment i absolutely knew that I have been scammed.

For what I understand about lightning network it is  a transaction channel between two parties where they can receive and make payment. but I don't know how it been used for what I have seen now I think it a good network that  worth studying more and understanding better before using.

Some of the reasons why binance and most companies chooses certain cryptocurrency for future trading and why they didn't provide all cryptocurrency for future trading is because not all cryptocurrency have the ability to historical breakthrough in volume, market capitalization, press coverage,  experienced mainstream growth, a surge in popularity and market cap ranking. therefore they choose the coins that possesses this qualities to enhance future trading.
