Any errors or unannounced down time are unacceptable on a 24/7 trading exchange. Each time something stops someone trading it could cost them money.

I dont leave coins on the exchange. I lost some when coinex.pw was hacked/robbery and never again!
Did the exchange close without warning after the hack? Was there any way to contact the owners afterwards? |

I got the same captcha/virus warning.  Then, when I finally got past the captcha I got this over capacity error!  |

The rise was just a show of what is to come for the end of the year with Doge,
in about 5 days Dogecoin will halve the block reward to miners.
Some people say 300 statoshi by the end of the year, some people even speculate 1000
I don't know, but everything seems good, I'll keep buying and draining the faucets.
I'm holding, so I hope it goes up, but it dropped like a stone after the last halving. Although some people put the drop down to the limitless inflation change around about the same time. There was a promise of a hard cap on the number of coins before then. |

Sometimes an exchange might close down with your coins still on there. Coinedup is currently closing and have given fair warning, and ample time to withdraw. However, if someone did not bother to log in for half a year they might find they have lost their coins.
Ow thank you! I had missed that. Still had some very old coins there. Nothing of value thought. I'm in the same boat and only found out it was closing today. It's mostly crap I have left on there, but some coins are so crap they do not seem to be listed on any other exchanges. |

Minting and mining both create new coins. Forging is used in NXT and no new coins are created by it. The transaction fees for each block are sent to whatever wallet processes it instead. |
