Any update on price of 300 MH/s scrypt miners?

Brand new Dragon 1TH/s are selling for $1500, roughly the price you are expecting. http://minersource.net/products/1-ths-28nm-minerBitcoing mining is not profitable at all anymore, unless hardware is cheap. Difficulty is surging up every single day. In another 2-3 months, these 1TH/s would also become useless. I am in NCR and can offer you $600 in cash for it. At that price, I can make a $200 overall profit in next 4 months. #981 087 1574

How is bitcoin written in Indonesian?
Bit+Coin or Bit+Koin
What is more prevalent?

They also desire tight control over financial instruments and interest rates. If Bitcoin were to become ubiquitous, that all becomes very difficult to do. The only progressive that seems to get this is Krugman, who has been sounding the alarm bells for awhile.
They certainly have been slow to react. Too slow for their own good. The genie is out of the bottle. Absolutely

Idiots!! What they will realize in time is that Bitcoin is the next biggest revolution after internet. The only real danger to Bitcoin may surface 50 years down the line, when Skynet becomes self-aware and takes over all internet. Then we may need a John Connor to save our Bits. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Fun apart, would the french police also declare Paypal illegal there once Paypal integrates Bitcoin in its system?

Just one word: Tragedy!! But then do remember, the loss you feel is all in hindsight. If Bitcoin was to be outlawed earlier on and had gone to $0.05, you would have been in a greater mourning. Going forward, I guess, Bitcoin will work exactly like a Bluechip Stock on Stock Market. Presently very few retail investors are aware of Bitcoin, once they get on the bandwagon, BTC will skyrocket. In my opinion, it's still quite cheap to lap it up. So, there, Cheers! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

For people who don't know, Satoshi is the first name of BitCoin protocol creator.
I realy don't think anybody on this forum need this explanation It's just a note. Let's not make any assumptions. Moreover, thread is not about Satoshi's first name. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

In layman terms, what I see is that you are not even getting back 50% of what you spend if you start a bitcoin mining project/contract right now.
And though the miner manufacturers are shipping out new hardware every day, new investors fail to notice that there isn't going to be ANY profit at all.
People who invested in the hardware last year, broke even and are now profitable would as well start to give up by Jan/2015.
It's that tough. Cloud hashing companies are simply sucking away the money of novice mining investors.

Bitcoin Mining Profitable Not Anymore, through Hardware or Hashing Contracts!!I wanted to start some Bitcoin Mining but then as I did a little research, this is what I came across. Scenario #1We buy a 1TH/sec capacity Dragon Miner by spending $1700 upfront for Machine and $650 in Power costs for 5 months till it stays profitable. Mining goes on for 5 months and we stop Mining at end of Nov 2014 where profits turn negative: Total Spend: $2350 (1*$1750 + 5*$130) Total Revenue: $1579 Total Loss: $771Gain: Bit-mining Hardware which may be worthless if it can't mine Litecoin and other Alt coins. Check profitability details here, under Mining Payout Schedule: https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/64db9d8003Scenario #2We buy a hashing contract at Cloudhashing.com ($5000 for $1TH/s) or at Bit-miner.com ($4000 for 10 Shares ~ $1TH/s), no need for any concern about Power Costs. Mining goes on for 12 months and we stop Mining at end of June 2015 where profits turn negative: Total Spend: $5000/$4000 depending on contract you purchased Total Revenue: $1907 Total Loss: $2100 or $3100Gain: NOTHING, just a big hole in your pocket (>50%) Check profitability details here, under Mining Payout Schedule: https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/057ce65576Some people will argue that Bitcoin Prices may rise. That's correct but in that case it's much better to spend your money directly buying Bitcoins right away. If BTC prices go up, so would your money! As I understand so far, starting a Bitcoin Mining right now is not wise. All opinions/counter-opinions invited. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

btw. Coin isn't Koin in german ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Germans often write Hard "C" as "K", I have given sales example. As for "BitKoin", it may not have been introduced to german dictionary since "BitCoin" is a new age word coined only a few years back. Very soon, when Bitkoin will be $5,000+ in 1-2 years time, as experts predict, you will see "BitKoin" in german dictionary as well. Same with russian, russians transliterate it as "Bitkoin". And in Indonesia/Serbia and some other european countries, "KOIN" is a proper word for "COIN". Check twitter, you will see all Indonesian/Serbian/Russian results on Bitkoin hashtag: https://twitter.com/hashtag/bitkoinAlso this: http://www.blic.rs/tag/139136/BitkoinSo, there you are! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Satoshi.com is not a type-in domain name like bitcoinwallet.com, that's one of the reason why it was sold only for $75,000.
Quite right! That's why I originally said $75k acquisition is relatively cheap.
|
|
|
doubt it. i'm thinking $350,000. Closing still a couple of days away, let's see what it gets to. Heritage people have a HUGE subscriber base, lot of other domains listed as well.

BTC.com has been bought by an australian company in what seems to be a private sale.
Great news. I heard about the domain on the market. Any idea on the deal size?

$75k is quite cheap compared to the benefits the buyer would reap in the long term.
